I love when you can look at an antagonist's beliefs, motives, and methods. Like, actually, you can agree with him on some points, and he's really goddamn charismatic. This is pretty much the only case where the final boss comes out of nowhere with (nearly) no build-up, but it's the best part of the game.

Fun fact, every time you parry metal gear excelsus you take 4% damage. Armstrong was serious, that's actually what he wants, a world free of corrupt politicians, he wants people like Raiden and Jetstream sam in charge, of course his way of getting that world is well, "bat shit insane". The blade wolf dlc is all about stealth, I recommend restarting from the last checkpoint every time you get caught. Be sure to pay close attention to the Sam dlc tutorial, because some people just don't pay attention to the text, so they misunderstand the new mechanics. Also parrying is not as important in the Sam dlc. Speaking of Sam, you should try to beat Sam without the parry or defensive offense, and just use the strategy I talked about in the last video.

I just want to say that the theme when fighting Metal Gear EXCELSIUS is called Collective Contiousness and I believe it's pretty underrated :D The whole game has incredible soundtrack but this one stood out to me

You have to stop panicking during time sequences because you actually have a lot of time to press the buttons Also, for Armstrong to stop healing you need to go behind him and use blade mode to hit the back but you need to do it fast and it will stun him and stop him from healing

I loved this series, you can really see how much fun he was having in this episode. Perhaps we’ll see him play the dlc in the near future? 👀

I like the contrast between the two Armstrong sonds. in collective consciencness it's about abandaning you're own freedom and letting the government tell you what to do which is how Raiden sees Armstrong at that time. It has to be this way is about Raiden and Armstrong being two people who have to fight because their ideals are incompatable but nevertheless respect the other one and acknowledge him as an equel both physically and philosophically

Once again, wonderfully done video! This is probably my favorite full playthrough of this game I've seen to date, from your commentary to the engagement with your viewers, and I'm glad I joined in at this time to be part of the ride. You've well earned all of the viewers and subscribers this series has brought, me included. Remembering, the game never teaches you that the yellow symbol near an enemy means you can "Blade mode" it.

That's a definite misspelling by Metal Gear writers. It's supposed to be Shahbazabad, not Shabhazabad (the H and B are misplaced). Shahbaz is the name of a legendary bird in persian legends.

55:19 I didn't know that you can break Armstrongs healing simply by attacking his back, I always tought that could only do it in blade mode I think the DLC is accessed from the main menu simply by pressing new game after story completion, but I could be wrong it's been a while. Also blocking works bit differently in the DLC, but you'll figure it out.

Its been great seeing you play this, cant wait tlo see you give the DLC a try. The DLC is chosen from the main menue after you choose a profile. Not the customize screen. Also be sure not to select new game for Riden if you want to keep your unlocks. Doing so will reset all your upgrades and costumes, ect. The game will warn you of this if you try to do so. If you do want to replay the game again with your new gear which I highly recomend doing since there are a bunch of new swords and other things to find and play with, use the chapter select.
