Welcome to The Frey Life daily vlogs! We are Peter & Mary, a married couple in our early 30's, showing the ups and downs of everyday life with #CysticFibrosis, a genetic lung disease that Mary was born with. In August 2019, Mary started a new CF medication that changed the trajectory of our future, and life has changed dramatically - including our son, Elijah, joining our family in December 2021. We also have an adorable standard poodle, Oliver, and a hairless sphynx cat, Harry. It's our hope that these videos can be an encouragement to to celebrate the little things in life and find joy amidst a world full of hard realities!

My husband hoards containers from anything like milk jugs, to plastic containers from food items, like butter. The top cupboard is full. I think he does that because he knows I can't reach it. 🤣🤣😁😁👋👋💖💖 Oh, and don't even let me get started on grocery bags. 🤣🤣

well life is mostly about organizing your stuff and memories. No matter what you have the memories. Having your loved ones around who share those memories sometimes stops if you disrespect them so much that they divorce you is really sad. Being so worried about money and pleasing overbearing controlling parents leads to the realization that yes you have their money but you no longer have your partner of over 30 years who made all those memories with you. My daughter rejoices that I have real happiness and contentment as I live these days in my 70's without her dad who she feels kind of sad for with his new older wife who liked his money very much. Elijah is very cute and you two are thriving! 🧓😹😺🥰

My daughter is t6hriving with 3 lovely kids, 5, 10 and 12. My ex husband and his wife rented a beach house in Rhode Island but only 1 grandchild went to share it with them. Not the family get together they had imagined like we were used to doing with his family that were virtually edicts from on high to ensure you stayed in good graces with the rich and powerful senior members. People value their choices and won't be taken for granted these days even if some call it disrespect and insufficient family loyalty.

I don’t know if it’s a “hack”, Mary, but I use the paper bags from the pharmacy in my bedside waste paper basket to corall all my recyclable medical trash so that it can go in the recycling bin. It makes sorting the trash on garbage night so much quicker!

I do the same. Recycling bin and land fill bin in bathroom. Landfill bin gets almost no business.

I loved seeing baby Elijah eating Chipotle with you. How fun is that finding pieces of what you eat to give him. Isn't it the best feeding your baby and watching them eat 😍 Baby Flint was watching that whole clip he says Hi baby buddy good job sitting in the booth!

I think so too They are a great teaching tool. But you could do cool projects with them too, like albums of the baby cuz without the trikafta maybe baby wouldn't have been an option. Actually you guys are such a gift to us all I don't want to think of a world without trikafta or without babe Elijah! You all 3 seem to complete eachother!!!!!

Mary, I still marvel at how far you have come since the early days of The Frey Life. I was showing a teenage girl your channel today. Her older sister had CF (her sister died before the med became available). I was telling this girl that Trikafta really works for some CF patients and you are a really good example! This happened to be the video I randomly selected... and when you were showing the empty boxes I got tears in my eyes. I thank God for His mercy, His grace, and especially His love for each of us! (You are also a good example of those things!) Thank you for sharing your life and God's love with the world.

Peter, Chevy Cavalier was my 1st car as well. It was deep Maroon color and I LOVED it!! I've been watchin u'all since Scotland and its always fun to hear u'all tell stories that are part of uralls history💕 Elijah is adorable💕
