Unused/non-existent warp goal designs: Some worlds only have blue goals, no green or red ones. Some like the SMB1 artic world appear to have green and red versions that go unused (you can see this in some SMB2 mods as apparently they're in the sequel's code as well), whereas others like the bonus stage worlds and SMB1's Master world flat-out don't exist, I think. The SMB1 desert world had a green goal in Deluxe but no red one. Deluxe stage name changes: Some SMB2 stages had there names changed because they clashed with the names they gave the SMB1 stages. For example, "Bowl" from SMB2 was renamed "Rising Inclines" in DX because SMB1 Ad 12 was named "Bowl." Other Super Monkey Ball announcers: SMB1-2 have different announcers for different languages. In addition, the original SMB2 (and I believe also DX) had a similar female announcer for the Japanese version. SMB1 plot in Japanese manual: Apparently in the Japanese SMB1 manual, there is a story about GonGon raiding Jungle Island and Aiai having a dream about getting to "Banana Island" (the Master world). It's on the Super Monkey Ball wiki page for SMB1. Lastly, for the final entry about Sonic Adventure's city being in the whale, at the end of SA1, the main city location (Station Square) is destroyed and flooded by Perfect Chaos. Since its fate is left unknown, my theory is that the Whale world in SMB2 contains some remains of Station Square which may have been swallowed up by the whale. It's a theory but I wouldn't be surprised if that world was created as a nod to an earlier Sega game.
On the Purple Goal, it never appears ingame, it was just a joke among the community about a super secret warp goal that takes you to the end of the game, back before the wrong warp glitch was discovered
14:59: incorrect. Goober13MD has explained in one of his videos that in the Japanese version of Super Monkey Ball 1 you still have to beat beginner and advanced without losing a life to unlock their respective extra stages, only having ti beat beginner and advanced without a continue in the Japanese version is just a false rumour. Besides that factual error though (which honestly I think would be easy to make if you don’t have any access to the Japanese version of Super Monkey Ball 1) This is still a good video and it is nice to see that other people are now making their own Super Monkey Ball iceberg videos, and it’s not just me who has done it.
(Also the way that “TROMBONE!?” Is spelled on the iceberg says to me that that entry on the iceberg refers more to a line said at the end of Nathaniel Bandy’s video on the Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz mini games “ TROMBONE!? TROMBONE WHAT WHAT COULD TROMBONE BE!?”)
