Don't worry Asaka Takatou is alive and well back in Japan and their dog Nikori too (though he is old in present day). Remember how Daimon Hanakawa mentioned time flows differently in this other world since it is in a lower level than earth (imagining it as a stair were lower level worlds require more energy to reach upper level worlds like earth). So technically not much time has passed since they've been away from earth.

The fallen of the guy who can rewrite his future implies what will happen if Aoi used her abilities (aside from scanning) against Yogiri (basically she would get her death guaranteed no matter what).

His thought process behind it was hilarious as well(in the light novel), he wanted to first kill the gravity but he was worried that all the gravity in his world might stop. He even thought "who am I to say that what's bringing me down is even gravity in the first place?", so he decided to "kill his momentum". The description was then "now that yogiri opened the second seal it didn't matter what phenomenon was at play, yogiri's 'falling energy' would stop, because what died and what phenomenon occurred all depended on yogiri's perception of the death.

When Yogiri was falling he opened his 2nd door (which is his 2nd self imposed seal to his power) which allows him to "end" concepts and imaginary or intangible things such as gravity but in this case his "fall" (which he actually considered while falling but ultimately decided not to because that would f*ck up the whole universe). If you notice Shion's eyes every time the guy "killed her" she actually died each time, just she self revived instantly. Up to this day no author came out to actually create something that would escape Yogiri's power cause realistically it's impossible. Also the 2 cats are actually gods from another dimension. Yogiri killed both which left the girl powerless as a normal highschool student lol

I remember what he does to survive the explosion... Also, he doesn't really get tired by using Instant Death, it's an self limitation. With the opening of the second gate he doesn't need to care about it anymore

When he had all his seals, He wouls get tired. But his seals automatically opened when he reached the limit of the current seals. So if he had 100 Stamina, And the Skill need 1 millions stamina, his own seals will unlock on its own to match the Required Powers.

What's crazy is we haven't even seen his full power. He opened the second out of three doors this episode which allowed him to kill concepts/phenomena like momentum. Makes you wonder what could even be beyond that. Also as a source reader it is inevitably disappointing to see some things get cut but they did a good job of keeping the main plot of the story consistent which is good enough for me. Obviously there is not enough time in a 12 episode season to include every little thing and still have a satisfying end point.

Just for the sheer jokes and entertainment this has honestly been one of my favourites this scene. It seems like it would get boring with Yogiri just killing every threat but they manage to make it so entertaining and funny every time and I love it. I hope it is popular enough and gets a second season

Let’s say that Yogiri subconsciously included her potential death causes as killing intent against him after seeing her get targeted too many times. So he can’t make her immortal but still protect her from being killed.

BRUH,, I lost it when Yogiri's power "litteraly" killed the future of the guy being able to rewrite things to his will. Between that and killing his momentum he truly has no limit. Even his own power (to the writer guy) had to tell him "I made a mistake, thats it for me" this felt like the biggest insult ever on the show !

I like to think of Yogiri has the Harbinger of Death. No matter where a person or a entity is in the world or even throughout time and space he will be your literal end and there is nothing you can do about it. Heck he can even kill death if he wants to. Even death from Final Destination would avoid him and even the Shinigami's from Death Note. He isn't a Human being. He's Omnipotent and he can't be reasoned with. Yogiri could even end the TimeLords existence in Doctor Who and no amount of regenerations can save The Doctor since Yogiri will kill both of the Doctor's hearts before the regeneration takes place. Yogiri is by definition the Universe's end and that scares me.

As explained by literal highest of Godesses " Omnipotence and omniscience are impossible." They are relative in the realm of gods and godesses. One can be more or less omniscient and omnipotent than others but never absolutely. It's impossible, except for one being and only one.

As if we needed even more evidence of how broken Yogiri is. In this episode we really got it but before I start ranting about that. Let me just say that I love how Asaka explain to Yogiri when it comes to beings that are so superior to humans. You can not really apply mortals ethics and morals on them. As they are the ones who need to set their own morals. Which is something that I often find lacking in western superhero stories. But now let start with my rant of how broken and powerful Yogiri is. Like he literally some of Newton laws it looked like here where he just killed his momentum while falling. Which is very powerful ability to kill concept. He was also immune against reality warping as that guy who could change the future into what he wanted. Was powerless to change it so that Yogiri would be taken out. Then he casually killed some cat gods. Who was lending their power to a girl to use. And she was pretty powerful in her own right surviving molten lava like it’s nothing and turning a weak ass punch into a one punch ability. Then Yogiri later also seemed to kill another god of necromancy. Which bring his kills for just this episode to 3 gods, one reality warper. Which is pretty impressive as that was just his toughest opponents. And I’m sure that he will just kill that nuke as well.

