I knew you would LOVE THIS there isn't one member who stands out it's a perfect performance from the whole band. Terry throwing his tambourine at the bouncer who was stopping people getting on stage 👏👏👏 Well done Terry sticking up for your people
Love it. The Specials here are doing a Mash Up of classic original era Ska Songs including The Pioneers Kick De Bucket, Liquidator, and Skinhead Moonstomp by Symarip. Greatness! I personally like the Specials second album, such as Do Nothing and Rat Race, but you have to do their classic, Message to You Rudy, if you haven't already
That was at the Colchester Institute in Essex in Dec 1979,The bouncers were stopping the kids from getting on the stage and terry lost it and throw the tam brine at them. After the gig they found their tour bus had been broken into. great gig that tough.
Had never seen that before! That was awesome! The band Southern Culture on the Skids have people come on stage to dance and through fried chicken into the audience while they perform their song 8 piece box
Longshot kicked the bucket - about a horse who died in a race Then Skinheads Moonstomp (skinheads never used to be racist) Good to see Ska revival looked back on so fondly as we did the original Jamaican Ska back in the day

@@ghichens3418 my late uncle John rode Triumphs in the sixties and seventies two of which burst into flames while not moving just idling in the driveway
I saw this band in about 1980 at a (free!) festival in Rotterdam which also had the Cure at just before the time they broke through with A Forest. They were wild, the Specials that is.
I was at that gig in Auckland When the intro for GHOST TOWN 🤯😍 STARTED it was one of my favourite gig moments ever everyone turned to eachother with the biggest shit eating grins and it was on a few seconds in time I'll never forget
Now we're talking, ❤Terry hall rest easy brother, a very " special " man united supporter , and could be seen most home games, with his mates, superbike champ Carl Fogarty, and simply reds Mick hucknell, 🏴✌️
Main point of interest, besides Terry Hall trying to bray an annoying bouncer with his tambourine at one point, is to keep an eye on Sir Horace Gentleman, playing all of these mad-complex ska basslines whilst never, at any point, having more than one foot on the ground at any one time! God they SUCH a fantastic band!
Have you guys done GHOST TOWN by THE SPECIALS? The first time i saw THE SPECIALS when the introduction to Ghost town started around six thousand people turned to eachother with the biggest JOBBIE eating grins and it was on!!! JOBBIES big JOBBIE GRIN'S Jay knows what I'm on about 💩
@@SPKdesign1 Auckland and wellington have a great Ska scene. Your down wellington way aren't you?. One of my favourites from Wellington is THE OFF BEATS been around for a long long time really nice people and a great night out
Unfortunately i can't jog or run unless my life depends on it and even then i don't like my chances it hurts my left leg hip and back too much but I've got no teeth at the moment so better power to wight and no teeth to worry about anyway
@@SPKdesign1 i never run for a bus FK it I'll get the next one it used to cause me all sorts of grief in my school days But there was a space invaders parlour next to the bus stop so it wasn't boring waiting an hour for the next bus one twenty cent coin would usually last me 40 minutes on Tube Panic my favourite game back in 1983/84
