Thanks for the reaction. Miho plays bass here. Miho has been in LOVEBITES since the formation of the band in 2016 until August 2021. Fami became a member of the band in October 2022. Miyako's basic musical education is classical pianoforte. Some LOVEBITES songs start with Miyako's piano, for example: "Liar", "Empty Daydream", "Edge of the World", "Winds of Transylvania", "Inspire". Also, at some concerts, Miyako plays the piano before performing other songs. For example, before "Swan Song" she plays F. Chopin's, before "The Final Collision" she plays S.Rachmaninoff's. Haruna's solo can be seen in the songs: "Thunder Vengeance" (Video Album "Five of a Kind - Live in Tokyo", 2020) and "Eagle Fly Free" (Video Album "Awake Again - Live from Abyss", 2020) Haruna smiles and has fun in many songs at concerts. 🤗If you carefully review your reaction to the song "Today Is the Day", you will see moment where Haruna drums, twirls her stick with her fingers and smiles.😊Haruna is called "Little BIG Engine". Do know why? Because she easily plays concerts ( the duration of LOVEBITES concerts is 1.5 - 2 hours, the number of tracks reaches 18 ) at such a pace and no one has seen her look very tired after the concerts.
Swan song is the most successful musical title for me. It blends Miyako's music and Asami's lyrics perfectly. Etude in C minor, Op. 10, n° 12, by Frédéric Chopin, known as "Revolutionary". Symbolizes the fight of warriors and other soldiers The piano chords during the refrain are taken from Etude in C minor, Op. 25, n° 12, by Frédéric Chopin, known as "The Ocean". In some Shinto beliefs, the ocean is considered a place where the souls of the dead can return to the world of the living. At the end, Ninth Symphony in E minor, Op. 95, by Antonín Dvořák, known as the "New World Symphony". Symbolizes the rebirth of the warrior's soul in a "New World" Floating lotus in the chorus refers to the symbol of rebirth in Japanese culture. Swan Song: Song of the swan which symbolizes imminent death in certain Nordic legends, or the flight of the deceased's soul to Valhalla in others.
Thank you for coming back. In addition to Eagle Fly Free cover, Haruna has a little stint in Thunder Vengeance live 2020. It's the show opener and a banger. Miyako is a virtuoso...in other words a musical F genius. This is definitely one of their MASTERPIECES. Keep it going! 🤘
We are having fun doing these, so we will keep coming back, as long as people continue to watch. As always, thank you for your suggestions. They are always greatly appreciated.
@@subfactspodcast Of course! Recommend you do Shadowmaker MV next ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Brmoln5Gxus.html. Original MV came out in 2017, less than a year after they formed. Blistering guitar riffs, amazing drumming and bassline, and soaring vocals! In addition, they look beautiful as they shred your face off. 🙂🤘
Thanks for jumping on this. For your viewers who may not be familiar: Chopin (Yes, pronounced Show-pan, you got it right) was a Polish-born Romantic-era (1800’s) classical composer and piano virtuoso who lived most of his life in France. He is considered one of the great classical composers, specializing in highly technical works for piano. Miyako, who composes a lot of Lovebites’ music, is a professional-level concert pianist, and was originally going to make classical music her career. When she was 18, she picked up a guitar, and is now (quite obviously) an elite-level guitarist. She particularly likes the Romantic Era classical composers like Debussy, Dvořák and Chopin, as well as the Russian romantic composer Rachmaninoff. She composed “Swan Song” using elements of the New World Symphony (Dvořák) and Chopin’s Revolutionary Etude (official name Étude Opus 10, No. 12 in C minor). For this performance, she actually played the Etude as a prelude, but it’s not normally included in their shows.
You managed to miss out a couple of things, firstly she also plays Chopin's Ballade no.1 and also she has a liking to Bach which can heard in the swan song 😊. She also has career in Classical music and she can return to that in years to come!
Miho was the bassist here. Fami didn't join until Oct. 2022 and all the current recorded live shows are prior to this date. Haruna doesn't do solos at these concerts. However, she does do a solo on their cover of Eagle Fly Free. There are some independent videos of her doing solos but not with the band. She does show facial expressions at times especially evident during We the United from the Zepp Divercity 2020 show.
Well Miyako had classical training since age 3 (Midori started at age 2) and was going for a career as a pianist till she started teaching herself guitar at 18. Midori left college at 20 to learn guitar at an elite music school. As for Haruna, she has a ravenous fan base. Never say anything bad about her or they will hunt you down and tie you to her kit for the beating of your life LOL .Marathon runners wish they had this band's endurance and fighters wish they were as fast and hit as hard as Haruna. Miho the founder is on bass, for us who have been with the band from the start it is always bittersweet to see her in videos. There is no LB without her and her vision of a Japanese band that plays more European Metal and sings in English is on display in everyone of these videos. The Wolfpack is grateful to her and so happy that her dream to play at Wacken Open Air Festival was realized so quickly with this group. This and Frozen Serenade where Midori does the acoustic guitar are masterpieces that show off the insane talent in this band. If you want a more fun side try Scream for Me LIVE and watch a guitar war that is completely nuts, the M&M show at it's best.
