And then what? MAYBE Survive the Pelicans? To just get rolled by the Thunder in 4 maybe 5. Best thing was to get obliterated so the front office stops the bullshit with the 8 guards we have on the roster
@@OGSauceDaddy i mean Zion is ruled out, Ingram is on minutes restriction (which is stupid for do or die games) all you got is Cj Mccollum. I know this season the dubs don’t have a chance, especially when the west is stacked the way it is atm.
Curry scored, what, 22 pts? If Klay had 22 pts they still lose. So the real issue here is, and always has been, Curry. He's way overpaid and plays like garbage constantly. He's awful. And if Klay/Dray get traded, Curry will never get even remotely close to a playoff. He can't even make the playoffs with the same guys he's won 4 rings with. Pathetic.
First play and Klay throwing up his hands like a kid throwing a tantrum, zero focus. Dude was already checked out the game from the start and his performance testifies that.
@@FoolTubetvI had to think for a second. Lol, yeah. The other way, it just escalates until it stabilizes in mutually respectful competitiveness, or keeps escalating to violence and then force multipliers
@@candidfob8423 "a line of hereditary rulers". So basically, Steph's kid needs to grow older, get drafted by GSW and immediately help them win championships. The closest possibility is Lebron and Bronny, which is still unlikely.
I like how someone complained you should edit out Mike Brown and replace it with Steve Kerr but instead, you just added Steve Kerr to the insult without removing Mike .
Interesting seeing just bad decisions from Klay. It's one thing if you have these surgeries and your knees aren't the same, but it's another thing if you turn into a chuck and don't even try to play smarter. I think Kerr really isn't a good player development coach, but is a good conceptual sort of coach who understood spacing first. That 3 did a lot of their development as players prior to Kerr, Kerr just knew how to design the offense for Curry, Klay, and Draymond to play well, on top of them just being Hall of Famers in their primes. And it shows here because if you've literally won championships, how is it that you don't know how to attack a lane or not to throw a no-look lob in a single elimination game to make the playoffs. There's no reason why Klay shouldn't be cutting all day and hitting layups, the chasing 3s would have been nipped in the ass by a better coach.
this man is legit me internally when i'm out watchin the game at the bar. Every now and and then i let out a harsh critique and get eyeballs, but if i let it ALL out, i'd be kicked out xD
Klay was an absolute disaster this game really highlights his weaknesses and his ineffectiveness without 3s, he can't even make simple passes, and flopping on missed layups
Klay has the worst habit in taking contested shots and then wonders why he cant hit them. Just because you can hit contested shots doesnt mean you shouldnt try a drive to the paint or wait for a better shot. A contested shot is bad Klay damn at least hit a few open ones to heat up or get a few close shots to open the floor he was so 3pt hungry which is Kerrs job to curb and have them understand to take easy inside points to get pressure of the 3pt line. Kings all they had to do was force 3s because Warriors were allergic to the paint.
Greens shenanigans, Wiggins mysterious family issues, Klank Thompson building subdivisions , Podz fire going out, Kerr playing favorites with his rotations. The season was over when it started. Steph gave up before the game started look at his body language.
Tbf I think a lot of these problem would be rectifed if Klay Thompson is actually somewhat useful in offense because they won't be able to double curry as easily and things would open up. Their system is still acting like Klay can shoot, therefore it is now problematic when he can't. Some of the actions don't make sense anymore
Imagine AC here getting the opportunity to question Steve Kurr and coaches like Doc Rivers after these games during the post game conference room (WITH a tv/computer monitor‼️) 😁😭😭😭😭👍🏾 #itsoverladiesandgentlemen
@1:21 Saying that curry is unable to attack off the pick and roll is super unfair - this is honestly just good defence & poor judgement by TJD. TJD sets the pick way too high - Murray and Sabonis instantly recognise this and both go to trap Curry which forces him to pick up the dribble to avoid a backcourt violation. Curry actually makes the right read here - dishing it to Green, who has the best angle to set the lob for TJD. You say Sabonis can 'easily recover' but at @1:48 he is clearly beat and TDJ has a clear path to the hoop. Honestly it's takes like this that diminish your credibility and make me feel like a lot of your analysis is essentially just knee-jerk, shallow rage-bait. It's fun to listen to at least I guess.
I mean, judging play to play could be sometimes too nitpicking. Especially on the offensive side. Defense is heavily focused on scheming and awareness but offense is not always about the decision making but other skills. So like saying he should have keep the dribble or make a pass could be unfair because it's just not their strength.
Multiple plays where Curry had his defender beat and he still gagged. Stop crying about double coverage when Steph is not the only player in the league thats guarded heavily
I thought I was tripping with all the criticism saying it was Steph's fault. The Kings played great defence once they realized Steph was the only threat. It is tough to get going when you are playing 1 vs 3. Not saying he made some mistakes but I don't think he is cooked.
@@teresamcgee-vd2uc Fair Moody and Kuminga showed up but they played spot minutes. Klay and Wiggins played too much while not doing anything allowing for this to happen
0:27 eeh i dont agree with this one at all. After he got barnes (not ellis) with the pump he penetrates to force sabonis to guard him. But Ellis is currently splitting steph and trayce, watching klay's eyes to figure out who he has to run to. So klay looks off ellis by pretending looking at curry, which literally worked perfectly. Its just trayce had butter fingers
Respectfully I have no idea why this dude knows so much about basketball. I feel like i could take him 1 on 1, I might have a faster first step and I bet I could put the clamps on him too
Kerr spending too much time being a "players coach." No consequences for bad defense by the Veterans. Not a good example for the young players, who were often held to a higher standard despite their putting forth more effort. The worst. Re-watch the game and observe the many instances where Chris Paul elects to guard open space while the other team is scoring. Warriors defense simply fell apart when two Veteran Guards (Curry, Paul and Thompson) played together.
Stephs off ball movement and great teammates in the past made running the pick and roll pointless. Anything they would get out of a pick and roll was a lower quality shot than what Steph could create off-ball and what Klay could create on catch-and-shoot. Now that they're both declining they're getting exposed for their limited offensive breadth. Curry can't run the PnR to elevate surrounding teammates when his shot isn't falling, Klay similarly was a 3 and D guy and now he's missing both the 3 and the defense - everything else about his game has always been average. It's sad but neither of them have been able to adapt their games to keep things going in golden state and both need a change of scenery to do anything worthwhile in the league right now. Steph needs to go to a team that has gravity with other star players to allow his off-ball effort to result in more open looks, and Klay needs to go to a team looking for a spot-up roleplayer instead of a starting 3 and D role. Draymond probably needs to go podcast somewhere, he is a ticking timebomb for hurting someone important to the league and as his abilities have declined his aggression has continued to incline. If the warriors were in the playoffs there's a high chance he would have had another few episodes in their first series This decline from Steph is also why I don't consider Steph one of the best PG's even though I would put him at top5 combo or shooting guards in the league
@@allonzotate7497 Yes, there has been a clear decline from Steph whether or not you're willing to admit it. He is not a bad player right now but is not who he used to be, and needs another superstar to take some of the gravity on defense away from him to be successful now
Klay and I had the same amount of points against the Kings on Tuesday night. Except I did not play 32 minutes. Just. Wow. Klay is washed (has been for a while). Kerr is.. just fucking awful. Why is Klay playing 32 minutes when he provides nothing on offense.
