@@jflores85 Whenever things don't go the way we want is because there is something we don't know. Jobs are supposed to be temporary. Eventually, everybody should be in business on their own. Ever thought of writing a book? Once you get the royalty income, you use it to invest in other income producing assets. Eventually you will grow to where you want to be. But the mistake that most people do is getting married before building their money machine and protecting it with a trust. This leaves their finances vulnerable to any bad decision coming from the spouse, usually, emotional spending and divorce. That seals their fate.

Hi Antonio, fellow Eagle here. So i am in the OA as a Brotherhood member. The OA was always nice, but it depends how active your council’s OA Lodge is and what they do. Aside from that, something im not sure if u knew about from Scouting: Eagle Palms. When u get more merit badges as an eagle, for every 5 per 3 month period i think it is, u can go for a Palm. They start off as Bronze, then Gold then Silver, but part of the issue these days is most scouts wait until the last minute to complete their Eagle BOR, and never have time to achieve a Palm. As it was, i made Eagle in February, and only could qualify for a single Bronze Palm, which i tacked onto my Eagle Medal’s Ribbon like some cluster for an award when i was in the JROTC. And while the OA is nice, idt its that big of a deal as ppl make it out to be. It could be argued that to take time out to be involved in OA lodge business and the leadership there, while beneficial to ur image as a scout and helping the community and all, can take time away from the MAIN FOCUS: Making Eagle. Cuz like i said, most scouts take until the last minute to finish Eagle, so less distractions i suppose, the better. But to tie this to the rest of the video’s discussion, i think the journey of becoming a man is not just accepting the responsibility but to develop character. Scouting does that, and both that and ur Marine Service did that for u even further. Philosophically, as i am a history/philosophy major, it is our experiences who make us who we are. One defining thing that happened in my life was when my best girl friend, my first kiss and someone i genuinely cared for, died from drug addiction. The worst part was for the last year of her life, i didnt really hang with her as much anymore cuz i went out without my shitty flip phone once back then and my mom was wondering where i was and didnt want me hanging with her anymore. It worked out i guess in that i never got pressured to use. She would often cut class tho when we had Gym together in my Junior (her Senior) year of HS. I was only there until December when i got sent to BOCES bc of someone bullying me with some fucked up rumors and the fallout of it (another major turning point in my life). But we reconnected late that April, she told me she was in rehab, and then fast forward another month, to June 1st and she died. The worst thing is thats a week before my birthday on the 9th. So for several years (this year makes 11 shes been gone), i would always feel bad about celebrating it and get depressed. Its taken me time to cope, but Arthur Schopenhauer once said “Mostly it is loss which teaches us about the worth of things”. That loss still affects my relationships with ppl, and i try to remind myself about how fragile life is. Yet i still take my life for granted sometimes…. Oh well.

I become men at August 2021 at age 26. I had to end things with very kindly with a woman I know and was friend for a long time. Because it was right and must thing to do. I realized the difference of being kid at age 18-20s and being a man with honesty and doing right things even when it's wasn't pleasant. I looked at time and I realized it was time to grow up. It was time to end being nice little boy and doing right things that even tho it will hurt people you care the most. I realized the energy inside of me and realized "it was about time". As Quote: "A man does what he must - in spite of personal consequences, in spite of obstacles and dangers and pressures - and that is the basis of all human morality." - Winston Churchill.

When did you become a man? Personally I don't like these types of questions because in my opinion, you become a man when you turn 18. It's at that age you can be on your own. You can sign up and join the military or go to college. You don't need a legal guardian. You said you moved in with your aunt at the age of 16. In my opinion that made you responsible, but not sure it made you a man because even though you took on more responsibilities and you were essentially the man of the house, you still needed a legal guardian. In my opinion the question should be, what kind of man are you? We are all men. What kind of man depends on life experiences and how we react to them.

