The Starting Line - Direction (Live at Studio 4) 

This album brings up such good memories of me and my dad. He passed away in 2011 when I was 17. I remember shouting the lyrics of Something Left to Give with him in his car so many times. Such special memories I’ll always remember. Thank you for that.

Wow. Incredible! I just discovered this album. I was a huge fan as a teenager when I was like 13, I had no idea this album came out 5 years later. It’s so evolved. I’m 34 now and I’m loving this more than I loved their stuff as a teenager. I just ordered the CD since I still listen to CDs in my old car. They’re really good live too, great energy!

Brian's "Don't Open The Door Even If You Hear Me Screaming" was hauntingly brilliant.

This album was more mature than i was at the time so now i appreciate it more in my 30s

I loved this album. Hit me at the perfect time in my life, and it was what i needed to hear.

Great times driving around in my town in florida just listening to this on my Zune over and over.

This album was so integral to my understanding of songwriting. The songs were a perfect balance of simplistic yet very musically dense yet. Lyrically and arrangement are literally just some of the most fun and potent I’ve ever experienced as a consumer. This is without a doubt their best album. Super tight and polished but authentic and digestible. If they make another project in this vein I’d gladly take a listen!

It genuinely makes me happy watching Kenny and the guys playing these songs. So much good vibes from days long past.

I feel so lucky to live in a time where I can sit on my couch and see this beautiful recording. So many wonderful memories.

Their later albums like Direction were so negatively criticized. Say it like you mean it was my fav. Such a great production. I never wanted to hear the same sound, they evolved very well. Musical evolution should always be supported. It innovates. That’s prolly common sense.

Grew up with this fellas. I lived in Buenos Aires back then. Now I live in Amsterdam, and it brings so much nostalgia.

This whole album was so freakin good! Y'all need to do a Starting Line rebirth... new album and everything. Rock music is coming back, especially the kind y'all did. Killed it live too... the band was tighter than ever and how long has it been? Seriously amazing work.
