You know what would make a great accompaniment to this story? From CASSILDA'S SONG tales inspired by...etc , "Black stars on a canvas, a reproduction in acrylic" by D.A. Walters 😉😍

I liked that the prison official was named Bierce. The Carcosa story was written by Ambrose Bierce. I don’t remember anything about Carcosa in the King in Yellow stories. I’m all confused.
