imagine ur stalin and having your whole army defeated due an country from 1/3 your size and only being able to kill 10k loooool, thanks Florius, I really laughed alot on this video, you made my day happy so I belive you earn a new subscriber
a little tip: you can puppet hungary, let them compete with you over yugo and annex them later (also might be able to invite italy just before presenting the ultimatum for better chance at accepting, iam unsure of that though)
It's also ok if yugo rejects because you can go to war with them and get extensive conscription and then you will have enough manpower to invade Turkey
You actually don't want Yugo to accept demands because of how ridiculous the borders end up. Rejection lets you puppet Yugo or the component states while also getting resource rights and war reps while Hungary gets nothing.
@@rixorobert You can get the manpower without extensive. You don't do any of the industry focuses, avoid doing Split Czechoslovakia until after Munich, and do the focuses that unlock after you control Hungary. Limited conscription + 2% from the tree is enough to get the manpower you need for Turkey. It's something around 800k or more depending on casualties fighting Hungary and Yugoslavia (though you should beat Hungary through clever maneuvering). Additionally, don't declare war on Greece until after you do the Turkey focus and invade Turkey using one army for Thrace and another through the Greek islands immediately after you defeat Greece. Turkey can't handle two well-equipped armies and will also waste troops on naval invasions in the Black Sea and on Greece.
I hoped you would take stalingrad and leningrad in the peace deal, because that would have triggered a secret event named ,,An homage to love" where you get to rename the 2 cities. This only works after you take the focus ,,All parties must end" if I remember correctly or you just need Carol II as your leader. Feedbackgaming did a video of this a while ago. Anyways great video !!
I wouldn't delete the starting army. There's a lot of xp in that army you can't easily get back since you start off with a weak industry. Instead I put the 22 infantry divisions in a separate theatre with max priority for equipment. I copy the template two more times, the first is set to have max priority on equipment, the second has normal, and the last has low. The second army eventually gets moved from the low priority reinforcement theatre to the high priority one just as I win the war with Hungary so they get some equipment. This way, your first army will have something like 70% of its equipment and the second will have something like 20-40%. The third is unnecessary until you fight the soviets and you need to make a fourth (you can delete later) if you want Turkey. Also I wouldn't do any industry focuses and go all-in on the Balkan dominance ones. 5 factories on infantry equipment are enough to equip you to beat everyone including Turkey. You can return to the industrial focuses once you've beaten Turkey. I've min-maxed the shit out of this scenario and its ridiculous how good your starting situation is despite how bad it may look like on paper. Oh and you can go democratic even under the monarchist path. The democratic reformer remains available and can flip eventually (even with the neutral support bonus from parties must end).
Romania is literally underrated. Because most of dod is trash people can forget actually Romania one of the most flexible and usefull focus tree with Mexico. Thanks for the video
I'd be happy with Italy being unable to get Dalmatia from your puppet or with Bulgaria not being able to justify wargoals on my puppets while being my puppet.
Tip for future gameplay: u can easily make hungary say yes just by putting a spy with diplomatic pressure on it and improving ur relations, this will further help u if u split yugoslavia and only invite hungary
Just a side note: Romania is much stronger now because supplementary budget after changes to customer goods is much less punishing. It used to be -20 percentage points and now it's only 20%.
I immediately subscribed after watching this video! Anyway, do you plan to make a video on how to defeat the Axis as Czechoslovakia? Despite the fact that thanks to the border fortifications, high Stability thanks to improved working conditions and divisions where I clearly focus more on quality than quantity (on each square on the border with Germany, later with Poland, Hungary and Romania I have only one infantry division, which from 40% are towed and anti-aircraft artillery), it is possible to successfully defend the state permanently, but it is not possible to go on a counter-offensive. Unfortunately, since Poland's independence is guaranteed by France and the United Kingdom, and since Hitler will now never attack Poland if he is at war with Czechoslovakia, Stalin will begin to justify war goal against Polish and declare war on Poland already at the end of 1939, which I find absolutely absurd, because the Allies must to fight both aggressive factions (because before that Hitler declared war on Luxembourg, whose independence was also guaranteed by both Western states) and instead of fighting Germans and Italians, they start landing somewhere in Siberia. That's why I always follow the path of the Czech Entente (I don't invite Yugoslavia to the faction because it is weak), so that I don't have to fight against the Germans and the Soviets at the same time. The war finally ends at the end of 1948 when the Axis is defeated, I appropriated the whole of East Germany and as Czechoslovakia I no longer have to fear anything - just watch the Allies, the Comintern and Japan fight each other.
I just did King Michael Poland and then put political pressure on Germany and it delayed their annexation of Austria. I then got Slovenia and Hungary as puppets and sniped Austria. Germany was screwed and it caused world havoc. Soviets invaded Japan and Germany got destroyed. Historical is awesome when you screw with people.
If you don't want to get a frontline with nations you're not at war with, you just have to get military access from them And of course congratulations on your 10k subs!
So what Ideology does ur Country follow? Germany : Facism Russia : Communism UK : Democracy Portugal : Non Align Romania : all the once above since our people just dont have there own opinion apperently
@@chaoticflorius You seem to not be the kind of guy to do that, but may you make a video about the army, how the dividions fight and how you construct them, I feel I have too much trouble with that part of the game
I think the strongest balkan nation is probably still bulgaria. I just love coreing the balkans as democratic or communist bulgaria in 1939. Especially because youll get all of their armies and generals.
On thing that bothers me about this Video is that you did not go for the secret romanian event. If you annex stalingrad and leningrad as monarchist romania you will get an event, similar to the germans, asking you if you would like to rename those cities to Magdagrad and Zizigrad. Hopefully thats something for another video.
When germany atacked the soviets you could just have joined the axis and ask for the german ocuppied territory and hold the entire front with the soviets, because you had the most war contribution in the beginning of the war
Great video, I really enjoyed it. Can you do a Turkey one next? Everybody does the Ottoman path so a Kemalist path that is f4scist or communist would be much better, but I'd enjoy an Ottoman path from you regardless.
Whats the benefit to occupying territory? Ive always puppeted every nation i could for peace conferences and my games never go long enough for them to break off
@@chaoticflorius i'm just not getting enough manpower to cover garrison(need aprox 200k) with conscription laws and all bonus recruitable from the tree
Why ppl always take the 1st option as Romania for 20% consumer goods? U know the 2nd focus tree revise the constitution makes all advisors cost 112P so that takes care of that
