There's one factor not covered, you can turn the macro into a hotrod with the icarus precision macro aluminum grip with gas pedals and thats relevant because any gun we use for edc is worth improving on and the sig is far and above more modular.
I had the hellcat pro, and the 365 x macro axg. I now run the m&p carry comp and I love it. I may be honeymooned since its the "new hotness" but the trigger is very good and shoots great. It did have the slide lock issue but I fixed that and it runs amazing with the track record or the 2.0 platform. Good stuff guys.
Just curious, are you talking about the Shield plus CC or the Compact CC? i haven't heard about the SP CC having that issue yet so I'd be interested to hear (hoping to get one soon if no one finds serious issues with them.)

I got the pro but im taking the pro comp im good on a EXPANSION CHAMBER smh sig get away with to much bs gimmicks to b always charging the high...either they self shooting rusting or u losing a rear sight for no reason...glock fans i learnt to deal with them. They'll admit the short comings but sig consumers are delusional af
@@HighGear39 that’s very possible. If the cables price 2k+ and it’s not a trade in gun. Then you would be correct. If not, they do not have the LTT upgrade just the licensed external LTT Styling and these guns are produced at beretta.
I love it how good black looks after you couldn't have one for awhile. Proves my point, black is the best. Always has been. FDE is trendy sexy. Black is actual sexy.
Don’t like the back of the grip. It’s straight like the latest M9 version. The curved back on the 84FS is much more comfortable. I’m not upgrading to this new version even though I prefer the light rail!
Have you heard of the new grip system that hps recover makes for these? Makes them a lot more modern and adds a front rail. Also the mag safety tends to make the trigger on these a big clunky
@@Warrenar117 ask any pistol smith, if you can air rack a 2011 you got a shit box of the 2011. I own a lot of high end 2011’s and I got buddies who have scratch built guns, that make mine look like high points none can be Air racked, IG followers? And you are quoting Pew View as a reference, lol 😂

@@12_nine9 i honestly have never even looked all my rds pistol i zero at 25 yds. I start at 10. Move to 15 and then final zero at 25yds. Me personally even if the pistol and RDS claimed to be zeroed at X distance im still going to re-zero for myself since i will be the one shooting it.
@@tomcolbert9391 surprisingly tight, keep in mind the question you are asking is really a 1911/2011 question. And if you have ever owned a ED Brown pistol, there is such a thing and too tight, of a slide to frame fit which then requires a specific number of break in rounds. Im no gun smith, but since the platypus is a 2 piece pistol versus a 3 piece, like a 2011. The slide barrel and overall accuracy is great. In the first review, the sample guns, were all used pistols, even with those i did not feel anything that was super loose “ rattle matic”. However i do feel the upgraded Bull barrel, is a definite improvement on accuracy.
How do you feel about the metal mag release with plastic mags. I know for the shield arms mag release on the 43x they recommend because the metal 15 round mags will cause the factory release to wear. Just curious on your thoughts.
How did you get that acro directly mounted without the plate? I have the 5" pdp match poly, and the pdp compact 4" and they both require the plate. How else could you mount it without that plate? The sides need to latch onto something..
@@HVACR_ToolNut this is the PDP professional as i stated in the review, this gun is the LE pistol that walther offers as their contract gun. It comes with the ACRO direct milled to the pistol slide. I believe these are now offered at the retail leave as well. Don’t get too caught is the “rds depth” rabbit hole. The direct mil is to cater to LE agencies so they are not mounting 300-500 red dot plates.
I've been looking at different videos about the Staccato specifically the xc & p. Came across this video and it's been the first video that highlights negative aspects of the gun. Not knocking on your personal thoughts about the gun just thought it was interesting the contrast from other youtubers.
@@fazotakeiteasy i have been running a 1911/2011 for over 25 years. I came up when STACATTO was STI, and gun that cost twice what a STACATTO costs. My review to someone who has not come up on a 1911/2011 or knows the history of STI, i can see how my comments go against the grain. Also can say is do your research, and if you like the XC get one. The P is the best sprung gun they offer, it’s just a lot of money. The XC is very over price as i stated, I own the XC, i shoot other guns over the XC.
I don’t understand how you compare this to an RMR, an open emitter optic, then say it does the same thing. The RCR is different specifically because of its design. What did you expect it to do? Shoot a laserbeam? Anyone who has shot with an open emitter optic has, at some point, gotten dirt, dust, mud, etc. in the emitter area. Also, the ACRO optics have had a plethora of issues, including fogging, breaking, and generally being unreliable in relatively mild conditions. This is well-known and I’m kind of disappointed you didn’t mention it.
@@bartmay9560 honestly, i have just never been a fan, i have shot them in the past, we used to offer holster for certain models on the early days of RDR. The accessories market back then was tough as well, plus the temptation to send them to Cajun Gun works, to get then all tricked out.
I ran 220gr Stelth ammo on both settings with a Silencer Co Saker ASR762 with no issues, had some 150gr and 190s it ate it all! Love my canebrake but would like to get a lighter spear upper

