So tired of people using the word uncanny. Especially not knowing what it even means, such a annoying word. It's like people are just now figuring out words.
Bunny also asked where did her dad go poo. Bunny was absolutely done when the answer was the bathroom. Bunny then asked why she poo outside. Tripped me out. I can believe she is depressed. She has been really done with animal/ human.
She wasn’t depressed if you gave your dog buttons and taught them then they would have questions too. She wasn’t on anti depressants either she was on pain relievers
When the dog said "who's this" then looked in the mirror i dont know but why am i thinking this dog had a passed life or something as a human.....chills
God wouldn't have us come back as animals. The Lord gave us his imagine. The only creation of his that he gave that to. Animals aren't in heaven. They will probably go to the new earth that God creates. Which makes me think that animals might be recycled. I could be wrong. Mankind isn't recycled though. We don't come back at all.
I remember seeing a video where she said "Ouch, Bunny, Paw" with the buttons. Owner called her over, Bunny lifted up her paw and there was a thorn in it. That dog is incredibly intelligent.
It was cooler than that- she has just learned the word for “stranger” and she actually said basically that her paw hurt and there was a stranger in it. Which is such an interesting way of saying that when you don’t know the word for “thorn”
@@gcmerThe fact you think the dog is smart enough to know what it is and then get depression from not being human shows your stupidity not his. It's just a well trained dog with good teaching and skits.
This dog is aware about her surroundings. She realized she’s different from her owner from her perspective, her mother and her family are all different. This can cause depression mainly because now they realize that they’re different because slowly as she was doing all these tasks and making sentences and the mother and father responded now realizing that she is different can affect mental health. Edit: I think I started a “discussion” in the replies…..
@MrFancy699 well as someone who watches their videos it definitely seems that bunny gets anxiety and sad and talks a lot about how everyone is different. The cat they had, and her brother and the new little cute dog that she thought was a cat
This isn't really what happened. Bunny isn't on anti depressants, she has a stomach issue that she has been medicated for since before the talking videos started. She had maybe 2 instances where she seemed to question her existence a bit but that was a long time ago and since then she's just grown smarter and is still as happy as can be. I saw this video last night and investigated only to find that it was blown way out of proportion for views. I shouldn't be surprised at all.
Was going to say, I follow them and the only thing I’ve seen was her stomach issues and her maybe acting a little depressed, because she wasn’t feeling well….but who doesn’t act a bit disinterested when they have an upset stomach!
Exactly! I have a Psychology degree and I've worked in non-human primate cognition at the world's second largest primate research facility. As super intelligent as chimpanzees are, even they have cognitive limitations, so for a dog to be having an existential crisis is a bit of a stretch. Sometimes we misinterpret animal's behaviors, facial expressions, vocalizations, etc, so thank you for the context and clarification.
@@lisamenard694dogs also cannot pass a mirror test. This isn’t possible for the dog to recognize itself in the mirror. It’s not aware that it itself is a dog. Though this isn’t to say dogs aren’t smart.
Reminds me about the chimp story where a chimp was literally raised like a human child her entire life and one day, she was suddenly put into an enclosure with a male chimp that wanted to mate and she became freaked out. She later became incredibly depressed after realizing that she was not human. Luckily, she was put into a rehabilitation facility in the gambia and she returned babk into the wild. Unfortunately, however, she was killed by a poacher a few years later. Edit: I reread her story again and she wasn't released back into the wild. She lived with other chimps that weren't suitable to be rehabilitated like her. And the fact that she was killed by a poacher was concluded by Janis Carter, her care giver who returned back to the facility after a year and found her skeleton with missing hands and a head separated from the body. It was already in an advanced state of decomposition so there was no definite way to tell what had killed her. Sometimes my memory is just worse than a goldfish's 💀 🤦
@nahmyturn or look up the story of Travis the chimp a similar situation but much more tragic in the end, a rich couple ended up growing this chimp for 10+years like a human, would let it dress in kid clothes, feed it regular food, and even let it interact with the local police department. But some years down the road the husband in the relationship ends up passing and the woman trying to console Travis in some way gave him Xannax, which would ultimately end in Travis tearing the owners friend who tried to help into pieces, her face was unrecognizable until there was surgery to replace her facial tissue to even make a face.