Honestly at this point, I won't be surprise if Yogiri can end what cause the death of a person 🤔 Perhaps even the Concept of Death itself? That guy Daisuke will keep surviving no matter what happens 🤣 I hope Tomochika and Yogiri will love happily ever after at the end of the story 🙏🏻 I am so glad that I give this show a chance! Hope it will get a season 2 🤗

I cant wait for the sister abomination to finally give birth only to realize she gave birth to a dead body (at least thats what I imagine will happen) and yeah still trying to figure out a way to defeat Yogiri but still drawing blank. edit: what would happen if Yogiri tried to end himself? sound like infinite paradox that could destroy all realities

Only Yogiri the human would die. Not the end. Nothing can't kill the end because the end is a regulatory force of existence meaning no laws or penalties applies to it.

@@HerrscherOfStars he also explicitly said several times he could kill himself but he won't cause he doesn't want to commit sepukku lol And just before somebody ask no psychological attack such as sugestion, hypnosis, charm, seduction, etc etc nothing, nada can affect him since his power detects all of them as attacks. So there is no way someone can make him commit sepukku.

As a manga reader... sure nothing too important to the plot is cut, 1:57 Kinda spoillers?(not really) but one chapter is skipped in which yogiri kills the strongest guy he has killed since coming to another world and most importantly that chapter was also chapter dedicated to worldbuilding like different worlds etc...

Good episode imho. I'm also still find it really interesting how broken Yogiri's power is with the ability to kill conceptual stuff like his momentum. With just one more episode to go in this first season, I am hoping for an exciting conclusion to this arc.

We know that he won’t do, but Samurai girl not convinced as she believes Yogiri would stay at Phase I at best if he just wants to protect himself. The first thought she has upon noticing Yogiri jumping into Phase II made her think he started to willingly end the world or something.

I think people who are source readers, I was one of them, complaining about two episodes ago was mainly because you can see how badly impacted the whole pacing of the episode was impacted. Everyone including non source readers noticed the pacing was terrible but probably didn't know why but source readers immediately understood.

@@AHBrandonReviews Yeah - three mini-arc, which funnily enough, arguably relate to the same aspect of his ability that hasn't really been touch on were skipped. The "fish" (I never called it that but instantly knew what you meant - its not a spoiler but people who know, know) was one and the other two in a similar vain would be "10 seconds or nowhere to hide" and "eyes". ...and are not the only cut mini-arcs. One of your comments in one of your summaries when the arrive to the holy city was more on the nose then you could have known unless you read the source material. It's a bummer these content were cut but at the same time, except for the rushed episode, I do love a lot of the adaptation they make in the anime. If they had tried to stick too closely to the original source without some level of adaptation, it could have been butchered (like Death March anime was). Given what you said you enjoyed so far, I think you would have really liked the cut content though. I'm still holding out hope they they may some how work in those content later as some of them could technically be seen as self-contained while others would be out of place past this current arc.

I have no words for this episode. It only took five minutes for things to go from zero to wtf am I watching? It took 15 minutes to get me to try to remember how we got here. Honestly the only part that made sense was those two girls remaining allies with the MC. Like when that book guy tried to kill him I knew it was gg. He should’ve just walked away. These are not meant to be criticisms btw, I’m genuinely enjoying the 24 minutes of chaos this episode was and the unexpected fan service.

Wow, this episode shows the classmates in Yagiri’s school are completely jerks to the limit, even the idol is the most in the show, no wait the necromancer girl is the most total jerk. Wall at least Ayaka’s actions are justified. Most of all Sions ability’s as a sage is the most annoying. As she levels up constantly to the point. Talk about cheat level.

Can't wait for Yogiri to kill Sion. (assuming he will and they fight, maybe she won't die-die and he holds back and just tortures her by killing her non-stop until he gives up and ends her), and i don't care about things being cut. As long as it's fun, good, etc. Idc. Idk if you know but a season 2 is confirmed about a few months ago pretty sure, hopefully the studio will fully adapt the series. I think it's 60 or around 80%. I know it's about 13 or 14 volumes, and ongoing or finished. Since DaL currently adapted 16 volumes with 4 seasons. (not fully sure how it works) instant death season 1 will take 2 - 4 volumes, season 2 5 - 8 volumes and so on. however re:zero is at 30 or 40 something volumes with 8 arcs finished and the two seasons adapt probably up to volume 12 or 18.

With the way phase 1 and phase 2 of our boys powers and possiblity phase 3 when that happens when shit will really hit the fan. I think he put the powers on lock him self. since he is the end of all things and nothing is passed him. I think the reason he sealed his powers if he did so he could live a normal life and would not kill everything left and right by accident.

It's pretty simple. Our protagonists want to get Sion to send them back home, but Sion wants Yogiri dead and forces a general Battle Royale. Meanwhile we've got the dark goddess locked in the dungeon being unleashed by Daimon and Lute, with Daimon being the only one who knows the full extent of what's happening there. Then you got Shinozaki's who's killing classmates one by one for revenge. Then you got the Half Devils who are just reunited and going along to find Yogiri because Lain's daughterself wants to. The good thing about the adaption is that while it has a lot of plotlines, its not overloading as hard as it could be.

Still, there is a character stronger than Takato.I remember the debate about the strongest characters has been going on for a long time in the anime community and most agreed on Kusuo Saiki.Because this character literally has the abilities of a mangaka and a screenwriter.He defines reality and can simply override the ability of any of his opponents.
