Además como suena el idioma Castellano en los oídos de lucitanohablantes (agradable, bonito ,bello,aceptable ,interesante ofensivo, fuerte, etc etc ...) If you're learning Spanish or want to, one thing you'll find easy is that the pronunciation rules are solid. You pronounce as you read, not like some cases in English when the pronunciation is far away from how it is read. Also, you can be creative as hell with insults.

Nice! Very useful! If you tend to speak English, Spanish may seem similar. As a Mexican, it is easier to learn English because I can relate some English words with those on my mother language (spanish)
@@tring-aling-ahim-bahoo-lah6378 you didn't! I think duolingo is an excellent option to learn the basic point of Spanish. It would be nice if you could also read something, maybe you're already doing that. What I believe is more important is to learn how to write it, for mexicans it is easy to understand learners, even though they show trouble speaking Spanish. To read, to listen, to understand grammar (which is even difficult for some spanish speakers). With initiative, everything turns out to be much easier.

As a native speaker from Spain I can say is too "formal" to me use "automóvil" to refer a car, we normally use "coche". And the verb "conducir" is common in Spain but in LATAM is normally replaced by "manejar".
I'm a Filipino and currently learning Spanish. I could understand some words, all the days of the week, the months, and basically all the numbers. I want to be able to understand and speak Spanish so I could understand my country's history and culture much deeper and preserving them as well. I really wish I could say, "Yo hablo español" with confidence and conviction soon.

Soy "millenial" de Filipinas, aprendiendo español. Aqui se llama tambien "Kastila". Si, la mayoria de los filipinos ya NO HABLAN español pero es aún considerado como un idioma cultural...por ejemplo canciones en la iglesia catolica. En nuestro barrio cantamos "Adios Reina del Cielo" a Maria.
Agradece que hoy pase eso a Estados Unidos. Una pena, antes el español era hablado por muchos de tus compatriotas de la época. Por cierto, escribes bastante bien el español.

Soy alemana, empezé a estudiar Español en 1982. A mi me gusta mas la pronunciación de America Latina. Mi esposo es de Buenos Aires y adopté su accento porteño. Es un idioma muy lindo. Un saludo desde Alemania del Sur.

@@alvarezabonce Es siempre mejor estudiar el idioma estandar. Los dialectos alemanes son difíciles, tienen muchas palabras diferentes al estandar y la gramatica también. Como es que tu conoces el suabo? La región donde vivo ahora (cerca de Stuttgart) se habla suabo, pero aca hay diferentes niveles. En mi región se habla mas suave y hacia las montañas se habla mas fuerte.

I'm native Russian. When I first heard Spanish, I fell in love with this language. I practice Spanish for 30 minutes every day. My every morning starts with Spanish. It is an extraordinarily beautiful and sensual language. I adore Spanish culture, architecture, lifestyle and Spanish girls. I'm also learning English, German, Ukrainian (it's not difficult if you know the Russian language), a little bit French and Swahili, but the Spanish is language number one to me, it sounds like music to my ears.
I'm Brazilian and I don't speak Spanish but can pretty much understand all the comments written in Spanish... It's so cool how much you can catch from the similarities. If you have studied some Spanish, maybe Portuguese could be an easy one to explore next

@@Itzagral Es más fácil entender el portugués de Brasil para mí. El de Portugal requiere mucho entrenamiento de oído. Dos semanas suelen ser suficientes para emtender bastante. Son las vocales la dificultad principal (para mí)
@@E-102 Then only one that changes its sound is U. In structures like Q-U-E or Q-U-I is silent so it sounds like KE or KEE, the same thing happens with G-U-E and G-U-I. In this case the letter U is also silent but its use followed by an E or an I makes the G letter change its sound, G-I would sound something like JEE (the exact sound doesn't exist in english i believe) while G-U-I would sound like it does in the word gimmick.
@@marcosg.6535 but the U vowell is a rule to help to make sound the consonant as they want to pronounce it, only for the Q and G consonants , remenber this exist also in english in the word GUITAR (guitarra). if they want to make sound the U between G they use diéresis (the ‘u’ pronunces in ‘vergüenza’ y ‘agüita)

