I think its more a English thing. I dont know any Scottish towns that do weird stuff like that. If they do then it will defo be either people from the north or east coast of scotland because they are a different breed on those parts

Hi Zac and Jay. I am a big fan! Can’t believe you made it to the barrels, I live in ottery myself and enjoy the barrels every year. Unfortunately I haven’t lived in ottery long enough to carry them, I would love to carry if I could! The carriers have huge respect throughout the town! If you ever want to come to the barrels again, I would be glad to meet you and show you how the locals do it! I have a suggestion or 2 - maybe the Pamplona bull run or how about La Tomatina (tomato fight in Spain). Keep the content going guys!
