Man, you are always killing it at our local lakes. Great stuff. How do u like that phenix feather? I just got a 6-12 lb last week, paired it with a scorpion dc, love it.
Scorpion dc is a nice reel. The rod has great action it can get those lures way out there. I tried the revo x gen 4 on the rod but I didn’t like it. So I bought the revo sx which has a slightly faster gear ratio and I think I’d be perfect for the phenix feather. I’ll be using that for fast moving baits.
Curtis Chavez the striped bass that I caught at quail were caught with lures in the main lake. It was still dark when I caught them that’s why I just showed the picture. I wasn’t able to record.
Cristian Garcia dang you and your family always get it done. Keep pumping out the content and if you don’t mind could you give a brief run down of the lures and how you were fishing them to catch the bass.
We started with jigs. We were using half ounce jig heads with craw plastics. If the water is clear use light colors. If the water is dirty use dark colors. Drag or bounce the jig slowly across the bottom and you’ll get bites. We also caught a bass on a jerk bait. The bass I caught bit a lipless crank bait shad color.
I’ve noticed you got a new spinning reel and rod for your casting setup. You have a ton a quality content. Have you received any sponsorships? With what you have you should be able to get a discount on rods and reels, but you may have to reach out to. Also I’ve been thinking about starting my own Chanel just want to refine my skills more before I focus on recording, if you contact me the next time you go to quail, pyramid or castaic we can use my camera which is what all the major RU-vidrs use with their go pros.