The context of the short is a perfect example of how misinformation is made and spread! For context the medicine button bunny uses is due to GI issues. Her mom introduced the medicine she needed to give her and would let her know when it was time for the medicine. Since the dog began to correlate feeling better once given the medicine or recognized the time(if ur dog is on a routine they will ask for dinner with the prescence) So bunny would push medicine to remind her mom or if she felt unwell she would ask for medicine
The medicine clearly wasn’t the point. It was the fact that bunny was asking about herself… if you don’t have any valid information just 🤫 Clearly anyone watching this found interest in the dog wanting to know why she’s a dog. You went a rant about the medicine like that was the point. Clearly you only watched to respond you did not at all grasp the context of the short. Say you just want to be right without saying it. This video didn’t spread misinformation because it wasn’t worth spreading in the first place. If you are running around showing and sharing this video with ppl to make your point you’re weird. Take a chill pill 💊
@@glowdoll183I’m not gonna lie, you’re a sheep. Because quite literally they make it a point in the short to talk about how bunny asked for medicine because it was becoming depressed by its awareness. Not saying this can’t happen to animals but the OP gave you background information to what ACTUALLY happened….
@@glowdoll183They literally started off talking about the medicine and said it’s depression medication when it’s not. Bunny asks questions like that pretty often even asking why Dads a man and stuff like that these two literally lied due to misinformation. The medicine button wasn’t recently added like they said it’s been there since toward the end of the Pandemic. No ones ranting just saying the video is misinformed af because it is…like most of their shorts. Buddy on the right literally started overacting just from hearing the dog takes medication before even hearing what it was for like it’s impossible for pets to take medicine and was barely listening just reacting and both of them are wrong anyway.🤷🏾♂️
same thing happens to humans, ecclesiastes 1:17-18… “And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit. For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow”
yk he was just questioning his own existence. you can say you looked in the mirror as a kid and say "Why am I human?" or "Why do I look like this?" keep in mind dogs have the mindset of a toddler
Sometimes I think why I see myself in my perspective, or what it's like to live from someone's perspective and why did my soul picked this consciousness
Just think about it. If we die and reincarnated as animals... Just think about it rhe flys is people who was shit people in the live and know eat shit. And who was good humen would decide what he wanna to reincarnation. Holy shit.
The fact that we can really train any animal or insects to smart and they figure things out as they get smarter goes to show you that some animals might talk I believe it
I mean t😊here are already animals that can talk. Won't happen for dogs though because their vocal cords does not allow it. 😂 maybe if someone genetically modified a new breed of dog with vocal cords that allows them to speak, but that would be creepy af.
@@zhenyucai8688 naaah man what you doing, why you giving them ideas keep it to yourself xD i dont wanna walk around talking dogs just keep them at that ignorant lvl xD
@@zhenyucai8688I was going to comment on this fact but decided to read the previous comment and you are correct. I keep telling my girlfriend her dog is dumb. Def: Inability to speak but she can't get it through her head what "dumb" means. Sometimes I wish she were dumb.
All animals talk. Tree speak to each other through thier root system. We just don't understand thier language. Mushrooms communicate with each other too. My cat fully understands me. I talk to her like my child and she responds just like she understands. So I know she does. I tell her time to go in. And she goes in. I tell her not for you and she leaves in alone and comes to me to make sure she can keep exploring. Its pretty fun.
You are absolutely correct about the statement made earlier. Fungi unquestionably possess cellular intelligence. Communication takes on a myriad of forms. Animals, including ants, insects, and bees, rely on tactile communication. However, spoken language stands apart as a unique category.
Poodles are naturally very anxious dogs. I had to put my labradoodle on an anti-anxiety probiotic when my older dog passed because he was so depressed. He will also stare into the oven door because he likes his reflection.
Nooooo. Poor Bunny. Dogs are supposed to be goofy and oblivious to help us through. They dont deserve to understand our world. They deserve straight joy
😂😂 what? They don't deserve to understand our world? You do realise some dogs are incredibly intelligent like Belgium Malinois' they are straight up killers would rip me and you to shreds lmfao
Is it not crazy how (what I would call) true communication is the difference between us and animals. Think about anything they’ve taught human communication to via sign language or these dog buttons; they all become crazy smart to the point of awareness. Kinda scary if you overthink it
@@Aceace1991 don’t call them a terrible person, I think they are talking about the reality that not all dogs are treated with love and affection, and if they were to realize what other dogs are going through then that would make it worse. That’s what I got from this comment
@@nashies230 Oh…you mean like humans? That sounds like your describing a human reality. We have no idea what or how this dog is processing learning how to communicate with buttons. Odds are the dog is only learning that certain words produce certain responses from its owner. That being said idk how we could claim to know. I’ve watched the videos of this dog on tictok and idk. I surely don’t think medications is the way to go.
I completely understand how u feel. I think about my baby passing away too :/.I’m not ready. He’s 7 but he still looks like a puppy and is as energetic as ever lol thank God. I know God will provide him a long life :).

The dog could’ve been a human in their past life, and due to negative karma (probably from ab*sing animals) was reincarnated as a dog to experience how they made those poor animals feel firsthand.
