I’m a twin mom, my kids are 2, and it’s the biggest blessing EVER but it’s very very tiring and trying. I don’t want to sugar coat it for you. The first 6 months are rough. PLEASE ASK FOR HELP. I had the most difficulty with that part until I felt like I just couldn’t go on anymore this way. If you’re someone not used to asking for help start changing that because it was also hard for me to accept I needed help. Although I’m very independent, I was in shock at how hard it was for me to “burden” someone else with my “inadequacy.” I ended up getting a nanny to help me and that was AWESOME. Hope this is helpful you’re in for the BEST time of your life. Twins are the most special beings ever and once your past that super hard first stage it gets soooooo awesome.

I don’t know if you’ll ever see this but I’ll try to keep posting it on your videos so maybe you’ll see it. I’m very passionate about this fact. DI/DI TWINS (twins in separate sacs) CAN BE IDENTICAL! Only a blood test can determine it. I know from experience with my twin girls.

Acutually 30% of twins with different sacs and placentas (di/di-twins) are identical ☺ so there's no way to know for sure just yet! You could test them after they are born. But di/di is the safest form of twin pregnancy! Congrats, Kath and Max!! 😍

So happy for both of you ♥ I heard someone say earlier that the fact that you are so worried about your unborn children shows how great mother you are already! Also that you are the best mom for your children and Max is the best dad for your children, there are no better parents for them! Give yourself some grace. There is just so much that you can learn and experience to prepare for something as life changing as parenthood is as well as a lot of situations in life where even the most experienced and well educated people on the Earth don't have all the answers. And even moms of 4 are not prepared for everything that happens during pregnancy and after with the baby number 5. We are all so different during all stages of life. Enjoy this new chapter! As a mom trusting God, leading your kids by the Word and having the best intentions in everything you do is what matters the most and that is more than enough. Remember that even when you think you "fail" as a mom you are NOT a failure nor a bad mom -> your kids think that you are the best mom in the whole World no matter how many times you "fail"! Which I think is so incredible how much love we have for our kids and also how much love we can have for our parents.

Congrats!! The super light pink line is usually because it's very early in a pregnancy and the hCG hormones are not very high yet. If you take a test a few days later, the line should be a little darker because of the exponential growth of the hormone.

My twins were in two different sacs but turned out they are identical. It IS possible when they are of the same gender :) (30% of cases, if I remember correctly)

One thing you should know that I read is that sperate sacks does not necessarily mean fraternal. Identical twins can also have separate sacks depending on the time the egg split. If they split early on they could have separate, if later they could be together.

Question, and I’ve been curious for a couple years when you guys started to get married. You and your siblings have crooked fingers. You inherited it from your dad. Is it possible to pass on your crooked fingers to your kids as a mom? Or is it just paternal? Kinda side question, but Christina doesn’t have crooked fingers, but would it be possible for her to pass it on as well? Definitely don’t have to answer, just things I’ve been curious about :)

God is wonderful! I was so anxious to get pregnant last year. I wrote a prayer putting in his hands my desire of being a mom and 3 days after that I got my positive. I am 32 weeks pregnant now. =)
