that quiz at the end really puts into perspective frontline logi

As someone who also really likes supply running, my dream has always been for a CB radio feature to be implemented. Some of my favorite moments of driving were done while I was in Discord/squad chat hangs with other drivers, but I had to seek them out. Imagine controlling a CB radio with the mouse and talking with local regions or bases while driving with your WASD. Peak MMO gaming.

I find driving logistic trucks to be quite soothing, almost like EuroTruck Simulator. It was so calm until a machine gun burst next to the road made me dropped my can of coke into the keyboard.

Dude that end quiz is wild because I literally made a test for my officers a while ago and a couple of the questions were essentially the same thing. To make sure anyone becoming and officer understood the importance of logistics to the frontline and how to prioritize it. Very funny and validating to see it being done outside of my own situation!

Oh damn I never do midline logistics. I always deliver from backline to frontline. Though when i need to go suddenly I'll go to a nearby storage depot and store my items publicly, and i usually get 3-5 commends. My favorite part of logistics is when a front need for example shirts or basic guns, i always love how the soldiers greeted me and say thanks with commends as well

I don't mind delivering logi, but damn the queues. If I have a container full of supply, I should not have to wait 30 minutes in a queue after already driving 15 minutes.

I have a tip for those who want to load containers from public stockpiles, especially from the seaport. Try not to load them from the crane at the seaport cause you will be using one crane and one pad for quite some time. What you should do is get a container and drop it beside the crane then grab a truck and use 4th or 5th slot of the seaport to grab and submit items. Don't forget to use shift+e. This technique has a lot of steps, but it will help decrease the congestion at the seaport.

Another tip for new players fighting at the front. PLZ don't place map posts on BBs and other spawn points, it blocks players from hovering over the spawn point to see what items are low.

Logi feels like ìts next on the overhaul. Mainly with the new changes to facility need some way to assemble crates in a facility with something like a crate gauge train to pull them (because you can't do it on foot and truck access might be tricky) and crate transfer station. Think trains need a big revisit, but that is a whole other ramble.

One thing Foxhole needs is bigger roads, the road size compared to most vehicles is crazy

I was the logi player who solo grinned for like 5-7 hours a day so my squad could mess around with tanks for like an hour or two. I would also double as the driver because no one else in the squad has spacial awareness and I don't want all that work going up in smoke in the first 10 minutes of combat. I think we only ever lost like 2-3 tanks in combat during the one war we played, most of the time we end up running out of ammo. I also learned that I couldn't keep anything outside the factories because people who wont take the time to get mats will just steal it from your base. Also logi during winter was hell, especially when people kept locking out the trucks at the depots.

Nothing quite like that feeling of efficiency by delivering bmats from a midline refinery and taking frontline salvage mine scrap back. Big pro tip for folks in the backline with not a whole lot of time is to scan around for light rail trains and use them to load the refinery much faster, also everyone in the hex will appreciate making radios and wrenches for the townhall. Support your fellow logi!

Another thing to consider the scale of the battle. If there are massive multi-regi ops going on and burning through 700+ shirts per hour a healthier amount of shirts in the main base (relic or TH) would need to be higher, around 500 or more. You can usually confirm through foxholestats or your preferred foxhole api provider.

I was a truck driver when I was playing the game and I love it! specially when delivering all the goodies to the front line guys. All the cheers and lovely words was what made me going. And the rp part was also super fun. lots of hitchhiker along the road and I'd chat with them.

As a frontline fighter who also gets the logi bug, I like to bring lunairs / nades when I can't think of anything else they need. So useful. That test at the end was cool though!

Backline login is my favorite. But I also do a decent amount of midline, midline really is one of the least glamorous yet most overlooked logi role. It can make a HUGE difference to the front line. You arnt just supplying one Base, you're supplying the entire hex, and reducing the number of front line logic drivers needed to properly supply the hex

Great video Robert!It also always good to check the intel around the base you are supplying. For example, in the last base i would have brought mammon and tremolas. They was a lot of warden structure around and it seem in the intel like they where pve stuff .

Base #3 would have gone with 7.62, Gas nades, and Bomastones as its a bridge battle. Others would be landmines and AT (I'd recommend a well placed ISG with plenty of ammo in nearby crates) in case of tanks. whenever I played and was stationed at a bridge these were usually the main things the few people you'd have guarding it would need imo.