Yo estoy estudiando ruso desde hace 2 meses. Al principio me costaba interpretar la P como una R, o la P rusa me la confundía con la L rusa. Lo que me llamó la atención es que varias palabras rusas suenan como en inglés, por ejemplo avión se dice "plan", y helado se dice "disiert". Ahora estoy aprendiendo con Duolingo y ya estoy en el nivel amatista. Ya sé saludar, despedir, pedir disculpas y decir "no entiendo" 😂 también se decir que hablo ruso. Spanish is a language with a very rich vocabulary. It has a great variety of insults and compliments, and affectionate words, and description of feelings. Like English, it is a language with many synonyms and a very extensive vocabulary.
ive always honestly felt english has so many words for so many times and places that its miraculous. its like english used to have tenses for words that you dont need to use anymore but you can still use them as well as 15 alternatives.

Yo me río de la gente que aprende español se queja del subjuntivo, y en realidad es una gramática que prácticamente no se usa. Aprendan bien el indicativo y no van a tener problemas
Spanish is an easy to learn, hard to dominate language. The reason? Well, unlike english, it's very consistent with pronunciation both in vocals and consonants. So learning how to speak is very easy, and you can make yourself understandable without even knowing how to conjugate verbs and sentences, wich is very good for starters and tourists in spanish speaking countries. The problem with spanish is also what makes it beautiful: it's an extremely rich language. It has many, many different words with the exact same meaning (wich allows you to speak or write without repeating them) and also words that define something very complex. Learning all those words is literally impossible and can be confusing. Also, since many countries speak it, it has a massive variety of accents (search for example Argentina vs Mexico Vs Spain accents), and you might have issues understanding some of them, specially when they use very regional vocabulary.
To be fair, every language is hard to dominate, and every language is rich in a way or another. It doesn't matter how close it is from your native tongue, there's a point between advanced and intermediate level. I'm from Argentina and even today, arter many years with English, I still struggle with it, especially with words like on/in. So yeah, I know how hard is to actually overcome that part, because I'm still there. But well, that's the best part of language learning, you never stop.

En el colegio que fui en mi país podía elegir entre ingles y francés, así que los primeros 3 años opte por ingles y los siguientes 3 años por francés aunque también había opciónalmente si querías sumar un idioma mas como italiano o portugués. El gobierno comunista chino lo usa oficialmente para que todos los chinos lo conozcan como segunda lengua y ha extendido su uso obligatorio en los medios audio-visuales. Hay muchas variedades de chino, irreconocibles entre si. Sólo comparten la escritura, que son pictogramas, no un alfabeto. Algo parecido sucedió en Italia. Una nación con una fragmentación lingüistica considerable. Adoptaron como lengua oficial el idioma hablado en la ciudad de Florencia. Para extenderlo en Italia, se decretó la obligatoriedad del doblaje de las películas extranjeras por el régimen de Musolini. Desgraciadamente el gobierno del general Franco hizo lo mismo en 1.941. Luego se eliminó el doblaje obligatorio. Pero el mal ya estaba hecho. Los españoles sólo quieren películas dobladas. True, next time your on a cruise pay attention to the names of the Fillipino workers, they almost always have Spanish last names like Garza, Martinez, Garcia etc.