He literally said the gun costs $1800. Go buy a turk turd or a prodigy if you can't afford that. I hear hi point has something just for you. I paid just under $2k for my platypus and it's probably the best investment I have ever made in a firearm.
I haven’t seen anyone really test the bull barrel accuracy since it’s a newer offering, but I have seen people get really good groups with the bushing style.
Sig p226 owners. I purchased the RXP X pro slide from sig it has both DPP and trijicon holes. I purchased an RCR. The RCR came with 3 sets of mounting screws. 2 sets of screws short with courser threads, one set with the right thread pitch for the Sig 226 RXP slide but too long. Drummel with cutting blade and put screw in a vise. Measured the needed depth with calipers and cut a little long then fine grinding wheel on the drummel until i got to the correct length mounting screws. Once mounted i found XS has mid ht suppressor sights. Those are perfect height for the deck ht of the RCR. Normal ht suppressor sights cover too much of the window. If you have the old 226 RX cut. Best option is the Apex 320 RX acro plate with Steiner MPS. It sits low and the same mid ht XS sights. If you want to take it from someone who has spent YT'er money to figure out whay actually fits for enclosed RDS on Sig factory cut slides.
@@rdrgear i prefer red dots that hold zero. My romeo 1, 1 pro, romeo zero, and romeo 2... didnt hold zero. I have already seen lots of ppl posting the romeo x doesnt hold zero. Its as if you have to zero sig optics, shoot a mag or two, re-zero rinse and repeat for the first 250-500 rounds. All mu sigs are relogated to 22lr or range toys. That and open RDS or cups for lint, sweat, and debris dont work for my profession. Land surveyor in MI. Sand dunes, swamps, rain, snow, high humid, back into AC, mud, coffee, banging off equipment & trees, etc. Plus the hammer bouncing off the RDS daily for hours. When its in the back game style pocket of my safety vest. Found enclosed emitter is stronger.
@@rdrgear i never said you didnt pay for those dots. My post wasnt throwing shade at you. Simply telling ppl how to mount them to sig pistols bc its unbelievably hard to find out if you can mount to sig pistols, which sig cuts, and what it takes. I am a sig fan but no their RDS suck. Ive owned multiple of most models.
@@user-jv4ic8rh4d I did not Take it that way. Sorry man there is no tone in text. It’s a lot of work. That most People buying an RCR may or may not have the skills for. There are many better options than the RCR when you look at the rds in its performance, and end user functionality.
@@user-jv4ic8rh4d am now of 4 Romeo X pro. I know of 6 agencies who are using them. Odd how yours do not hold zero, when a sample Size of over 1000 do.
I been curious since they came out. Saw one for sale at local range and it was smooth as butter. The grip angle is definitely different than a normal 2011 to accommodate the Glock mags. The guy mentioned that they had one in their rental fleet. Thing was filthy and pretty dry and I couldn't get the damn thing to fail. Mag dumps, one handed limp wristing....nothing. Thing shot so much smoother than any Staccato I have ever handled.
