The Story Of Victor French & Little House On The Prairie (Why did Mr. Edwards walk away?)

Go behind the scenes and learn about Victor French and how he brought the iconic role of Mr. Edwards to life on the hit TV show Little House on the Prairie. Hear the story of why he walked away from the role that made him famous, damaging his friendship with the series star and creator Michael Landon.
I did research for this video by reading and watching old interviews with the cast and crew of Little House. I also read some older online newspaper articles about Little House, Highway to Heaven and Victor French himself. I wrote out the script in chronological order then read it over the picture slideshow - which I arranged with the hopes of helping the narrative flow smooth. Finally I added some background music. I made the Thumbnail using an online program called Thumbnail Blaster.
Please like, comment and enjoy!

It was very lame how he just disappeared after season 3. They couldn't write his disappearance into the show? He was just gone out of nowhere with no explanation when he was a beloved, primary character. It was petty of French to leave over money, but hey, I can understand it. You have to fight for what you think you're worth. But it was a dumb move on his part. He left a sure thing where he'd get less money and took a risk on a completely new show for more money after pissing off fans. But I think it was even worse for Landon to not even write it in and just leave fans hanging like that. Selfish, petty nonsense all around.

REAL FRIENDS!!! in today's world... that measure of love, respect, "truth telling ", common sense, common courtesy, love for the flag country and God... faithful loyal loving men.... you will never see today. Those two type of characters displayed in little house are why women could respect a man. In fact ... this is why women had no problem with submission because really in fact they were equals. Nowadays... men change women like they change underwear. It's ritual and expected and no big deal for a male to leave a female with child. As a result... YOU MUST EXPECT... that a woman now MUST have equal rights to vote work ect TO PROVIDE FOR ALL THESE FATHERLESS CHILDREN!! hello. A woman is left... do everyone's job. No wonder why women have animosities towards the twinkies ( males) today. .... running around in high heels ect. Lmao

Dankeschön für diese Info, ich habe lange geguckt bei Ein Engel auf Erden und der Engel kehrt zurück , das war so schön . Leider spielt Glaube in den aktuellen Filmen unserer Tage kaum eine Rolle.

Big Sky Ranch movie studio owned land where Little House was filmed. Under his initial agreement with the network Michael Landon was allowed to build the town of Walnut Grove for the show with the understanding that after the series ended it would be returned to its original state.

Michael Landon decided to blow it off because they didn't want the set to used by another show and, the owner of the ranch wanted them to leave it the way it was after the show ended.

Carter country was too political and there are too many police shows ..I'm sure Victor French had so much money, he didn't know what to do with it.
