Back before I quit Genshin out of pure boredom, any chance I got ingame (aside from the first time), I'd call Paimon "emergency food", to troll her, because she's so annoying to me, and she's pretty much brain-dead too. (Paimon literally cannot pronounce the word "imaginary", even after it's said nearby her, and assumes the Traveler meant to say something else) And this hatred of Paimon is from a person who never found Navi annoying in Zelda Ocarina of Time. Paimon speaking on the behalf of the Traveler, is why the Traveler rarely has any voice lines in cutscenes. Trailblazer from Star Rail speaks on their own, with nobody needing to speak on their behalf. And now in Honkai Impact 3rd's main story Part 2 getting the Dreamseeker MC, once I saw her ingame, she is perhaps one of MiHoYo's best written self-inserts. Despite being a self-insert, she speaks a ton, no needing influence from the player's choices, acting not like a self-insert

@@normalpair I don't dislike it but I have a some reasons why I didn't... First one is that I don't have time to play another gacha game, second I hate Hoyo's approach to their games. Them being gacha games feel like the games are inherently getting held back, another one is that I take issue with the unequal treatment between their games(I don't think it's right to argue they're different teams when the top management is the same).
