great work WA!!! still waiting for a accurate movie about this that shows the german U.S. mps with the purple scarves, the upside down yellow triangle on the captured vehicles and the turrets on the captured tanks turned to 10 oclock so they could tell was with the. check out the black & white interview with skorzeny where he mentions the numbers that he had available.

I recall reading when the Americans became aware that German soldiers were impersonating Americans one question a suspected infiltrator was asked "which team won the 1944 World Series."

If I recall correctly, the men in those images were part of Kampfgruppe Hansen, and they had ambushed and overran an american column earlier in the day.
