Moorea IS beautiful! My husband and I did a Polynesian cruise on Princess in 2005. I loved Moorea but then we went to Bora Bora!!! The lagoon was spectacular! We went on an excursion that took us out into the beautiful, aguamarine colored lagoon and swam with the stingrays as the tour operator fed fish to the rays! We were even encouraged to PET the rays!!! Of course, one must stand perfectly still while we "swam" with the rays. And they would rub up against us like cats!!! It was an AMAZING experience!!! We also did a bus tour that circumnavigated the island and stopped at "Bloody Mary's", (South Pacific" was filmed on Bora Bora) and fed hibiscus flowers to land crabs on a beach! I would LOVE to go back!!!
We LOVVVVED them! It was so easy to rent, they were easy to ride, made navigating the island so easy and we had a blast with them! Ill remember them in Cozumel for next time!
