@@tylersoto7465 If the securitron army includes the missile silos, then yes. Liberty Prime is still just one big patriotic robot killing machine, while you could have a thousand miniature sized ones, spread out across the wasteland to enforce law and order.

It at least makes sense. Lyon's going: "Well without Critical Plot Widget the whole place is useless scrap anyway, so why even risk fighting over it?". Not until you tell them that its no longer useless scrap but a functional... water purification plant... ... see this is where the plot falls apart for me. The Brotherhood is acting like President Eden's secret plan that no one but Eden himself and the Lone Wanderer (potentially) are in on is common knowledge. I mean even if the Enclave turned on Project Purity and cracked the code (would only take a 1000 attempts at most to brute force it as a 3 digit code... though apparently it kills anyone who enters the wrong code)... Oh no, they're providing clean water to the wasteland now! The urgency Lyons and others have about the Enclave having a functional Project Purity just... doesn't make sense. They're treating it with the same ramification that people should treat something like: "Holy crap the Enclave broke into Fort Constantine and got the nuclear ICBM arsenal running!". When it's just... not. And since that's the central conflict of the story that's a pretty big flub there.

​@@hitomisalazar4073 I'm guessing Autumn thought he could have turned much of the wasteland against the Brotherhood with a functioning purifier, and possibly convince many to support the Enclave, claiming the Brotherhood has been trying to steal the purifier from the people, and so on. But yeah, that's a little far-fetched. On the other hand, I wish it was implied the Enclave were planning to kidnap wastelanders and force them to crack the code. It wouldn't be out of their character, and they'd already captured that old man from Megaton.

@@vladimirmarquez2123 Yeah. I always figured this is a case of revisions to the script happening and thus kind of a jumbled mess as things didn't get a final draft polishing. Because the implication that the Enclave is going to do the Fallout 2 plan of Genocide the Wasteland is there. Eden has it. But I've heard rumors at least that due to scandals involving the VA for Fallout 2's President they wanted to distance themselves from references to that VA and President Dick Richardson. But then they never really changed President Eden having the Fallout 2 plan. Possibly because someone decided the main plot needed a "villain" ending to it. Since you had the Good (Kill yourself at the purified) the Neutral (Tell Sarah to get her ass in there) and then... without the FEV plan what was there for token Evil Choice?

@@hitomisalazar4073 well, it's mainly because the Enclave and the Brotherhood are mortal enemies, ever since Fallout 2. Neither would want the other to have control over the region, despite them having the same general goals (Autumn's goals, not Eden's)

I mean, lore wise, it would have made sense to attack their mutual enemy =) Missed opportunity.

Even though the Outcasts are adamantly against the direction Lyons is taking the east coast Brotherhood, I'm sure they're fully aware that the enclave are not their friends and I've definitely seen them have skirmishes in game. I agree it would have been cool to see them sweep in and assist the Lyons' pride.

Pretty sure he will, it's the only one he hasn't done yet and it would be a logical step.

IKR; him being a part of the Brotherhood of Steel’s eastern chapter makes them the coolest faction in Fallout for me! And it’s such a cool final charge to the endgame of the base game.

@ValorJ Omega the enclave isnt evil. They are trying to restore the old world if you mean evil by killing supermutants and ghouls and mutations thats the same thing brotherhood belives in.

@@alfonsklapa3353 Except the Enclave includes "all surface humanity" in the definition of mutation. I mean, heck, as soon as the get the location of Vault 101, they gun down Amata. In Fallout 2, they wipe entire vaults out and experiment on the survivors. How is that a good thing, heck, how do those actions contribute towards a good goal?
