For example instead of Boruto protecting Sasuke from a cube, Isshiki grabs Sasuke’s sword and tries to stab him with it but Boruto literally dives under the fucking sword lol. Then just like he shrinks the cube in the anime, Isshiki shrinks the sword before it hits)

boruto haters gonna disagree w this😭... I think that’s the case cuz madara and obito were humans, and didn’t really share these same emotions as these aliens. Like obito still had some attachment to the world, like with kakashi. and was having doubts and wanting to test naruto. Same with madara, he just cared for having a battle, he could’ve finished up everything in just an hour if he went full power, but just wanted to prolong the entire thing just to relive his thrill of fighting again.

Just like with sakura, their mentality with boruto stays for the entire show, yes boruto was a “bratty spoiled bitch who’s a cheater”, but they fail to realise this is the after math of the war, boruto hears these great things of his father being the war hero but doesn’t see it, because his father is a dick, it’s only until the chunin exams he sees narutos power and what it took to get there, in which he changes. A lot of the fans again just cry because the main characters lose, “tHeY nErFEd tHeM” they don’t realise the villains are actually stronger than them, they’re literal aliens foreshadowed from shippuden, where it literally took a whole squad to take down a lesser rank otsusiki, and what more would u expect from an actual top ranked otsusuki who is weakened aswell. Don’t get me started on the “sAsUkE iS oUt oF cHakrA” I mean these same people don’t even know their former series that they deeply loved, people still to this day say “naruto talk no jutsu” “sasuke is a emo bitch” “obito is a simp”. If they don’t even understand the prequel, and the context boruto is set in, how would they come to terms with the sequel? The only valid criticism i’ve seen so far is the antagonists lack depth, and are stale, referring to the otsusukis. But even then it’s to soon to say so, because we’re yet to see newer ones like code, and either boruto or kawaki is going to be one of the main “antagonist” per say. But overall the plot is decent for what it is, and WILL get better knowing kishimoto. a lot of the new gen anime are horse ass anyways