@@agu_ayala05 no es igual, pero se parece bastante si escuchas hablar un paraguayo con un argentino de Córdoba, Corrientes o Formoza. En algunas partes de Ecuador se parece su forma de hablar más a la zona andina que la colombina. Cómo sea, así lo clasifica la RAE

Sadly the Phillipines is chaotic because even tagolog isnt the same as what is called Filipino taught in school which only makes it harder for pinoys because of diglossia which means that people switch between two versions of the same language 😕 plus spanish wouldve made it hard for the Phillipines to thrive in the new English dominated world so it probably is a positive in the long run but as you said having it been taught to some extent in school would've been important not only because of how much its connected to the Phillipines and its history and literature etc and no im not saying the other Filipino languages shpuldnt get attention quite the opposite i advocate for making each language in its Provence or area its spoken official especially minority languages

Ahí va: Soy de Filipinas (los países no llevan determinante) y estoy estudiando español porque el idioma español (sobra el "de") es fácil (acento en la a) porque las (nunca olvides el determinante) palabras (no parablas) filipinas tienen palabras españolas (conjugar en femenino y plural). In Spain, as you may noticed, we have 4 official languages: Galician, Spanish, Catalan and Basque. Spanish is spoken all along Spain, while the other three are spoken mostly in their regional areas. The four languages have been spoken for many centuries in Spain, they are even older than the country, so they are Spanish languages too, because they have been important in Spain history or kingdoms that preceded and form the actual country. That's why we often refer to Spanish as Castilian inside Spain, but as Spanish outside.
@@redbuki about Castilian we said the same thing, but using different words. About the other languages, if we count Aranés, we should talk about Bable, Llionés, Patués and a few more. The main problem here is draw the line between a language or a dialect (old or new) or a language-to-be, in their own formation process. From the classical perspective, Aranés, Bable and others are old dialects (Latin too evolve dialects) or languages-to-be, without any written tradition and few speakers. This doesn't mean that they don't deserve being respected or preserved, it's just taxonomy. And Valencian is one of the most spoken dialect groups of the Catalan language. The differences are insignificant and the fight is more political than academic. If we assume Valencian is not a dialect, we have to stablish that Hellenists study more than one language.

In my opinion, any language must be studied, I'm just saying that is really difficult to stablish perfect criteria to draw the line between language, dialects and languages-to-be, in an early formation step, as any philologist know. Anyway, even there might be more than those four mentioned before, Spanish 1978 Constitution recognize only those. Does that mean that only 4 languages coexist in Spain? No. Does that mean that Catalan or Galician are not Spanish languages? No, of course they are. Why is it amazing to speak Spanish as your native language? - The amount of speakers is huge. - It will allow you to learn incredibly fast any romance language (Italian, Portuguese, French, Romanian, etc) and also English. - You can be understood in all South America (Yes, even in Brazil because they are intelligible). - You will have a lot of experience with tenses if you want to try languages such as German. And yeah it's God's language
Sorry, I agree with most of that, but, not the last one... being a native speaker of Spanish (Argentina) and being able to speak fluently both Portuguese and English, I can tell you German is still a big pain in da back... It's easy at first, but once you hit the German cases, then you're screwed.... I had German Lessons for two years and I'm not able to have a basic conversation in German... I think I can even speak better Italian or even French that I have never studied, than in German.... Cases are the Parka (the Death bringer).... XD (oh by the way, French will also be complicated since the influence of the Celts and Occitan.... I would strongly recommend you to watch some Ecolinguist episodes where they test the mutual intelligibility of the Romance languages, and you can see how Italian Portuguese and Spanish are mostly mutually intelligible but French is like in other lvl) Hugs!

Soy de Ucrania y estudio español por mi mismo durante tres meses. Hablo inglese bueno y francés malo pero español me gusta lo mejor. Es una idioma complicada debito a la grand cantidad de las formas de verbos. Pero me gusta la pronunciación de palabras españoles :) Tambien los españoles sustantivos tienen género. En mi idioma que es russo tambien tenemos géneros. Pero tenemos tres géneros (masculino, femenino y medio). Pero masculino y femenino generos no siempre coinciden en russo y español. Y esto confundes :( Cuando empiezas a estudiar una idioma despues inglese se hace claro que inglese es muy simple :)
Escribes muy bien, note un pequeño error, es "un idioma" no una idioma. Porque? Porque es mas fluido decirlo asi, suena mejor decir "unidioma" que "unaidioma" notas como chocan la letra a con la i?

