Galloway needs to remain largely bypassed by the tourists headed north. A beautiful unspoilt region of Scotland which the hordes usually miss out on, thank goodness.
Well that was something! I have a genealogical interest so I'm always checking in on Galloway but haven't seen anything that shows me the beauty like this. Well done thank you.

Stunning photography. I live just outside Glasgow, but will be moving to Dumfries and Galloway within the next couple of years and hoping to continue my photography there, but if I get images like yours I'll be well pleased. Thank you for sharing.
That was beautiful! I have loved Galloway since my childhood, family holidays at the Portpatrick Hotel, and then later adventures to visit the ancient monuments and stone circles. Your photography was/is beautiful and gave such a delightful vibrancy and atmosphere. Looking forward to a return visit soon.
I wish people would stop posting about Dumfries and Galloway. It's a secret, let the great unwashed carry on up to the highlands, nothing to see here, leave it to us in the know to enjoy the fantastic scenery.. Seriously though, Great photos. Just don't tell the rest of the world. ;)
I understand! My ancestors were from Galloway and ended up in West Virginia, where, despite attempts to grow the population it so far is rural and not growing much. Makes for scenic landscapes and friendly people.
