I just realized that the reason Paulie is doing ads for Denny's was because when he was stuck in the woods with Christopher he said that if he ever got out the first thing he would do is go to Denny's and get a grand slam lol.
im just watching the show like 3rd time in only this month and always crack up at the same jokes that i've heard already or i see something that i didn't see
@@dpDenizParlak Putting "the" behind a noun is often times used by old folks who don't have much knowledge on certain things/the noun being used. For instance, older (much older) people might say something like "Did you post a picture on THE facebook?" In that case, most people familiar with the concept of apps would simply drop "the" in the sentence or say "my/your" instead. Or maybe they refer to the internet as "the google" or "the firefox." Its hard to explain, but its something you have to hear over time to recognize how older people seem to use "the" when talking about modern technology that they aren't familiar with.
We can all cry about each SOPRANOS Actors now Waah Wahh Wahh.. But without the writer..director.. editor..it would've just been some more 2000s gabagool.
Good ting Tony wasn't on a basketball team having his crew yelling to him in a big rival game... Yo!!! Tony take your best shot already . Cause Tony would pulled a Beretta and shot a couple of guy's on the floor cahpeesh??
@@thernfoster5360 by then acidification of the ocean will have rendered the human population down to pre-agrarian levels, so no, someone 20 today will likely not see 80
@@KunalKeshav-dq6ty Well I mean The Wire came two years after the Sopranos. The Wire was very groundbreaking but it came after The Sopranos paved the way. 1999 vs 2002.
Really? I got an uncle who works in Waste Management and whilst he doesn't throw stuff off shelves in shops he drives across lawns after people that owe him money, must be part of the job description
Tony Sirico wasn’t just an act. He was a Colombo family associate who wouldn’t snitch & spent years in prison, changed his life around, & gave life to one of the best characters in tv history. I was genuinely sad at his passing.
I forgot about those old Netflix ads, the old color scheme before it was black and red... and the fact you could rent DVD's from Netflix that got delivered to you! Man.... it feels like it was so long ago.
Im from Australia & worked at a Denny's in 1987 to 1990's in Liverpool ,Sydney And we had Italian mobsters that had to have their table available at all times, they ordered the same coffee (botttom -less) & we had to feed them with appertisers all day..Some days they would stay 2hrs to 6hrs. They had some controlled regarding the drug trade in western Sydney. And have to say they were greatest tippers. And were so friendly you wouldnt think anything less of them..God I hope they dont see this, I could be their next hit.. lol Great days back them regarding the experience I had..🙂
I cannot stop laughing at that opera bit at the start, specifically the part were Carmella is saying the word "whores" but it is opera is coming out instead
ColJenkins There's certain movies that just aren't available for instant viewing. If you want to get DVDs sent to your house, that's a separate subscription. It used to be one subscription for both instant viewing and DVD home delivery when they first started and some people got upset when they decided to make it two separate subscriptions for each type of service rather the 2x1.
+array s I guess it's true what they say about only remembering the good stuff and forgetting the bad. But I still miss brick & mortar movie stores haha.
4:23 i love how paulie always find a way to make the most ridiculous things make sense. how italians arguing, they always win, you can.. fogedabowitttt
Even in these commercials, it's comes across just how much of a warm, genuine guy James Gandolfini reportedly was. What a talent, what a loss to the world.
Wow, I can’t believe Greg Schiano fooled the world so successfully that he was a good coach to the point where he does a commercial with James Gandolfini
@@RapidShotzZ that was me about 6 years after it ended. and we've had HBO longer than that. and even since then we're pretty much watching the entire series atleast once a year.
In some regard they remind me a lot for the commercial's for the Bayformers films in the late 2000's and early 2010's in terms of outlandish personality: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HlVTvUcK76s.html
I remember how amazing of a deal Netflix was back in the day. It was literally free movies before the internet. The only stipulation was you could only have ONE at a time.
Even the commercials were the best! Just started watching this show again in 2022 which is why the RU-vid algorithms picked up on it. I have never seen this video or these commercials before and this is the one time I am thankful for tracking!!
