Dragon Build is one of my favorite ways to play Elden Ring. In fact, it was the first build I made when I played and it offered so many tools to deal with so many different problems, it's a wonderful build!
There’s so much versatility to dragon builds. It was one of my first builds too and loved the variety of dragon and lightning spells too. It’s Probably one of my favorite builds after strength

I have every talisman, buff, same scaling exactly, and everything else but I am getting 1000 a hit at max. Ng+1. I am extremely confused as to what the issue could be and was wondering if maybe yu had this problem. Build seems amazing and I’d love to use it to its potential but I just can’t get it to work

@@HassanAli-fq8ds nah don’t worry, I am a moron and didn’t know you could hold it down for a longer attack getting about 10k a hit, plus if you throw seppuku on both curved swords, it is a real guns nd good build

Dude, please help, am i missing something with the new patches? I am trying to replicate your str one shot build but with actual levels. I am lvl 135 and my str is 55+ plus heirloom +5 and soreseal +5. also the axe talisman I am currently using the buffs in order: Flask of phys(str+charge atks) Dumpling helm Grafted sword buff bloodboil aromatic white mask lord of blood exult commander standard The weapons are the guts blade and the giant crusher with fire affin usually and RKR. My damage is depressing I tried the guts blade with fire affin on ekzykes and the first charged atk did 1/3 of his health. I tried the fire giant crusher on the erdtree avatar in dragon barrow which did a bit more than 1/3 of its hp. i know i dont have the full build but this is kinda sad as far as numbers go. 😢😢

Am i doing something wrong? I respecced to this and im on level 230 or something and the dragon spells ain’t doing sh*t, i have two +10 dragon seals as well, but my weapons do a sh*t ton more damage than the spells

How did you get this to work, I have all talismans, buffs, stats are even higher, but I still don’t get even remotely close to this amount of damage. I get about 880. What could I possibly have done wrong
Already running a Dragon Incant build as a second playthrough, trying to figure out why I'm not deleting bosses like everyone else (or at least, not deleting them as quickly). Turns out it's because I'm just not spamming enough pre-fight buffs, sticking exclusively to Golden Vow + Flame Grant Me Strength. I've been using my Physick for more DR to survive the long windups and trade hits with bosses easier instead of more damage because I'm basically just using Claw and Maw. Guess I need to stop ignoring the elemental dragon breath attacks and consider replacing Flame Grant Me Strength with Howl of Shabriri. EDIT: though I did lock my level to 125 for invasions which might account for most of the discrepancy.
Went and got everything as recommended, rebirthed for stats, but I'm definitely not one shooting the DLC bosses with this at all. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong...
The funny thing is, I was using your lightning build on this run before the release of shadow. And I was thinking if I can do lightning why not lightning/dragon. I'm definitely rerolling. Man idk what im going wrong but my stuff doesn't even deal close to your damage. Golden Vow, Howl, Physik with a maxed Dragon communion seal and my shit just tickles bosses

Hey bud I’d say check out 16:05 make sure you don’t add your own spin to it if you don’t have an in depth understanding about the buffing mechanics of the game. Meaning don’t have Commanders Rally messing with howl (body buffs). Don’t have other aura buffs mess with golden vow, and so on. Also, double check your talismans. Have a true understanding of everything in the game and that’ll help with everything moving forward. Good luck 😊 Edit: Commander's Rally is a aura buff, sorry but you know what I mean.
I was using your Strength Arcane build as a base for a Faith/Arcane build but it looks like I won't need that anymore so thanks! Cannot wait to test this out with my set up
I'm on my first playthrough, having trouble with the elden beast, but I feel like I'm missing something. I have the armor, the weapons, the 2 buffs, the wondrous physick. All fire and I can't even make a dent in the crucible knight if crumbling forum azula. With the scavengers occult and bandit bleed curved swords or with Agheel's Flame. Level 183 and same talismans he shows.

I had a question..could you buff x2 with both Seppuku curved swords, have a Lord of Bloods Exultation equipped, then go about the process of buffing with the cycle, then switch to dual dragon communion seals? Would the effects of Seppuku carry over to the Incantations via the seals, and is it even worth it compared to running either of the Scorpion Charms based on boss weakness? P.S. What's the correct order for buffing? Assuming the above Seppuku/Exultation combo works, would you so that first, then follow up with Golden Vow, Howl of Shabriri, Putrid Pot/Boluses assuming you're running Kindred of Rot's Exultation? Sorry for the thesis statement of a comment lol 😂
awesome video! definitely gonna have to try this - i love dragon communion incantations would love to see a one shot dex based build - im mainly saying this for my fellow bolt of gransax enjoyers out there, but it would also be cool to see stuff like bloodhounds fang and dragon king's cragblade, since dex build get access to some nice lightning weapons.

Ok i found one flaw in what i was doing . I wasnt holding the buttons down when casting these incantations i was only pressing once and it appears if u hold them down they do a longer breath attack and iv been able to one shot a couple golems. I apologize for doubting i wasnt understanding why i did everything exactly as explained but wasnt killing anything

Have 11 clears on ps5. Bought the game on pc to play on my steam deck when I’m traveling for work. Started this build and have been nuking everything. Very nice!

Tell me you didn’t watch the build video without telling me. The video literally covers a 51 poise armor build that can 1 shot most bosses with 3 buffs. Just watch at least a few seconds before complaining

@notsosou3425 I tried it with all the buffs even the ones he failed to show and explain such as blood ex and popping a rune Arc and the most you can get by squeezing out as much buffs is 2500 for the first proc compared to his 10k again the dragon
This build is hands down the easiest souls experience I've ever had. Everything is easy to get in a few hours. Melts bosses. Weirdly the most challenging fight in the game is the malformed sentinel in front of Maliketh because he just interrupts your breath attacks constantly. Switched to curved swords and fought him 'normal'. That's the real power of this build BTW, if for some reason you can't melt something you just pull out the offhand sword and go to town. 100% this is my DLC initial play build!
Guys, if you’re having trouble wrong-warping, or doing the Godskin Noble jump skip, you have other options for getting a Somber 7. They are: a.) use summons plus Scarlet Rot to kill Radahn early and get to Ainsel River Main from Ranni’s quest b.) use lots of Sleep pots + Rot to cheese Godskin Noble at Volcano Manor c.) kill Godwyn plus Radahn or defeat Rennala using Rot, and cheese Draconic Tree Sentinel with poison to enter Leyndell, and get to the sewers for Somber 7 Good luck, everyone

Dragon communion are those that you can buy for dragon hearts and get buffed by the dragon communion seal. Dragon cult are the lightning incantations. They get the bonus from the gravel stone seal.
A very professionally put together video. Easy to scrub through for the information pertinent to my queries and the competency of your graphics make the absorbtion of the information you are providing very palatble...which is important when said information is comprised of mainly stats and data. Maintaining one's attention throughout explainations such as those is not easily done. More than worth the requested like and defintely worth a subscription. I went through alot of fluff and pandering Elden Ring channels before finding this. Fantastically done video. I used dragon magic along with lightning magic the game first came out because they looked cool and were fun but stopped playing after I beat the game a few times. Coming back for the dlc, I'm definitely going to be rocking this
This is by far my favorite arcane build on RU-vid. After ROB and power stances were nerfed I watched so many videos and wasted so many larval tears trying to make my samurai character feel as powerful as she used to, only to end up with boring characters that spam ashes of war, and are only really good at stunning Malenia, melting slow, fat bosses like Mohgwyn, and not much else tbh. Finally, thanks to this video, I found a build that not only did that, but was also actually even more fun!