Pero creo que este curso es poco viejo :) Idioma ruso es muy complicado. Por que tenemos no solo varias formas de verbos sino varias formas de sustantivos y adjetivos. Entiendo como esto es complicado para una persona quien estudio ruso :) Para mi lo mas dificile en español es la conjugación de verbos ¿Esto es verdad que ustedes utilisan todas las formas de verbos, o hay las formas que se utilisan con mas frecuencia?
Thanks Paul. I Learnt Castilian Spanish-it was called Peninsular Spanish in those days- As my first foreign language 40 years ago.I found I could converse easily with my Mexican friends. German followed but I’m older now so struggling a bit to gain fluency in French and also re-learning my mother tongue of Scottish Gaelic. I wish the Gaelic was as easy to spell as Spanish ! Love your channel.
Una de las cosas que más me gustan del español es que su pronunciación es silábica y no fonética. Es como las matemáticas, en cuando aprendes a unir las letras y formar sílabas es muy fácil no equivocarse pronunciando
No importa cauntas vocales esten unidas , todas se pronuncian una por una , no como el ingles que algunos casos se unen vocales y se pronuncia como otra vocal diferente
That´s wrong, Spanish language evolved from vulgar Latin, and Galician had a similar origin. It´s origin dates more or less from the same time, roughly the VIII or IX century.
The main substrate in the Iberian Peninsula was latin since the Roman conques, third century BC to the begining of the first century.Latin was widespoken in the peninsula due to being part of the empire for several centuries, this latin evolved into several languages including leonese, galician, old castilian and catalonian, and others disappeared like mozarabic, although there is a lot of words loan from arabic, the main substrate of Spanish is late latin.

True, native spanish speakers tend to have problems with most languages when spelling because of being used to such a consistent and predictable spelling in spanish.
I am a native spanish speaker, the diferent dialects you can find aren't so difficult to understand. As long as one can, to learn a language opens the doors to another world.

I live around mostly Mexicans. And I was married to a couple of Puerto Rican’s before. And I still love to hear Mexicans speak Spanish. It flows beautifully in my ears. It is the accent I chose to emulate. And it makes more sense to me to learn their idioms, collocations, and traditions logically speaking.

La mejor parte de hablar castellano o español es que si bien cada país tiene un vocabulario propio, nos entendemos fácilmente vengamos del país hispanohablante que sea, en el peor de los casos preguntamos que quiere decir cierta palabra, a diferencia de los anglos cuando se encuentra un norteamericano con un jamaiquino o australiano, un francés europeo con un quebequense o los alemanes del norte con los austriacos, he visto nativos que no se entienden en absoluto! En español no se llega esos extremos.
@@nessyness5447 Podría ser, si un gallego me habla con un acento que parece mas gallego que castellano por supuesto, pero te has tenido que ir a regiones para buscar un contraejemplo. Lleva un parisino a Montreal y puede que tenga que esforzarse bastante para entender y comunicarse, casi como si fuera otra lengua.

@@nessyness5447 en Latinoamérica no, ya que prácticamente se habla el castellano cuando se menciona "español". Salvo los modismos propios de cada país, es bastante sencillo entendernos debajo de tanto orale, boludo, weon o parceros.

No hay ningún problema en entender al resto pero se entiende más el portugués que un chileno hablando. No sé que magia hiciste para que youtube no te borre el comentario por usar la palabra con g que tantas veces he querido usar y me lo tumban. Pero no es ningún hábito de ellos ni es ningún insulto simplemente es la realidad. De seguro Chile será el primero que creé su propio lenguaje separado al español

El español es el idioma más expresivo del mundo, pues es el más rico tanto en vocabulario como en modalidades verbales y en el que la gente puede expresar mejor sus ideas. Cuando leo algo como un libro o un texto en mi hermosísima lengua siempre me enriquezco y me siento cada vez más orgulloso de tener a este idioma como lengua materna.
I’m from the Philippines I don’t speak spanish but my grandmother who is 86 years old speaks spanish fluently the thing is she has a very strange and different accent compare to the native spanish speakers who are really born in Spain and Latin America. I remember one time there are people from Spain who visited our home town it was my grand mother who entertained them and I was only 9 years old that time now I’m 27.