It depends on the breed. It depends on the mother and the dad. They probably got a little too curious about their own breed and themselves and gave birth
Example of Fobidden Knowledge on a smaller scale, for dogs just being aware of what and who they are make them deppressed. Well thats for Bunny, poor Bunny i wish he get well soon😢🙏🏻🙏🏻
Bunny is legit like me when I was finally aware of my consciousness at the age of 5 Edit: TYSM FOR 636 LIKES!!!! Edit 2: guys this was supposed to be a joke comment but yall just made it depressing in the replies ;-;
i thought iwas the only one like i woke up at the age of 5 questioning my whole life bc it flashed before me then i asked my mom she took me to the doctors and i was on a depression medication
Well, most dogs are raised from a young age by their owners and since they are pack animals by instinct they automatically think of you as family but of course they have met and seen other dogs with their owners so they notice the differences between dogs and humans but are confused about what they are because they consider you their parents especially when you call then baby all the time. I'm pretty sure the majority of animal species know they are what they are but when they are raised from a young age by another species they are confused about their identity. Like the dog who helped raise 2 tigers in a zoo, those tigers include that dog as there mom and sometimes even act like dogs.
It is very common for big cats to have a dog as a companion. We went to a wildlife safari park and we went to the cheetah exhibit where we could get our picture taken with them and ask questions of the caregivers. The cheetah had a dog companion, when I asked: why have a dog as a companion? They said it was because the dog will not try to dominate the cheetah like other animals would which would cause problems.
For those of you wondering, it’s really easy to set up a board like that so that no matter where the dog clicks, you get the sentence you’re looking for. And if u dont want to do that, training the dog for a specific sequence for a video to go viral is not the hardest thing in the world, especially if your dog and his board are the sole reason people watch you. Just my 2 cents.
Mmm. I dunno. Bunny and her buttons are backed by a university research center. That’s why they started with the webcams in the house before social media. The researchers study her. As well I have a dog named Hamlet (corgi) who’s very good with his talkie buttons. I def had to work with him to train them on what they mean and what it tells mom to do when he presses “outside” for example.
@@Jesusoverworldly ? what you just said proved their point too lol. the dogs press certain buttons for the certain reward/outcome, they don’t put together sentences on their own-they are just taught the buttons to communicate simple activities or needs. your dog has to learn the button for outside, it’s not a keyboard to them it’s more like an interaction menu if anything. Imo if they press extra buttons they probably want attention or treats, pretending they’re being trained so they want a reward.
I think there was 1 part where bunny said - “when bunny end” I found that so sad and that’s why u don’t let dogs talk to you Btw bunny was asking about death Edit: ty for the likes of
I know a guy told me if you be mean to something you become it in your nexus life so bunny is a guy trapped in a dogs body trying to get answers to get out of
The smarter bunny got the more aware she became and then she got into a human brain and got depressed. So to speak. Poor bunny they made her too aware.
Bunny's breed type automatically makes her have anxiety which is why they put her on medication. She also has GI problems so she takes medication for her tummy. She's not so self aware that she's depressed. Dogs are already fairly smart
“they had to give it medicine because it was becoming too aware!” honestly, i think that animals developing a consciousness is one if the most mind fucking things ever yet incredibly amazing. it just goes to show that animals arent just here for nothing, but that they are aware and they do understand; and just because we dont understand how they do, doesnt mean they dont
Fun fact: There is also another story about bunny where bunny presses the buttons “Stranger in the home” and the owners see like a shadow coming in a dark room or something.
imagine unintentionally making your dog this aware. i always think about how my dog’s life is so depressing and he doesn’t even know it, he probably thinks he’s living the best life ever cause that’s all he knows 😢
Not to sound demeaning, but dogs are way dumber than us. To us, sitting around doing nothing is boring as fuck, to a dog, thats probably the time of their life.
I have a poodle mix and she's extremely anxious and reactive. Has nothing to do with her being trained or not which she is not. This video is also false. She gets medication for a stomach issue not anxiety. She also doesn't stare in the mirror for hours.