I can see this game is realistic. You really never get medal for bringing supplies to the spot. Not even when those supplies won the war. Luckily we don't do it for medals.

As somebody that does not leave Seaports unless it's in a Freighter or train, I found my place in FMAT really quick.

They need to add a radio to logi trucks to make it more fun

What I love while doing frontline logi, is busting through to the bunker base with music blasting through my mic in hope of boosting troop morale. Eg. John Lee Hooker's Boom Boom or Toto's Hold The Line. I've got a 5 hours playlist dedicated to it. In fact that's why I love driving a truck in Foxhole : the car radio.

My main runs are full loads from the back to the very front with my friends, it may not be super efficient but I enjoy the effort and payout.

Ah, how I miss the good old days when Viper Pit was the centre of Warden logistics, and Kirknell had the most HORRIFIC traffic jams because the damn place was such a three dimensional maze...

I mostly play logi yet I learned something new today. Yet, I haven't been able to do a proper Frontline run. Bases are usually gone by the time I am ready to supply them 😅. And if only public stockpiles had some love from the greedy private ones. Now I want to give midline logi a try. That would be a nice change from backline logi! Also, great vid ❤!

Logi was my favorite part of foxhole, I spent all of my time doing it. But I quit before the map updated into hexes, and now there's trains and so many steps to logi that it seems too overwhelming to come back

Okay, okay, I have to try this game. It's much MUCH deeper then i expected!

I do all kinds of logistics. Backline, midline and frontline. Albeit that this war I drive logistics from backline all the way to the front and stay to fight or do more logi if the players have more direct requests. I used to do train logi, but it just takes so freaking long if you're pulling shipping containers. Especially if you're doing it from public. Not to mention how invasive trains are on a logi town. I wish more people would make logi lists though, because they have been lacking in war 112. Sometimes I stare at the map for at least fifteen to thirty minutes to pick a bunker base that requires logi I have the supplies for. When doing logi I also consider the intel around the supply point to determine what they need. More enemy vehicles, for example, means that I am going to prioritize AT logi if they are low even if their shirts are at 150 or so. I can always do a second delivery if the nearby depot has shirts. If no nearby depot has the supplies I require I will have to drive it up directly from the backline and that changes what supplies I will bring to the supply point. One of the most frustrating things about logi in Foxhole is how difficult it is to effectively communicate with other logi players sometimes. I frequently see bunker bases oversupplied to ridiculous levels with >700 shirts or >1200 plasma all that kind of stuff. Even if you're saying you will do a delivery I think many logi drivers will still drop off their truck load to feel as if they haven't wasted their time driving up to the supply point. Which is understandable of course.

I also will watch frontline streamers and try to get a idea of what is needed. I enjoy all areas of what this game has to offer. I might spend a whole war doing a singular thing or play a more, everything approach, the next war. But I like midline to frontline logi and frontline tank support, bringing fuel and ammo to tanklines.

feel like it really depends on the situation. some really hot front lines go through 200 shirts in less than 15 minutes

at weathered halls when the collies were raining down metal rain, the bb i was in went through around 20k Bmats in an hour and a half

Base 1 I'd probably bring 2 crates of lmgs, one crate of rifle ammo, a crate of gas masks and a crate of filters with 10 crates of shirts, its already got ammo for the lmg and a few rifles already are there, is obviously being used by some kind of tank element as resupply while running low on masks, and is running very low on shirts while having no usable small arms plus ammo package already present. Base 2 I'd bring 3 crates of venoms, 2 crates of banes and 4 crates of stickies and 2 crates of recon uniforms just because its getting rolled over by armor and nothing else matters. I would also bring 1 crate of medic uniforms, 1 crate of first aid kits and 1 crate of surgical kits because they ran out. Base 3 I would bring 3 crates of wrenches and 12 crates of bmats because they just took the town and need wrenches to remove mines and vehicles and a lot of bmats to establish new bunker bases and hold.

Great vid Robert! I did a write up of logi for new t#C players that breaks it down in the same way! backline, midline and frontline. Super appreciate the quizzes at the end, it helps reduce oversupply (personal hint: I use the windows snipping tool on a 5 second timer to take a screen shot of the base supplies on the way back, that way by the time im at the depot i know what to pull). I don't recall you covering it, but can you show how the item colour mods is set up? I've found the map mod and item colour mods basically essential for this game.

