Hi,Ade. I somehow missed this DTI holder and box build. I have to say yours is the best version of Stefan's low profile holder I've ever seen. Five star job on this build 👌
you are very welcome Ade. the stuby Alpen cobalt drills are my favourite. work well in a drill or mill with limited Z hight. very accurate holes. enjoy. if (like me, its hard) we can open their box!
DTI holder looks cracking Ade, as does the box, well done. Not fancying the clean up job after that one! Is that you changed jobs then? If so, hope all goes well in the new role mate. Cheers, Jon🏴
Hi Ade, nice work on the box...to bad about the lost footage. The DTI holder came out great. From my experience it takes about 2 months to clean up the last bits of sawdust 😂😂 Cheers.....
The indicator is worthy of the box, and the box is worthy of the indicator. Seems like a harmonious balance to me, Ade! 👍 Edit: my Bridgeport was bought from a furniture maker’s shop where it had been tasked with similar work. It took quite a while to clean the wood dust from every crevice.
Wow, fantastic job with the DTI holder. I think you’ve done a nicer job than Stephan lol. Project for next year. Just finished a power scraper build so I’ll be doing lots of scraping this year. Cheers from Vancouver.
That is praise indeed but not true . Stefan is a God, On another note I lived in Victoria on the island as a kid and still have loads of family in Vancouver. loved it there .
Hi Ade, in the event of a nuclear holocaust, I know where to find a DTI holder. All joking aside, a realy nicely executed and finished box for said holder. Some felt or baize lining would just finish it off nicely.