Well definitely not a depressing life a depressing life is all the shelter and stray dogs if they have a family that loves and takes care of them dont gotta carry about bills that is good
This is why internet is detrimental to humans, back in the day life was what you seen. Now you can see death, money, sights, people living great while you’re poor, its depressing
I’ve asked myself about purpose and reasoning, and the more I became self aware the more deeper I fell into a, what’s the use, so lately I’ve just been coasting along the waves, and hearing how Bunny has become, over aware.. it’s eye opening and heart breaking to relate to a dog who is going through what we humans (could) go through, because if Bunny had stayed ignorant to it all instead of learning and becoming more self aware, life would be bliss.. but in turn to think our lives.. could have been bliss if we stayed ignorant to it all, our spirits in their most purist form untainted by our own self awareness
Ignorance is only bliss till you have to pay the price for it. Finding one’s self/becoming self aware can be a double edged sword because on one hand if you’re not ready you can destroy your perception of reality or whatever life you built on your preconceived notion you thought reality was(destroying or changing a core belief is actually literally like killing a part of yourself/ breaking down old neural pathways). But on the other hand becoming aware of yourself deepens your awareness of everything around you… this is MAJOR. This can mean not falling for societal traps such as greed, etc. This can also mean having a new found love for all things because you realize you and your surroundings aren’t two different things (Carl Jung can help with understanding this concept). I believe that finding yourself/becoming self aware is just a bunch of knowledge. Now what you do with that knowledge, how you perceive it is totally up to you. I mean who’s to say Bunny doesn’t have moments of bliss and ecstasy. Also, thinking about one’s self a lot can lead to self consciousness .Like anything in life balance is required. Don’t think too hard, yet don’t be a fool and not think at all.
Also, if we stayed ignorant to it all… life would not be bliss. We’d be driven by our animalistic instincts not giving us freedom to decide/dictate our future beyond the necessities of life. But freedom doesn’t necessarily come for free. The only reason you have happiness as an emotion is because you can differentiate it by comparing it to the emotion of sadness you feel. There’s this book called Ishmael about a gorilla gaining consciousness and how humans have formed many preconceived notions (about life) that go unnoticed right underneath your nose.
On a side note, THANK YOU for trying to find yourself even though it’s very very tough! Although I may not have bared witness to the trials and tribulations you have overcome in and out of the shadows I hope life shows you that it has witnessed it. That it’s proud of you for coming so far and for not giving up hope. Lots of Love and may peace be with you
He’s probably trying to understand why you would call a dog 🐶 bunny if a bunny is a rabbit 🐰. He’s probably confused….. He saying, “I’m a dog not a silly bunny rabbit!”🐰 😂
Look up the husky that pushes buttons like this pup. The husky would get a command from there human wether it be from the mom or dad. For instance one short video that i saw was along the lines like tell mom/dad im thirsty to bring me something. The husky would then go to the buttons and push them to say "im thirsty bitch, bitch bitch im thirsty." I'm not too be quoted directly word for word I'm saying that the buttons pushed by the husky are along these lines. Dogs are smarter than humans there more compassionate loving forgiving and most importantly loyal. There are instances where mans best friend are intellectually intelligent like there human. Meaning if you got an owner who just has a dog to roam and get taught nothing the dog is a product of there owner. So in layman's terms dumb owner, means uneducated animal. Animals aren't dumb its what there taught from shitty owners.
Because of this button training scientists did a study trying to understand how dog's actually think. They found that when you say the word "bone" for instance that the dog can actually understand and visualize the bone. So its not just training them where the buttons are for what word they could essentially see the word on the button and recognize it. Not necessarily read, but its memory. I just was reading about it so the information is always subjective and could change over time as this is new a hypothesis that they are testing out. But so far the results are really interesting!
If a dog is getting something in return for saying something that’s completely different than a dog saying why am I a dog? Why am I not a human? Why are you a human and give me depression medication because I’m thinking about the fact that I am a dog.
my dog had a really hard time coping with being a dog this time around. when I first got her she would stare at herself in the mirror for hours, especially when i had to leave her. she’s always been hyper aware of herself and her surroundings.
Everyone saying we shouldnt teach dogs to talk or we make them depressed is really missing out on the idea that these dogs already have these thoughts, we just gave them the ability to communicate
As a poodle owner I don’t think people truly understand why they have the title of being one of the most intelligent dog breeds don’t not ever underestimate a poodle I have yet to see a breed use critical thinking skills and be so human like them . They understand tooo well I’d never give my boy these buttons cause I can always see the gears turning in his head and the curious expressions he gives me as if he wants to ask me something so I know he’d have the same realization as bunny or worst and I think it’d break my heart if he found out what pets are and thinks he is just that to me
This video is highly misleading lol. The bottoms didn’t cause anything and they never had to give the dog antidepressants. The where for pain medication for a stomach issue the dog had. And the buttons were to communicate that.
@@keys5595 you’re telling me something I already know I didn’t even mention bunny till the end I was talking about how smart poodles are and why I wouldn’t give MY poodle those buttons because he like bunny could realize he’s a dog or worst a pet because he is highly intelligent like bunny .
Animals normally live in a comfortable obliviousness of natural needs. Food, shelter, play , hunt, and companionship. Humans have crossed the threshold into self awareness. With self awareness comes a whole slew of mental processes Animals aren't designed to deal with. That's why this dog is having an identity crisis