No tenemos letra P y G como en otra letras en el mundo ya que árabes son semítica races como malta, Hebrew todo liga árabe. Vos Argentina tener él mejor cultura que he visto en mi vida. Yo quiero a viajare a sur America para ver todo países que he nunca estado antes.
Y si lo complicamos : -El uso de la v y la b, para el español de España suenan igual como una b pero para el latino la v es sonora. Palabras homófonas ejemplo voto ( de votar en una urna en unas elecciones) y boto ( tirar algo) distinto significado. -La h que es muda, la h intercalada. -No sólo conjugaciones verbales , los tres modos indicativo, subjuntivo(éste es díficil) e imperativo. La r se lee, ¿cómo en la palabra "arado" o en "rojo"?. ¿Cuándo se escribe "rr" o sólo "r"? -La riqueza de vocabulario. Ejemplo: sinónimos de rojo__ carmesí, colorado, bermellón, encarnado y hay más. Étcetera... Siento el tostón...de una lengua defenderse es posible, hablarla y escribirla bien requiere tiempo y práctica. Cuidar vuestro idioma sea el que sea. PD: Se dice que el español mejor hablado en España ( castellano) se habla en Burgos. En Madrid algunos tienen acento.
Soy de India, y hablo inglés, hindi, tamil y español. Me encaaaaaaanta este idioma - la cultura, la amabilidad de las personas de España y LatinoAmerica, la música, los bailes, uffff es increíble! He notado que el español es fácil de aprender para nosotros en general porque los sonidos del español y del hindi son muy parecidos (por tener el mismo ancestro - Indo European). Siempre me dicen que tengo buena pronunciación. El único sonido que es difícil de hacer para mi es lo de 'z' jaja aún no puedo! @@albertorodriguezfernandez2160 I know that it's the same sound haha (I did my masters in linguistics). But we speak Indian English, and this sound doesn't exist for us. We pronounce the th in bath like how you would pronounce the t in taller. Jaja la verdad es que lo puedo pronunciar, pero todavía no estoy acostumbrada de hacerlo, por eso es difícil de recordar y esforzarme en corregirlo. Sabía que el inglés de la India suena diferente de cualquier otro inglés (de hecho, es muy característico), pero no sabía que no tuvieráis ciertos sonidos. ¿Qué hay de la erre como en "perro" o "marrón? Es el único sonido que he visto que cuesta de verdad a los angloparlantes.
@@albertorodriguezfernandez2160 he notado que para nosotros el 'erre' no es difícil de pronunciar, a pesar de que no existe en nuestros idiomas. En mi opinión, es porque tenemos el 'ere' simple (como por ejemplo en la palabra 'quiero), y lo aprendimos como si tenemos que acentuar o doblar el sonido. ¿Me entiendes? Mientras que en el inglés de UK o USA, el sonido simple 'ere' tampoco existe. No sé como se dice en español - they roll their 'R's, their tongue is rolled back and therefore don't really have the simple ' r' and therefore find it difficult to articulate the 'erre'. Espero que hayas entendido lo que quiero decir. :)
Soy turco y el español suena muy bien. El español es un idioma muy difícil de aprender para nosotros los turcos, así que nunca creo que pueda aprenderlo. Pero me gusta escuchar canciones en español aunque no entienda.
Cuando nuestras televisiones empezaron a emitir novelas y series turcas, me interesé por el idioma y no creo que ni en mil años fuera capaz de aprenderlo, porque un idioma no es más que un código de sonidos organizado para comunicarnos, y la forma que tiene el turco de organizarse no tiene nada que ver con el español, ni con las leguas romances, ni con el gran árbol de lenguas indoeuropeas. Es otra cosa y habría que aprenderlo como aprenden los bebés a hablar. Así que veo todo en turco (la voz de los actores es muy importante) y con subtítulos en español, aunque al traductor de RU-vid se le olvida con frecuencia que en turco las palabras no tienen género.
