​@@NaidvarRamblesand it also has been like that for-literally-ever! The only thing different today is the powergap as it's much easier to focus on one specific brawler and making him maxed out on low trophies, which leads to you dominating everyone until facing off with an equal stats, but much higher skill level than you (usually above 600) which pretty much locks you in a state where you can't really go up until you train more but you also have no purpose because it's out of your comfort zone. Players like mentioned above are the very reason why 500-650 is considered to be an equivalent of CR Midladder where a bunch of ppl got high with the overlevelled stuff but get destroyed on an equal playing field get accumulated and stuck for eternity, presenting a roadblock for all the underlevelled newbies on their way and inspiring them to fall into the same trap of overlevelling one brawler in hopes of getting past that and continuing on but getting outskilled and joining the blob. Not that it hasn't happened before, it's just much more vibrant and noticeable now. 5am comment, sorry for some illogical parts

I am a bit of a game developer and i can defend them a bit because sometimes the code breaks for no reason and it is hard even advanced coders mess up such basic things because there are so many rules but i don't know how in the hell did the hypercharge event break the game this bad they literally had to copy the code of the previous hypercharge event but change the brawlers and maps

I removed them entirely as they're a pain to do, but I plan on taking time away to learn how to use Premiere Pro so my editing feels a lot more fluid compared to how things are now

Just wanna correct a few things here: - The reason the maintenance for the update was so long was because they tried to find a fix for the iOS crashing bug, NOT because of the Hypercharge Unleashed event. Matchmaking was fixed shortly because they removed the event and added it later on with the optional update maintenance. - The lost player data post was likely a complete hoax. You likely saw the screenshot elsewhere, but it's nowhere on the official BS account, so it can only lead me to that conclusion. I do have an opinion though: bugs (at least the fun and non-disruptive ones) are kind of a part of this game's identity. Shit, look at the SP and gadget swap bug a few years back, which is still fondly looked upon. I also think the Mega Pig, while worse in terms of rewards and more annoying (which I do agree with, Starr Drops shouldn't play such a big role or if they should, they should be rarity-based depending on the end result), I'll take it any day over the boring and unexciting Club League/Quests and another unnecessary currency in Club Coins. Otherwise, good video as usual. Take care.

Personally I don't have an issue with any of these. The main issue I have is how unfun some of the new brawlers are. Chuck is just unfair in Siege. It used to be my favorite gamemode, but now it feels completely unplayable as it seems to just revolve around Chuck. Even outside of Siege, you have to constantly pay attention to Chuck because if he hits you with his Super, he can basically immediate hit you a bit more then run away, which is just free damage. Charlie has a 10 seconds remove-from-game, and you're left with no ammo when breaking out. It's basically impossible to win a 1v1 once she lands her Super, and the chance is cut even lower if she has the cut-health-in-half star power. Cordelius's Ult lasts way too long and is a swiss army knife. At the very least, you shouldn't be able to charge Super by that much when using your Super to easily kill someone off. Furthermore, the recent increase in power per level means that it's much harder to beat higher level opponents. The best example of this would be 1v1-ing someone with the same brawler. Brawlers that in the past needed to be 2 levels higher to change the dynamic of a 1v1 with itself, now only needs 1 level. Those that needed 4 levels now need only 2. This is especially problematic with stuff like Jackie where there really isn't any way to meaningfully win such matchups. There are also some brawlers with quick unload speeds that are balanced out by not being unable to 3-shot brawlers. Brock is a benefactor of this, being really deadly at close range, with the caveat that he's also very frail, but if you can 3-shot or 2-shot brawlers, he becomes far, far deadlier. Increasing the power gained per level makes these interactions sometimes feel really Pay-to-Win, sometimes turning certain matchups from almost impossible to lose, to almost impossible to win. Even aside from that, something going from a 3-shot to a 2-shot means that you're forced to retreat after just a single lucky hit.

