Honestly Journey, yourself and FRR are the best reactors to the Sopranos. I cant praise you enough on these reactions how much you catch on. Unbelievable....
*I've never watched a single episode but I used to see James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) at my favorite movie theatre in the City randomly as a teenager and he was always nice to me. It's crazy cause I found out we had the same Birthday too. RIP*
The opening song is Frank Sinatra's " It Was A Good Year". It's deep. And it really sets the tone for the rest of the season, if not the series. Reflective and melancholy. James Gandolfini won his first Emmy that year. I think he won two more.
Replace "cataract" with "cadillac" with a Chinese accent and you'll get the joke. Also, in the early seasons Steve Schirripa (Bobby Baccalieri - Bacala is a nickname) wore a "fat suit" to make him look bigger. He stopped wearing it a few seasons in.
Its interesting seeing Tony's sisters, and that out of all of them.. Barbara seems to be the most normal and well adjusted. Tony and Janice seem almost cut from the same cloth lol. Makes sense, considering she was the one who got the fck outta of that toxic environment when she could make it happen. And being the baby of the children, she seems the least affected by the family dysfunction. But she is aware of it.
Yes! When I was at work today I randomly thought, "I hope we get a Sopranos vid from Journey soon." Great reaction. Your face every time Tony's mom hits the screen cracks me up so much!
24:38 The whole joke is with the Asian accent it sounds like he’s trying to say Cadillac, but he’s actually trying to say cataract but then the Asian man thinks he’s at a talking about cars and has an Asian accent, so he says no I drive a Rincoln continental. As in the Lincoln continental 😂
Calogero meets Spider, that's what I love most when actors from different classics show up in this series, so I think it's also predictable on first viewing and not a spoiler when I say that C wasn't the last familiar face to pay a visit to The Sopranos.😁
Hi Journey Marie, I love this movie “Rudy” (1993). This movie is actually based on a true story. I have it on blue Ray I watch it several times. It’s a real good movie laughing & crying! It’s about High School Football kid loves Notre Dame Football and that’s all I can say so I don’t spoil it for it and I really hope you never saw this movie before. Lol great movie great cast Sean Astin,Vince Vaughn,Charles S. Dutton and many other great cast.
To be fair to Bobby, he is just an underling. Tony is the defacto boss. If Bobby had said that to Tony's face, he probably would have ended up in the ground.
You're smart enough to have picked up right away on Moltisanti's cheating by paying someone else to take the exam for him. You've no idea how frustrating it is seeing other 'reactors' totally oblivious to this obvious situation and even thinking there are two "Christopher Moltisanti" 🤷♂
The man, the myth, the legend. Bobby Bacala! Also I think it's good to keep in mind what Pussy says about Tony absuing that jokey shit. Especially as boss knowing they can't really say shit back to him.
@@journeymariereacts LOL, that was selfish of me. I should have said "Pray for us!" You gave me so many LOL's with this reaction! Best was "I'll do it" when Livia said "Just push me out the window" 🤣
J.M., SO IT'S SORT OF A STEREOTYPE THE CHINESE PEOPLE WHEN THEY SPEAK ENGLISH INTERCHANGE THE L'S AND R'S! SO THE JOKE IS CATARACT, SAID WITH A CHINESE ACCENT AND SWITCHING THE R FOR THE L, YOU GET CADILLAC!! SO THE CHINESE GUY ACTUALLY THOUGHT HE WAS HEARING THE WORD CADILLAC INSTEAD OF CATARACT!!😅 AND THEN OF COURSE RINCON IS LINCOLN!😂
