Yvonne (Lilly) is definitely hotter but had a part on a family show that wasn't about that. Cassandra (Elvira) is hot but not a lot else; that's her part.
De Carlo, by the time of The Munsters, had quite the film resume, and was in her 40's. Not quite a "starlette". Among other things, she had a major role in the John Wayne film "McClintock!" In that film, she played the mother of a character in his early 20's, played by John Wayne's son, Patrick. McClintock! was released the year before The Munsters came out. To my mind, given those pinup shots of her as Lily Munster, just makes her more hot.
That was good. I have seen the shows The Munster's and the Addams Family. I've noticed they had very good writers for these shows. I would love to see shows like those in the 21st century.

Before it became the Munster "house" at 1313 Mockingbird Lane the "flat" (facade) was also used in the Sci-Fi classic, "Earth Vs. The Spider" and in certain episodes of "Leave It to Beaver." "The Munsters" and "The Addams Family" were goofy and just out-right fun! Great memories!
I have seen/heard 3️⃣ bands tonight perform 🎭 the theme song 🎵 and this last 1️⃣ is the best 1️⃣. No unnecessary guitar 🎸 solo and no unnecessary 'vocals'; just the theme song as it should be.
Believe it or not, this theme song was used once for a single episode, and then changed back for the episode after airing. This is the longer uncut version with video editing applied from the show with a few graphics I believe for scenery.
