I had the P for a while, but once I got the C2, game changer. C2 is my EDC, Streamlight TLR1-HL, Holosun 508T. My holster for the majority of my guns is the PHLSTR Floodlight
@@patvenzke2155 I’m tracking they have a safariland holster for the P but not there own kydex holster. I really don’t want to spend over $100 on one holster right now.
**BE CLEAR** The 4.45 P DUO and the 3.9 C2 DUO both fit the exact same Safariland holster. I own both. You do NOT need a new holster if you get a 4.45 Safariland. BOTH will fit correctly.
Relative to the user. One gun is 4.4”s long and the other is 3.9”. The 3.9 c2 will sit deeper in the holster. The 4.4” P. For some like yourself it may not be an issue. For some, their needs are different therefore, they go with the “proper tool” mind set. When a pistol sits too deep in the holster. It can impress the draw…. Example. A G19 fit in a G34 holster. Fit it’s not the proper fit.
saving up for a p duo…luckily I can get it on the veteran/first responder discount which comes with like 6 magazines and a kit $2100 the last time I got a quote on it..it may have went up a bit by now due to everything going up in price 🤙🏻. Thanks for the tip for the 2 different holster options with safariland sir.
i realize gun control laws may spark another ammo and gun shortage BUT at the same time, most people are losing most or all of their disposable income with inflation being so high. Hopefully, ammo and gun prices drop more soon.
Guns are still at the prices they were 3 years ago. Ammo has come down to 2019 prices in most calibers. As much as I would like to agree. The problem is with the current state of the country. The prices won’t ever come back to 2017-2018. If they did there are assholes out there who would buy millions of rounds and try resell it for a profit.
Yes DUO was when it was a better deal and came with what you needed to install an optic. DPO is where they charge you more to get what was used to be included. Granted the new RMR plate is better than the old plate, but still. Having both, one on the P and the other on the C2 (it being included was still a better deal)
I've rented a non optics ready P model. Wasn't impressed, pistol is overrated imo. Unless your a 1911 2011 guy. Muzzle rise was obnoxious, a $1500 gucci glock will shoot flatter. The ambi thumb safety made the pistol uncomfortable to shoot as well.
Your experience could have been due yo the range rental or your Grip was off, if you had excess muzzle rise. The 1911/2011 grip is very different from the traditional “glock” grip. The P-Duo shoots great I dare say there are no Gucci Glock’s that are on the same level of a 2011. People often complain about the price. But rarely is it a complaint on performance
@@rdrgear grip was definitely not off. My grip is actually too aggressive as I lock the slide open with rounds in the magazine on 1911/2011s. I started shooting with 1911s. I have this issue with several firearms as well though. As far as build quality it doesn't compare to a glock, however performance wise I would agree to disagree when it comes to a glock with 1k-1.5k worth of work. Would make a nice video for you btw...
I agree. The gun is made for tacticool bros who are easily swindled out of their money. There is nothing about its performance or reliability that justifies the price. It's funny the company uses Garand Thumb's likeness to sell its products when he himself will say his favorite handgun is the Glock 17. You don't even need a Gucci Glock, an out of the box Glock and most Sigs will protect your life just as good if not better.
@@constitutionalright827 In regard to glass quality, the RMR isn’t that great and is heavily tinted. Other than the bottom loaded battery, the rest is fantastic. @jakeMTSU The Deltapoint has stunning glass quality and direct mounts to the Staccato, but is more fragile than the RMR and is extremely chunky and too tall for most suppressor sights.
