Using a slide on a guitar ran through a wah pedal with alot of reverb.....music back then HAD to be good...technology wasnt a crutch like it is today...when you dont have to try as hard the talent and the quality suffers in the end

The first line of the lyrics is a reference to the song "Space Cowboy" from Miller's Brave New World album. The Following lines refer to two other songs: "Gangster of Love" from Sailor "Enter Maurice" from Recall the Beginning... A Journey from Eden. I remember listening to this song in junior high school 1990’s

He got his lessons from Les Paul. I'm pretty sure that's a fact. I believe his father and Les were friends. Also heard Les Paul was his godfather.

I think this music isn't obsolete because there are people like me whose parents played this all the time and it's part of the music I love which I than introduce to my children. It's inherited. The fact that I introduced my kids to Em is maybe disturbing, but great talent is great talent no matter how inappropriate. Doc look at Moondance by van Morrison.

That was a guitar with an effects pedal. Might of been a delay effect. Guitarist always have pedal boards that they hit with their feet and get trippy sounds.

Music from the 30s to the 80s was the best. In the 90s I noticed it started to go down, but you still have some good stuff. The past 20 years the music has been horrible.