Game would be super fun if it wasn’t for the clans. Me and a few guys took over an oil field and was happy to share it with others and help. But a clan of 25 came and decided to take it over and only use it for there self’s. They stuck around and pushed us out

What about the stock pile in the seaport for us in the backline. How much of what should we put in there? Wish there where at list for that too

I live to scroop and dump supplies. 27th Revolver Ocelot btw. Oh, and on your logi quiz my only disagreement with you is I would have brought some medic equipment. They have a ton of medic uniforms in that BB but are down to 5-6 heal/revive kits.

I initially got into foxhole because I thought the concept of logi was awesome. Actual people making and transporting supplies for the frontline?! That’s so sick! But I have barely ever done any logi in game 😅

I really wish it wasn't such a struggle to get a train up and running. Having a working network of midline trains that could be easily accessed by solos/small clans would really help bulk up the midline supply lines.

Was looking to get into shipping stuff overseas, how would you guys recommend starting out?

this is the first time hearing about this game within the first 20 secs i bought the game

also what i like to do is put large amounts of mats or shirts and ammo in hot areas where the enemy is pushing from. in front logi i like to supply the fattest supply of the most fundamental supplies first by a large amount even more so than the chart, ( think like 500 or even 1000 shirts or 8000bmats) you may think its a waste but truely most times its not because of when the raids happen they burn through that supply so fast so having that extra reserve is significant in the time they can hold out before resupply. as the chart stands though it is a good general rule of thumb. i mainly adapted this tactic from running logis on squad out of necessity of supplying crucial front strong points with reserves to be able to focus on your flanks while they hold out. its a good tactic when your logi team is down to a skeleton crew.

Alternative answer for the first quiz 7:12, with an explanation after for anyone who is interested. I also wish to note for any new players, or players who are looking at this to learn or try out the game, my answer is NOT to say that Robert's is wrong, there are many "right" answers, mine is simply an alternative that I thought was worth sharing. His answer is very much valid as well. My Answer: 2 crates rifles, 1 crate Ammo, 1 crate trauma kit, 1 crate med kit, 2 crates bandages, and 8 crates shirts Why: You'll notice that 2 Tier 3 bunker cores are destroyed to the west, which indicates that is where the fighting is since there are limited players on radar by the town hall. Due to the distance between spawn and the assumed frontline, this means that you need more staying power in the field so people don't waste time running all the way back up to support the tanks, which we can assume are on this front due to both the destruction of 2 Tier 3 Bunker Cores(very tough to kill as infantry) AND the fact that there are over 100 shells of 40mm and 68mm which is a good indication that people have tanks in the area and are resupplying at that base. As there are already 43 blood plasma you don't NEED to bring up more plasma immediately. However with only one med kit in the town hall, those bandages are not as useful as they could be hence why I chose to bring a crate of med kits. 8 crates of shirts is still 80 shirts which brings the base up to roughly 130 shirts, which is enough to survive until a second supply run from you or another player.

i saw multiple clips of tanks being transported by train its best to be done crated because u can get 5 tanks in one spot instead of 1 tank per cart unless its a mainbattle tank those cant be in crates

Hey in the quiz you mentioned delivering radios. Is this player experience? radios are not listed in the Frontline supply chart.

#1 Freshly captured base in midwar based on the amount of 40 and 68, I'd bring 5 crates of shirt since it's not being pushed hard, as well as 1 crate of LMG and ammo for enemy rush defense. Then one crate of 7.62/plasma/trauma/medkit/2 bandages for foot soldiers and the rest is bmats. #2 lots of 68 but no 40 so I'll bring 5 crates of those. There are quite a lot of bandages but low on plasma/medkit/trauma so I'll bring a crate each for those. It seems like there's only one tank there so I'd get 2 bane/venom crates for the base to help defend against enemy armor, and then the rest could be bomas mix with misc items. #3 Classic bridge battle, fresh TH with some armor support. I'd bring 5 bomastones and 10 bmats for the first trip, then 5 tremolas and 2 lunaire 7 bmats with 1 crate of bino for the 2nd trip for PvE on the other side.

