BTW the reason Sam and Armstrong were laughing at the end was because Armstrong held out his right arm to help Sam up, but Sam's right arm was ruined, so he couldn't take Armstrong's hand
the actual meaning behind it is Armstrong appears like a friendly welcome by offering him his right hand to pull him up for his new job. However, Sam's right arm was ripped apart meaning he couldn't take Armstrong's hand willingly. Sam had no choice in taking the hand, which symbolises that he has no choice and it's either this or death.
Did you enjoy that Brazilians can double jump? Fun fact: in the dlc sam is 100% human no cybernetic enhancements he is so strong because he is juicing and is based and he is the weakest Brazilian male unfortunately
That first cutscene was like.... oh look... trees, nature is nature, someone's getting fired.... oh yeah, Sam's on his way. It kind of fucked my mind. xD
Well the ones in the Sam DLC are just ballbuster fights, but i think the ones in the Blade Wolf DLC are more varied and fun. Little 2D side scrollers for example.
Remember about the blade wolf dlc, and if you want the best experience, restart from the last checkpoint every time an enemy spots you. because the dlc is built around stealth, the combat isn't as fleshed out as Sam's, and every single enemy can be stealth killed (even the boss, to an extent)
The power difference between Bladewolf against Raiden and Bladewold against Sam is to show how much the difference in sheer power and reaction speed is between Sam and Raiden. Raiden can see through camoflague of cyborgs, so Monsoon uses red-phoshorus granades through which infra-red doesn't see through. Sam is a human with exoskeleton, yet this exoskeleton is mainly to keep him on par with other cyborgs in terms of speed, so that's also why Raiden was capable of dealing huge dmg to Armstrong with such fast slashes, because Sam have to use his katana's gun-sheath in order to replicate the power of cyborg's swing. It was also stated that Sam was actually capable of killing Armstrong if he was just a little calmer and attentive towards movement of Armstrong's nanomachines and could've gone for the heart instead of hand Edit: Basically every fight is more difficult to show the difference in sheer power of Raiden and Sam. Raiden took over a hundred punches of Armstrong and still got up. Sam got hit by a few and was already getting beating of his life
Thanks for the breakdown of the characters! I felt the difference between them both and Sam did feel more human in a lot of regard, especially with the fights being more difficult. Really good DLC, can't wait to experience Blade Wolf! :D
there is another reason for bladewolf being harder. Notice I'm my own master now has it's lyrics the entire time when sam fights him. Blade wolf feels like he has something to fight for in this moment and is filled with hope. I'm my own master now plays for every random encounter after he gets his "freedom" in his dlc. When he has a reason to fight he fights harder which is what Mistral was trying to exploit in the first place. Then we get to him fighting Raiden, literally saying "evade my blows". By the time we get to Raiden bladewolf much like sam doesn't have a reason to fight and hates that he has to This isn't to disprove your point, just to add onto it
To clarify, in that credit scene, he wasn't focused on his arm per say, but that was a recent addition for him. He was focusing more on his blade. Being human meant he didn't need the full HF technology, but now that he was a cyborg(New arm), he could experience all the combat benefits of being a cyborg. If I remember correctly, it'll even say in his inventory that his blade is Murasama, but in main game it's HF Murasama. In that credit scene, he was examining his blade after they upgraded it. To samurai, your blade is your life, and Sam had been using his blade without any changes for years, and now it was upgraded with HF technology. Still familiar, but like his arm, it didn't feel quite the same as what he had before.
Nice attention to detail with Armstrong’s theme not being It Has to Be This Way since the developers confirmed that Raiden is the one singing Also you should watch Max0r’s incorrect summary of mgrr
Thank you Lukasz!! I'm glad you enjoy my silliness! The growth is currently happening, RU-vid is promoting me more than ever, so recognition is on it's way! It's very exciting, glad to have you on the ride with me! :)
He is like that in some regard... he's like Raiden because he uses a sword, but he's 100% human whereas Raiden is a cyborg. Or do you mean, his choice of weapon / skillset?
@@RockyRockhead two things, if you press the button that's normally the AR vision for Raiden, you taunt the enemies, which makes more aggressive, but also much more vulnerable, it's like ripper mode on steroids. And another thing, you can charge the heavy attack in mid-air
@@feeplemurphy4618 oh wow, so yeah... I missed some REALLY big moves.... I don't think I expected them with the dlc only being 90 minutes long... damn. :/
I believe on higher difficulties Armstrongs "Dash" attack repeats multiple times, like when he uses his power to charge straight at you and it's crazy.
It seems like the difficulty comes from the fact that since you have nearly no nanopaste you can't die 3 times in a row but keep going, so you have to properly use the mechanics to win and heal instead of getting to heal frequently with items
That would seem likely, if I was a criminal and heard that other criminals were getting chopped into pieces... I would stop doing crime and get myself a job. xD
Glad that you are enjoying the game. In your own time you should consider trying both the main game and the DLC's on higher difficulties. Very Hard and the difficlty beyond it really change the expereince.
I will likely be playing more of this for myself. I'm thinking of bonus videos where I do a gray fox run, where I have the skin and the blade... and just smash through everything. xD a true power fantasy video. xDDD
Late to the video, but I think the reason the Zandatsu/Blade Mode finishers looked different to you was because Sam's animations for the kill are different. Raiden grabs the electrolyte bits with his hand and crushes them in his fist, and Sam spears them with his sword and then crushes them against the blade.
@@RockyRockhead Sam's dlc is speculated to take place 2 years before the main story with Raiden, since he mentioned about how he has been working for desperado for 2 years, it being 2016 while MGR:R main plot takes place in 2018.
Although it's pretty painful your not using the heavy moves or special moves against Armstrong or Nanomachine is just so hard pretty average gameplay overall
Yeah, I don't feel like I did too well with that fight... sleep deprivation kind of took over during that fight (and I got kinda mad at myself) I'm glad I got through it to see Sam's story, but I do think I could have done better during the Armstrong fight.
You could be heteroflexible, which I think fits under the umbrella term of polysexual and/or polyromantic, which are both distinctly different from polyamory. (Edit): Meme is short for "memetically shared idea", and that's probably what they mean ingame.
