For many of us, sleeping with our pets is a nighttime ritual. In fact, according to a recent study, more than half of all adults sleep with a pet in their room, and about 1/3 of all children have a pet in their room.
Sleeping with a pet nearby offers a great deal of psychological comfort and support, and it can also be great for your immunity and physical health. But according to sleep expert Dr. Michael Breus, it is important that we consider the ways our pets can impact our sleep habits and sleep quality -- in both good ways and bad.
