Keep Right On to the end of the road, Keep Right On to the end, Though the way be long, let your heart be strong, Keep Right On to the end, Though your tired and weary, still journey on, till you come to your happy abode, with all our love we'll be dreaming on, we'll be dreaming on, we'll be there, where? At the end of the road!
Just finished Skinners book. Big misconception is that Americans don’t listen to The Streets. Yes we do. ( Maybe because of my English bloodline) but I was hooked on first listen to Has it come to this? when it was just a single in 2001 when I was visiting London. One of my top 50 albums of my life easily OPM!!
My first song was fit but you know it, but when I found The Streets (by the way I'm American too, PLUS support his football club, Birmingham City which is the jersey he's wearing) I heard "the irony of it all" my favorite song by him is "has it come to this?" But all of his songs are my favorite!
I am not familiar with the british life that skinner describes, although I had friends telling me similar tales but overall I absolutely appreciate Skinners presentation of his life. It gives me insight into something that I never thought of previously.
I just watched a 2019 performance before landing on this 2004 one, in 2023 when The Streets are releasing a new album that’s named after a project he’s already done that released an album called The Streets. All makes sense, right? 🧐
Ace bros, I'm from the Brent business in corby, whats worse? Him or her? I didn't know why, she was perfect but from Lithuania, we talk till 12 to 12 yeah
The Streets were the fucking best thing ever off that first album. They had nothing left and mikey just wantedmore rather than write some more goood shite. Classic British. Got a taste and wasted it in a spectacular fashion.
Absolutely terrible set with no effort or life from Skinner and ruined by shit from Leo constantly interrupting. Was so excited for this set and so disappointed. Then came up so hard on MDMA we had to leave!
