One of Super Mario 64 Speedrunning's most infamous stars "Dire Dire Docks 100 Coins" has gone through a lot of changes. As the 120 Star World Record gets faster, new speedrun strategies / routes must be found. This is the history of Dire Dire Docks 100 Coins.

Amazing video! It's so interesting to see, how these strats evolved, despite them basically being available since the beginning. I would personally love to see a video on the evolution of Dark World reds and the respective cycles, especially since that star is highly relevant for (almost) all categories.

I have one idea: You could try to bounce off the wall straight to the seventh coin when collecting the sixth red coin with wall-jump + dive instead of wall-kick back to the sub (15:10). The only condition that would have to be met is to bounce off the wall, starting at a slightly higher height.
