Sometimes I watch this and find it so funny, Tony just completely changing into rage at the slightest thing. Then I realise there are people like this who really exist in this world. I pray my sister never meets a guy like this.
"I think it's time for you to start to seriously consider salads" "What do ya mean?" "What do I mean. I mean get off my car before you flip it over ya fat fuck" one of the best lines😂
@Richard’s Testicle Head yeah the truck was fine. And it was at a point were I had very low impulse control and the shit was skipping. To make it worse, it wasnt the CD player and I knew that. The CD was just fucked up
I hope James Gandolfini went to Heaven so he can finish his role as Anthony Soprano for about 10,000 seasons so when I die I h e something to watch in Heaven.
@@rabguk This is coming from a man who can’t stand without the fear of shattering his bones. Can’t cough or sneeze without the the fear of breaking a rib or worse. What he’s talking about is a special kind of pain. Pain that never ends, no matter how much shit you try to cover it with. That kind of pain can be as bad as physical ailments, because it never goes away. Sometimes I’ll hear a certain sound or see a scene from a tv show that somehow rips me back in time to the place I was when I first experienced it, much like I’m sure the rest of us do. Only it’s never happy. I’m starting to think it’s just something within me, that makes it happen this way. Some melancholy section of my brain that refuses to remember anything good or happy. It’s like for my whole life I’ve been digging this hole,a massive hole, for no reason. Just to climb out of it every once in a while to see the sunshine. But at some point ,for whatever reason, some sound or some scene from a show will play and all of a sudden I’m right back in that hole. Right at the bottom, just digging and digging. Until I somehow find the strength to drag myself back out. Just to repeat the process. Endlessly. Pain is personal, but universal. A language we all can understand. To truly feel nothing. To be truly “dead inside”. A more peaceful existence, I cannot imagine.
Jack F. Damn! I’d say get help but for some it don’t work. Idk what your situation is but I can identify with a lot of what you posted. Only advice I have is find something you hate. And use it for fuel. I hope things get better for you. Anger is better than despair!
There's many great shows that I have watched. But there is none other that I keep coming back to year after year and still enjoy watching like the sopranos
2:05 “It’s jimmy, fuckn jimmy. THE WIRE!!!” Now ask me why Jimmy McNulty popped up in my mind. Let find out HBO was showing easter eggs before it was a thing.
It's because Jimmy Altieri was wearing a wire. This wasn't a reference to The Wire, a show which hadn't yet been conceived of when the relevant Sopranos episode aired
"It's like i'm walkin down the street, and i'm looking up cause i feel like a safes gonna land on my head" -Tony: season 1 "You eat, you play, and you pretend there isn't a giant piano hanging by a rope just over the top of your head every minute of every day." -Carm: s6
9:44 one of the most chilling images i’ve ever seen. this show was so good at taking a grounded look at the world and showing you a vision of hell, replete with nightmarish villains like Livia. the sacred and the propane, see?
I don’t give a damn what anybody says James Ganfolfini absolutely killed this role damn I wish he was still alive he put so much detail into Tony Soprano even when he rages out he makes it look extra dope
He was so FUCKING INTENSE! Your heart can't take that year after year! " Richie Apriel" ....David Proval said "acting is not a healthy career" James was so great! RIP..* @ 9:40...with his Mother..."T' was such a BULL!! Intense!
I can keep coming back to these Tony raging videos..... Gandolfini was a once in a generation actor. Wish some of the other parts didn't get taken down, but appreciate you taking the time of uploading them.
this show just proves that any scene you give james he could flip it to an all out amazing tv series james really owned his craft as an actor to just deliver to the audience watching that he was here to stay god rest his soul
It’s hilarious to hear Tony say “ I can’t find pussy anywhere”. Granted I know it’s the name of one of his guys but taken out of that context is hilarious.
Carmella's voice gives me flashbacks of my mother , she was way way way more angry , violent , mean and all around a nasty bitter person similar to Tony's mother but even worse. We are Irish and German but she had that Jewish princess thing with all the gold and diamonds and flashy bs even if we lived on couches and had no food . I get chills thinking about it.
From NYC? I'm born and raised in NYC. Lived in 3 different boroughs, all in heavy Italian neighborhoods, and the most Italian of them all is where I spent most of my life. Born and grew up on the South Shore of Staten Island which has the biggest Italian population in the entire world outside of Italy along with being a sort of residential haven for wise guys because its still NYC, but suburban and residential so its good for families, and still close enough and a part of the rest of what's happening in the more city like areas in the other 4 boroughs. I grew up in this culture with 3rd gen Persicos, Langellas, Valentis, Cutias, Gallos, and more. I'm off the Island now though and currently live in Hells Kitchen, Manhattan. Growing up on Staten Island with a very NYC Italian mother is exactly what Carmella reminds me of. She is literally my mother. From the accent, although a little rougher NY, to the style, to the mannerisms, to the homemaker perfectionist, all the while ready to snap on you lol... I'm all too familiar with this entire image and portrayal. The whole culture.
The eye movement at minute 3:45 is so on point. It sold me when I first watched this show to tune in next week. Something 2024 will know nothing about about lol.
Two Fat Fucks with Black Hair was the greatest hip hop duo of the early 2000s. I have all their songs on my phone. I love singing along to their sick beats. "Oh yeah, baby! We're two fat fucks with black hair! We're fat fucks over here! We're fat fucks over there!"
People usually watch comedy to laugh their asses off, but I’m not lying when I say I’ve had some of the most laughs I’ve had in my life just watching tony rip into people. Idk why it’s so funny, maybe because it’s so relatable.
man, scenes like the last one makes perfect sense on aj`s personality in the last season.. those aren't problems a kid should listen adults talking about especially if one of them doesnt care about it and the problem is a relative so important as one of the parents