@@subfactspodcast Here is some background that I hope interests you. In 1975 a gentleman named Hisatake Shibuya opened a guitar shop in Tokyo called Electric Sound Products. The shop was primarily to sell guitar parts but soon began making guitars under the ESP brand. The US operations for ESP started in NYC but later moved to Los Angeles. In 1994, Hisatake Shibuya bought a Los Angeles music school called Musicians Institute and then created such schools in Japan. Midori attended the Musicians Institute in Tokyo and now exclusively uses ESP guitars. In fact I believe she has built some of her ESP guitars with students at the Musicians Institute. Just as Midori is very loyal to ESP, Miyako is very loyal to Dean. Miyako is the only female Signature Guitarist for Dean (out of 13) and also the only one from Japan.
The M/V for "When Destinies Align" by LOVEBITES is totally awesome!!!!!!!! Another band to check out is all female band from Korea named "Rolling Quartz". They are touring in the states next month!!!!!!!!!!!!
The bass player is Miho. There are only 3 videos where you can see the new bassist Fami playing with LOVEBITES bass. I'm afraid for us non-Japanese fans this will probably stay like this for a while longer...🥴
I love all 5 members of LOVEBITES equally. ...is said in words. But deep down in my heart, I actually respect Miyako the most. I tried to summarize the points that I highly value her. 1> She learned to play the piano when she was 3 years old, and has continued to improve her skills until now, 30 years later. 2> She started playing the guitar at the age of 17 and mastered it by herself. And she didn't ditch the piano for the guitar, she's a pro on both instruments. 3> In order to establish the music of LOVEBITES, she thought that the same level of playing skills as Midori was necessary, and she trained and realized it. Her latest album proves it. 4> And her biggest point. She composed many high-quality songs that prove her musicality... EMPTY DAYDREAM, SWAN SONG, SET THE WORLD ON FIRE, Soldier Stands Solitarily, DYSTOPIA SYMPHONY, Lost In The Garden, Shadowmaker, Stand And Deliver...etc. ---------- from Nippon *It is a sentence using Google translation. I hope I conveyed my intentions correctly.
first time i have gotten to comment first the to a reaction lol the rest of the wolfpack will show up soon enough and fill your comments section with info and corrections lol enjoy the ride dudes
Miyako grabbing her pick off the piano at the end of the intro for some reason just seems so bad ass for some reason (maybe just knowing what she's about to do !!)
Here's a link to the only song I know of where Haruna has a solo also Miho gets a solo in it as well as Miyako and Midori plus Asami shines on her singing Eagle Fly Free (Helloween Cover) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-To21HILZvYE.html
The Chopin piece performed by Miyako (guitar/keyboard) as the intro is "Etude OP10, No12", known as "Revolution Etude" In 1831, an uprising of some officers and civilians against the Polish government under the de facto control of the Russian Empire, dubbed the "November Revolution", failed due to the direct intervention of Russian forces. Chopin is informed of this news during his travels. he lost his place to return to. When the Russian army invaded Warsaw, Chopin's agents released "Etude OP10, No.12" in Paris. People called it a "revolutionary etude" because of the agent's exaggerated promotion of the song. Miyako composed "SwanSong" with reference to this "revolutionary etude" and Dvorak's "New World Symphony". Former ballerina Asami (vocals) wrote a poem inspired by Norse mythology and "Swan Lake" based on the historical background of "Revolutionary Etude". "SwanSong" is a requiem dedicated to the warriors who fought to reclaim fatherland, a masterpiece that only LOVEBITES can complete. P.S. Miyako will make her solo debut as a pianist on June 21 with the EP "Etude Op.23 (Etude of Awakening)".
The only solo Haruna has is about 4 seconds long in their cover of Helloween's Eagle Fly Free: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-To21HILZvYE.html
Oh! That was a good video. Lovebites will never disappoint you. Every their song that you are listening becomes your favorite, even if you are backing to the previous their songs - they become your favorite. Every time! :) By the way, it wasn't Fami on the base. It was previous base-player and the founder of Lovebites - Miho. She is a wonderful musician! Currently, she is in all the live videos on RU-vid. All their songs are really different, but if you want the same experience (like in Swan Song) try the song "Frozen serenade". If you want to hear a small (but really cool) solo on drums, try the song "Thunder vengeance" on their RU-vid channel. Thank you for your reaction! More Lovebites on the channel!
