Mad eye is super underrated in movies.

Fact I thought of: You guys remember in Order of the Phoenix when Molly asked Mad Eye to make sure that it was a boggart in the drawing room, and not something super dangerous. We all know boggarts take the shape of what scares the person before it. When Moody saw it, there was no one in the drawing room. It was alone, in its true form. Mad Eye was the only person ever to see a boggart in its true form. I wonder what it looks like

It's sad just how scarred and disturbed Moody is. You really get an idea of just how deep it goes when he describes his old Order friends to Harry and can only think to talk about how they were killed or injured. Fighting and getting hurt is all he can think about. His mind is just as scared as his body.

How did it take me this long to realize that when moody's eye was darting around in Barty's head, that was actually moody himself tossing and turning in his box.

Moody died because harry's squad is so strong J. K Rowling had to nerf it.

Poor guy, suffered from PTSD but nobody offered therapy. He was one of my favorite characters but he’s so underrated and has a pretty sad life.

I always thought he was the most badass character that came from Harry Potter. He never backed down, never gave up, never wavered in the face of duty, never asked for anything in return. F

"Harry found it weird being around the real moody after spending a year with crouch, who he thought was the real moody." so relatable. at the beginning of reading the 4th book I already said to myself "I think I've found my new favorite character" and then at the end of the 4th book I was like "bruh."

Theory: Moodys eye was created by dumbledore who had the elder wand and that’s why he’s able to see through the cloak

I felt bad for him when Moody caught Igor Karkaroff by chasing him like Mad and Barty Crouch released him in exchange of names, and he went on to become the Headmaster of Durmstrang.

I always loved Moody, cool guy, boss. I actually respect his “paranoia” given his situation, if I was running for President and was Jack Kennedy’s son for example I’d be paranoid too with simple stuff like my own flask, my own cooked meals etc, when you are a name...you’re a target, Moody was smart as hell

What a character!! RIP. Can’t believe he went through all that. Having someone live your live all the while you’re starved, cold, tortured mentally and physically…all while suffering from ptsd and his past paranoia and still remaining loyal to the order and heading the line 😯 what a boss!

Barty Crouch jr wasn't actually given up by karkaroff in the books. Also Moody is probably the only wizard that knows what a bogart looks like before it transforms into people's worst fears

Alastor Moody was one of the best wizards of Harry Potter. Especially as he is like a war veteran, with impressive skills, knownledge and experience as result of his job. And just like the war veterans, Alastor ended disfigured after his service, physically and mentally, as Alastor showed clear signs of PTSD, much like the conditions that the soldiers suffers after the wars.

Thank you so much you have done for all us fans. You really bring the stories that we all love to life. I go back to watch the movies and read the books with the knowledge that you have given me and I thank you.

Alastor ‘Mad-Eye’Moody is the most underrated character in my opinion. Even after losing an eye and a leg he was still dedicated to protecting people he cared about including Harry Potter.

The whole Death Eater ambush in HP7 could've been easily avoided simply by transporting Harry by car. Voldemort would've never guessed they'd do that, he'd see that as "inferior" to use muggle technology.

Oh my god, I’m going to cry so so much later in the series 😭. I’ve watched all the films before and read all of the books (though I don’t think I read the last one, but it was about 5-6 years ago I read the books, meaning I was like 8/9 years old. I watched all of the films about 3/4 years ago, but again not the last one, I found it too sad. But now, I am rewatching all of the films, and rereading all of the books. I’ve watched the first hp films 25+ times in the past 2 weeks and the second film only about 7 times. I haven’t watched the other films yet, and I am currently reading the first hp book. I’m thoroughly studying the films though, hence forth needing to watch them over and over as to not miss anything. And the books, I shall read each one 2-3 times, the first just reading it, the others making pointmarks for notes. But I will do it one book at a time, and go back through the whole series once I’ve wrote everything I need to. I’m writing every characters first and last lines at the beginning and end of the film series, and shall write a ‘fact file’ on every character I can from the book. My friends have told me I’m obsessed with Harry Potter.... yes. Yes I am.

If you think about it, that means while Alastor was trapped in his own trunk, Barty Crouch Jr was the one that had been torturing Malfoy with the ferret thing. So...

Mad Eyes probably one of my favourite characters in the series, bit of a shame he didn't get much screentime after Goblet of Fire. I wish they would have at least included his death scene
