Some people are just so self absorbed, so horrible, I hope he gets what he deserves. The justice system is an absolute joke! You are an inspiration to others who are going through their living hell. I hope your ex changes his ways so he doesn’t do this again to some other unsuspecting woman, I’m not holding my breath though, because some people are just heartless and actually think they are the victims! Man what a story. You did well get to through. Most of the time its the man that's in your shoes. The numbers of blokes living at home with their parents while their ex Mrs is in the house they paid for with their new boyfriend is crazy. Interesting to hear it the other way round. Just shows how important it is to marry the right person and to keep on the same page through good and bad times.
Just found your channel.I am sure these heartfelt videos are giving other women the strength to carry on. We lost a business and all our money and so I totally understand this. Coming out the other side too, makes me feel so grateful for even the smallest extra money and just the relief to not have to worry means the world. Big respect for you doing this xx

I can fully relate to the debt following a horrendously long and unnecessarily expensive divorce! But, like you, I am through the worst of it and am smiling x

Your daughter is very lucky to have such a great mummy, and she will understand just how hard it was to bring her up while going through all the horrible situations you was in… and I guarantee when she’s older she will be incredibly greatful for everything you have done, you fought to the end, you survived, and your now strong enough to tell your story! Such a sad and difficult time you went through... you are actually an inspiration. Don't think I will ever get married... its a massive ordeal if things don't work out over a bit of paper and a surname.
My daughter is experiencing the same thing at the moment. He won't sign the divorce papers for fear of having to lose the house. She has a full time job, a car she paid for herself and is now living in a housing association house paying all of her own bills. But she still has to pay the mortgage until she is divorced. There is nothing she can do about this and he is spending what she pays on his lifestyle. She has blocked all phone calls from the bank as it's too stressful. As far as she is concerned she's held up her side of the deal so the bailiffs can take the house from him, she doesn't want anything but freedom and control of her own life.
This is literally my story. It’s horrendous. I vowed at the time I would try, once my head was straight, I’d try to warn or help others avoid the same situation. There’s so much wrong with how things are allowed to be gotten away with. I would love to try and use these platforms to do so, and one day be able to set up a charity to help others going through a similar situation. I hope your daughter is ok. It’s a horrible road - One I nearly didn’t get down - but tell her to hang in there x
Wow your story is so Similar to mine. It took me 7 yrs to get a separation agreement then divorce. In the end I owed 25k in legal debt and that doesn't include all the fees I paid during the 7 yrs. I don't even want to know in the end what he cost me. Too depressing. My son amd I lived in a 1 bedroom 360 square foot apt for years just to get through it. I remember counting bread slices to make sure I had enough to feed him for the rest of the week. 😢 I'm so glad you had the courage to make this video. But boy does it stir up some really bad memories for me.

I can relate to some of what you have been through and you are brave, yes like you said at the start it may have some triggers, but hearing someone else’s back story and that you have been through the some of the same things I have, it actually brings me a bit of peace to know I am not the only one and that I can get through the tough times too. What an awful situation you have experienced. I've been through marriage breakdown and separation too (not divorced yet), it's a difficult story to share and I know it's hard to say these things out loud. So pleased that things are on the upswing for you now.

I had a friend who was in exactly the same position and was forced to go bankrupt while her pos husband was living rent free in there previous house ! You keep smiling girl you deserve it ! And those deadbeat husbands will get there karma ! Xx
