The Summit at Swinley Forest!

Myself and ‪@TomCardy‬ went to check out the new Summit at Swinley Forest! I have been to Swinley a few times to ride the blue and red trails and have seen them building this awesome section every time I go past. Today was the day we both went to try it out! They have awesome features here which start at the fundamentals area for beginners to perfect the basics. It then goes to the dual slalom, enduro line, loam section, drops, and the red and blue jump lines! If you haven't already check out their website to book on to a session!

Hi Kara, Glad to see you have discovered The Summit at Swinley. I've been there several times and, like you say, it's a great place to dial in the basics, and progress to the next level. I was exactly the same on the drop line. It took me several runs down, but eventually I got the last one. You are right about it being mind over matter. Great riding, and a great video. Well done.

I had no idea that what the summit had to offer. From the path all you see is those massive drops and I thought sod that. I wana go in now and play!

Great vid. I was there on Saturday in the rain and wind with a couple of mates. Got completely soaked through and grit in places God never intended, but had an awesome day. Surprised how many mtb'ers were there given the atrocious weather lol

You have to get a membership if you would like to ride, however I do think they have non member days occasionally so keep an eye out!

The landing for those drops is flat, it looked like Tom nearly lost his teeth on the landing! Is it true you have to pay to ride in that area? Good video as usual!

Michael Campbell it is 100% worth it especially for developing skills for egsample the drops go from 12 cm to 12 feet

Not riding a heavy ass ebike would help your riding. I test rode one out of curiosity and hated it. Yes it's great being lazy (which I am) up hill but OMG going down hill it ruins all the fun, heavy steering just felt terrible.
