The intent ability doesn’t actually have a counter. It’s also active, his only weakness is that he has to touch someone to reflect attacks but the intent ability is just the most broken thing and there is no weakness like the basic reflect.

What do y'all take Kishimoto for? Y'all say he doesnt know how to do world building, but did you not read Samurai 8,? Even Naruto has great world building. When it comes to the Konoha 11, most of the fandom think kishimoto forgot them, or the power gap in shippuden became big, so they became irrelevant...to that I say, Rock Lee and Neji both completed their character arcs in OG, they didnt need to be major parts in the story anymore. In shippuden, Rock Lee could've used more gates, but he didn't, and this was by design. Kishimoto even makes mention in one of the volume author comments section about how popular rock lee was, and so he got a spin off series, yet he still didnt give rock lee any major role or credit later in the story, instead he gave that role to Might Guy

The whole naruto was about side characters and their stories. Naruto was just a protagonist who changed the plot's order of flow. Just cuz the protagonist wins fights doesn't mean the story doesn't do justice to side characters. Itachi sasuke jiraya nagato madara obito akatsuki everyone has much more impact and screentime than naruto himself.

Yeah currently whole team 7 have a role, himawari also got one, sumire also got one, and team 10 also seems to have a role in the future by the ch-75 flash forward the only one who are not having a big role are team from sand village and metal lee by manga

@@Nawaf_R himawari already become stronger than sasuke and naruto before BM And sarada can also get stronger than naruto and sasuke by having the most broken MS in the verse which doesn't seems impossible by way boruto is introducing broken HAX + true byakugo seal which we found out to have connections with otsutsuki so 2 otsutsuki level powerup already for sarada in her sleeve and most probably she will get others thing as well which we don't know about and mitsuki also have sage transformation which is said to be dangerous by otsutsuki I don't know about others

If u read the manga of Boruto side characters have a lot more "moments" then u think especially chapter 78

Shikamaru played his role, and had a good amount of focus and so did Sakura, rather you liked her development. But you can't tell me that Neji having his "moment" was enough to justify his lack of role in Shippuden. None of the konoha 11 have been important since OG Naruto.

@@c.l8375 You're kidding right? I just said Shikamaru and Sakura had a lot of screentime. The konoha 11 had more time and importance in OG Naruto (mostly the Sasuke retrieval team). In Shippuden Kiba turned into a joke character, Shino got no screentime and used to be seen as a potential big shot back in OG, Tenten's only major fight was with Temari, Lee didn't get the same care to the narrative of his writing like in OG, and all Neji died without any proper build up. I could go on and on. Notice how you only referenced the war and attacking ten tails which isn't much because it was quickly focused back to Naruto and Sasuke.

His whole life was him being trapped by the curse and putting the main branch before him, he died putting the main branch before him on HIS terms which then led him free try watching with a open mind and notice how you only talk about konoha 11 like they’re the only side characters 🤣

It goes to show that 90% of the time when the naruto community mentions side characters, Konoha 11 is who they think of besides from a select few like Gaara and Killer Bee. Yes, Neji had that narrative of being caged. I get the symbolism but being absent for more than 100s of episodes and then dying makes no sense. He should have had more interaction with Naruto. The Konoha 11 are supposed to be the main shinobi in Naruto's age group. They're promoted and talked about everywhere which includes filler arcs, movies and ovas, the only content they don't get fleshed out in is in actual canon material. Kishimoto's biggest problem was that he introduced way too many side characters of other villages and focused more on them. Kiba swearing to become stronger so that Akamaru wouldn't get hurt again is one example of an axed plot point. Only reason Ino and Choji get screentime is because their on Shikamaru's team and Kishimoto loves him. The side characters (Konoha 11) could have been done a lot better but we can only sadly get what we get. But hey, you seem to be satisfied with whatever nonexistence they got in the story and that's fine.