Hey, someone who has been a player of the game for almost 6 or 7 years now here, wanted to talk about starr drops in particular because I feel like I have a very unique experience and insight. I have been in touch with the news they shared on their podcast: they released starr drops as a way to appeal to the community's demand of bringing back boxes ever since they were removed. This was not something they would have added had so many people not been so nostalgia blind: in hindsight, boxes were not a great way for long-term progression since their drops favored only unlocking brawlers lower than mythic rarity and getting star powers/gadgets without paying coins for them (which is still good even in a long term progression sense). The issue is that despite the game's in-place safety net system with starr drop rarity rates being adjusted based on your actual luck to make sure you never go too under odds of getting a mythic or higher drop, you still are bound to have inconsistencies with your rewards which may make things exciting or frustrating depending on which side of the coin you fall in. While I personally have nothing against starr drops as a whole since they are genuinely great for the economy of the game, especially the f2p: I still deeply despise the offers that sell starr drops for gems or actual money, be it stand alone or alongside other rewards. I have a sincere gripe against gambling aspects in any game: especially one where it can easily reach younger audiences. I used to feel exactly like this back when brawl stars was following clash royale's formula of selling chests for gems when it was with big and mega boxes. Nobody should be buying those, especially now that they are doing it the same with monster eggs, which are overall WORSE starr drops.

Tl;Dr Starr drops are mostly repainted boxes that are mostly a healthy aspect of the game in both the dev's and playerbase's side, gambling is bad.

Brawl stars as a game has some issues which is fine I dont think any game will reach perfection, some of them are star drops - it still feels like gambling and getting cosmetics from a high tier one is disappointing asf - , brawlers - I think they sometimes release too many and dont focus on QOL which is important and some of the brawler designs are lazy like hank or their aesthetics are repeated like melodie and the spiderwoman I forget her ALL the time - , the hypercharges - imo some are just stat buffs which makes the game feel like who can has a bigger stat stick and in addition of increasing the amount of stats brawlers get with level ups- But also the community is a big problem most of the community is either cry babies or people with MASSIVE egos , its kinda rare to find a normal person mostly the content creators are fine which is good but so many times I've tried to interact with the community and 80% of them ended because of overly sensitive people or someone who thinks that they got offended but the problem is their ego as an example I said that a brawler needed a buff and people took that as my shutting on their main(btw I didn't even say anything about anyone else but that brawler )

Namaste! Good video. Even a month ago when you made the previous video brawl was already headed to the shitter. They have nerfed f2p progression every possible way while lying through their teeth saying that they have buffed progression. They will cut progression in half then after a period of complaints they will buff it by 10-20% to appease people who dont see that its still a nerf. Rinse and repeat. Absolutely disgusting. Why are pins and profiles and emotes in drops? Even getting a useless gadget or star power is better than that. The game might be in a good place with balance but the map pool is horrendous. So much potential squandered and its just going downhill. Hope the new pl and pass rework are good and they get to fixing the core game which is the maps and social features. My biggest regret is not buying the box removal offer lol. Love and blessings!

the Mega Pig is such a W, man. my complaint is that i would much rather have most of those star drops be converted into constant resources and i hope that having the event once a month won't cause a period of limbo like "now what?". it just feels weird to have a club event once a month instead of the constant and demanding weekly club league/club games(club games were cool tho) also, someone asked Frank "why are the Mega Pig rewards less than club league and are you gonna buff it?" but surprisingly he replied admitting that it is less but also he said "have you considered that we might put these rewards somewhere else?"

I agree, the star drop system is being used as the main source of progression, is not good. It should of been a fun addition to the game but turned into a club league nerf,power league nerf, end of brawl pass nerf, and more RNG in which they seem not able to control fully yet.

The most important thing to learn about the Leadwall is that, while reloading, activating Sword Block, Arc Wave, or using your melee weapon will interrupt the reload. However, after finishing the ability/melee attack, the weapon will finish the last portion of the animation. This only works after the part of the animation where the new magazine is inserted into the Leadwall. This can be very useful to get in reloads in the middle of fights, mitigating the Leadwall's long reload time. It's best to to either position around teammates and punish an enemy attempt at aggressive action or leading the push as a scout/tank to split the enemy's focus, allowing your team to move up more safely and deal damage, if they decide to focus your teammates, Ronin can attack for free. When engaging one or multiple enemies, managing health and abilities by using cover and guerrilla warfare tactics such as popping out from cover, dealing damage and disappearing right behind cover to reload. If you're in a two versus one scenario, cover and poking unpredictably out from said cover is much more important, if the option is available, you want to use your superior mobility and the architecture of the map to split them up by pushing/stringing along whichever enemy titan is faster to avoid both having a line of sight on you at once, arc wave the other one to prevent them from keeping up. If no cover is available and you need to reload, a risky but often beneficial strategy is to arc wave whichever titan can punish you the least when not blocking, and use them as a body shield while you reload.