I’m Japanese/Canadian but Japanese by birth and grew up in Mexico when I was 6 to 9 lived there with my family. I went to Mexican school with my sister and picked up Spanish very quickly as a young kid and almost forgot Japanese but I eventually caught up to a par as the rest of Japanese people after my family returned to Japan. It was painful to relearn Japanese especially writing those Chinese characters. Anyway, as I became adult and eventually my family moved to Canada 🇨🇦 26 years ago, I & my family settled in here and I became Canadian. As I have lived here for a long time, I started to see more and more Latin people started to move in or at least visit for a while for whatever the reasons. But majority of them are very young and “younger” Mexican people who are learning English and/or working and hoping to get some status in Canada. I get to speak to them sometimes in Spanish and I see a little difference in how they talk with young generation in comparison to older ones like myself. It’s interesting but I prefer with generations I come from in general and so with Mexicans just in terms of “how they express” even with Japanese or Canadian people. Well, I know I’ve turned to be an old fart 💨 but what it is is what it is....Anyway I see those younger Mexicans are now speaking “Mexicans”, when you ask some Spanish (from Spain) or other Latin people from outside Mexico. 🇲🇽 Well, it’s the same thing as Brits speak British, American speak American and we Canadian speak Canadian-eh? 🤣😂 I love learning different languages and I even learned many different dialects within Japan as I also moved around within Japan. Japanese language spoken in Tokyo are is called, “standardized or standard Japanese” and one that is spoken in Osaka area is called “Kansai-ben” which means “Kansai (Osaka and vicinity districts) dialect”. People from both areas (Tokyo & Osaka” speak very differently but we can understand each other quite well. But if you go to much northern part of Japan, for an example “Tohoku” area which is the part of Japan much northern part of Tokyo below Hokkaido which is the north most island of Japan. They have very strong dialect and a lot of people from Tokyo or Osaka have sometimes hard time to understand them speaking. Anyway, I still speak Spanish but not as good as I could get a good job so I’d like to learn more and I want to be fluent as regular Spanish speaking people. A mi me interesa aprender mas Español pero necesito mas tiempo y experiencia usando la lengua con mas gentes de Latino Americanos y de a España. 👍🏽✨🤩🤓
I love it when I see other people like yourself speaking languages like Spanish and etc. I remember watching Rush Hour 3 and the Chinese guy was speaking French and didn’t speak Chinese. I know it’s a movie, but it is great to see things like Asian French people and etc. I live in a star with a pretty big Asian population and I just love it. I get to shop in Asian stores, grocery stores, bakeries and restaurants. It is a normal part of my day interacting with many Asian Americans and their various cultures that it seems weird if I couldn’t. My community is very Asian heavy and I am all the richer in culture for it. And now I am seeing a bigger LatinX population, especially Mexicans now. And I love that too. I hear Spanish all around me and now I am on a quest to be a part of the growing Spanish community that is growing. They’re my neighbors and I want to be able to talk and interact with them.
It's always been Spanish to me. I've worked with people from South America such as Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Guatemala, Peru and all but one have called it Spanish. The guy from Argentina was the only one who said Castellano. Seeing how the same language has it's differences based on the country it's from is really neat. Currently trying to learn French and being a native Spanish speaker helps a little.
@@pablobordon4121 I know my friend is from Brazil and they speak Portuguese. Romance languages derive from Latin so we can kinda pick up on some things.

Lo escribes bastante bien para estar aprendiendo. Los nativos también tienen bastantes problemas para escribir correctamente. Yo también puedo entender el inglés al leerlo, pero me cuesta demasiado escribirlo y leerlo.