I remember very well. Had just moved to a flat after leaving my girlfriend. On a limited budget, I had to choose between an (at the time) huge 50" plasma TV or a washing machine. I stunned myself and everybody else by buying the washing machine... That was the day I grew up and became a man. Oh, and leading men in combat helps. But mostly, it was the washing machine.

Honestly guys, you become a man not when you noticed that you have a pecker, but when you start to think like a man in a mature fashion and you have the right attitude and the right approach to life and you do what your intended to do for the greater good of you and those around you. it has nothing to do with how big your package is or how many women you can convince or how you dress, it's all mindset guys, in my honest opinion.

I moved out around the the age of 21 to 23. I started working at 25. In my opinion I became a man the day I moved out and started taking responsibility over my life and began studying. Up until I moved out I lived at my mom's place, my childhood home, in the same room I had since I was a child. I skipped highschool to play games instead and life felt pretty hopeless. One day I had enough and so I went out looking for friends. I met this woman and she helped me through so much. No matter what she was always there for me. After a few months we started having feelings for each other and one thing led to another and now 12 years later we have two kids, we're planning to move in to a bigger house with two floors and several bedrooms. Most importantly, I finished school, I have an education and a really good job I like a lot. I worked hard to get here but I would have been nowhere without her. Anyway, when I turned 21 and began the journey to where I am now, I became a man.

I remember when I became a man, it was in the army. In Finland all men have to go in the army. When I was younger I was great at explaining why nothing is my fault and I often got away with a lot of crap. I tried this in the army when I miss behaved and my superior cut me of and yelled to my face " I don't give a f**k about you're explanations" That was important momen't in my life, to realise that words don't matter, but actions do. I was also given responsibilities and no one was watching me if I do them, but if I didn't I was screwed.😂 In Finland we have a saying that army transforms boys to men and that is often the case.

I became a real man when I realized: 1) None can make me responsible for anything if I don´t want to. Instead of saying "yes" or "no", I can just walk away. 2) Courage is for idiots, you have to simply setup the situations to avoid the need of courage. Depending on courage is like depending on hope. A fool´s bet. 3) You cannot overcome or control fear, as fear is a paralising emotion. If you are not paralized, is not fear what you are feeling. 4) There´s no resilience. There´ll be a day when something will throw you in the dirt, never to get up again. Deal with that. 5) There´s no heros in the Armed Forces. Specially when you belong to the biggest, more equipped and better trained army in a contry impossible to invade and you are paid to smack some starving burka guys overseas.

Being a man is a building process and no, losing your virginity doesn’t make you a man as I’ve seen folks who lost their virginity before me still act like a spoiled brat.😤 🤜 but anyway… Since I was 8 I learn some things I had to teach myself but when I was ten my mental process is waiting for me to get my own place. As a teen I quickly had to learn to be a bit more realistic about a lot of things even though I hated reality. Long story short, my parents split up and my mom got ill. I hated that I was faced with the choice of being a kid vs taking responsibility to keep the house going. I didn’t want that discipline at the time. However, when things started to get serious once money problems started to interfere with even the small stuff, I had to draw the line somewhere. I started to take a job that to be honest, I ended up hating but had to tolerate. My mom never fully recovered from her illness, but she stood up despite it. I slowly began to put things together and realized what that discipline meant. I should have learned it even before high school. The childhood impulse’s although not as presence during my teenage years wouldn’t let me understand when the opportunity was presented to me, where by creating decisions that to this day make me wonder what was wrong with me. Nowadays I feel like I’m still growing. The discipline doesn’t stop because you think you figured everyone out. Life loves to throw a few curveballs here and there when you least expect it. This is only the surface version since I don’t want to get too deep more than it needs to be.

you start becoming a man when you stop listening to society's standard of "becoming a man" and just be yourself, improve yourself. society standards only creates insecurity that is why alot of guys get depressed because they felt different and faking themselves up until they get me tal breakdown. masculine and feminine is a personal preferences, just be yourself and don't let weak insecured fragile masculine boys dictate who you should be as a man.