Personally I like to do the stupid dumb Logi that seems impossible. Many years ago I saved Marban Hollow by beaching a freighter and using a series of cranes to lift supplies up the cliff face. Everyone thought it was impossible, and the city was lost due to being encircled. But me and one buddy got everything they needed to fight their way out. Wardens still lost the war, but we held Marban Hollow. This was quite awhile ago, must've been cira 2019. Back when the game came out my favorite role was QM back when the war was just 1 map. Logi for life

1) backline is where u have mpf - GM = backline 2) base3 needs more pve tools cos it just broke the front + its a bridge fight so boma + gas are a must alternatively Bmat heavy supply run to help with buildup of new gains 3) robert still not uses 15+1 in inventory when factory working

When I first started the game I did Logi from back line to front line multiple trips one day I spent about 4 hours driving from back to front. What was worse was I was making the stuff in factories and bringing it up front. Till someone said pull from a closer spot. That was when I started to pull from bunkers. Got told no the other seaports and storage depots from mid line. I know the ways now but back at the start not so much lol

Would be a good idea to follow this video up with a new take on facilities, alot of new players hear about being able to make their own factories (like me) and find that to be the most appealing. Talk about what type of factories people can make (MSUP factory, Heavy shell, rocket ammo / rocket artillery platform production, the list is endless. Which factories work best in the backline, midline or frontline and why, etc… Worth re visiting especially with the msup modifiers being gone and it being viable for one man to maintain a small to medium sized facility throughout this war. I tested it myself. I ran a small one man facility that made arty shells and tank shells, rockets and artillery platforms, and in the end, heavy truck manufacturing for frontline logistics players to have more protection. Before those green goblins destroyed my baby in vipers pit ;(

You still need to look at the situation the Frontlines you are supplying are. For example your #Base 3 is being used as Main Spawn-Point for the Bridge fight that is going on. So while i agree with some more Bmats, i think that Frontline could profit way more from some Gas + Lunairs to push the enemy off the bridge. So for Base #3 I´d go with 5x Bmats , 2x Argenti ,2x 7.6 and 4x Gas, 1x Lunairs (Since there are 24 Lunairs already and Gas only give x5 per Crate)

i used to play the crap out of logi before 1.0, I haven't been able to really get back into it, because i'm not in a clan (nor do i want to be) and i'm having trouble understanding the whole facility thing, I miss scrooping and making my own stuff without having to worry about being shot...I'm know i'm not helping my own case but i would love to do all types of logi and backline was fun before i had to worry about other buildings that i didn't need before

Always be careful when trying to balance infantry weapons and ammo! There are 20 Argentis per crate, but 10 Dusks per crate. This can mess up the assumptions you have about what a good ratio is.

In order of priority Base 1 Shirts guns ammo medical supplies gas mask of gas is an issue Base 2 Shirts medical kits and revival AT or PVE supplies if requested Base 3 Bmats AP rpg and couple crates of medic uni’s I also tend to look for the things people forget about everyone sees shirt bmats and things to shoot with. A lot of people miss uniforms medical bags and shovels.

i feel like if the game had a different xp system than commends mid line logi would much more appealing to people. For example, if every item had a xp value adjusted based on how much of that supply is in the bunker would encourage people to help other bunkers that arent the front yet but could be/ help hexs with low pop or areas that are generally underfunded with low pop. it would also help solve the problem of people hoarding so they can get the commends for making the delivery, i know when i first started i would make private backline stockpile and midline pile so i could get all the commendations greatly hurting the front because i had so much of the scrap from a hex tied up in my commendation farm. commends can just give a shit ton of xp. i know its not perfect but the problem i feel most have with mid line logi is that the reward is self fulfilling.

all 3 need Trauma Kit to not lose more shirts ;)

One gripe I have about foxhole logi-cycle post facility is it's more and more like a daily 9-5 jobs if you want to scale, to a point you wondered why I shoulden't just turn my brain off and be a lowly frontline grunt or stayed strictly to factory-only vowing to never touch facility again

One war... everytime I login I tried to do a self made quest... fill the seaport with 300 crates of shirts... can only do 120+ each time... but I received 100 commends to give to the front line soldiers... :D

this game is cool, but i never got into the combat of it, but with logistics i might get the game to just do that
