Totally agree. The "claim" that privacy laws mean you cannot be told is a joke. This is why I will never pay for anything in the game. I would consider it if this did not happen much, but it happens too often and as you say one never knows if a report means anything!

If the player had a number in their stats, that told you how many complaints they have had, would help, too...... It won't matter ingame, but maybe as clan leaders, we can filter out the morons using this number. if you number is too high, we don't have anything to talk about, do we? Hit the Road JACK!!!

I was wondering if it means "take this free stuff and say that we are the best" or "take this little playable tank and shut up" -- I personally think that there should be a way to reward people who were the most helpful during the season. It might be good to add a way to honor team mates to identify those guys.

I know those guys, they are actually unicums with their actual account and be a part of a well known clan, i dont know why they are doing stuff like this. I even met them in the game as team mates too and they tried to follow me around to push me and so on in my med too.

Had that platoon ingame 1 1/2 year ago. Remember them well, ticketed them with replay.

I took my time and found the clan I was talking about. It's from EU - RBCS. Huge warning for anyone who cares about the game, it's disgusting to see such accounts.

Seems the system is outdated. They probably set it up to recognize "purposeful" firendly fire (as opposed to accidental friendly fire), but with team damage removed the most you can trigger this system is by pushing somone off a cliff or by drowning them. Brilliant, working as intended...

It would be interesting if someone took a look at this from a legal point of view. If you pay for a premium account and this happens to you it means WG cannot guarantee what they say in EULA. Player who is bullied cannot use the product he paid for. I think they would have to pay money back.

this is actually not true (anymore?). in the summer a famous german streamer/yt/CC got banned for one week on action like this.

If you quit, then the trolls win. I have had trolls try to push me into the water, and everything else too..... its fun when your the one who ends up pushing them into the water and just drive away. Make sure you call them an Asshole too.... helps to piss him off even more. which is more joy for me.

What is wg supposed to do instead of banning them for a few days? Permabanning the guy for ha Ing a shitty and and letting it out on his teammates once? All people I reported for e.g. Blocking has no games for at least the next 3-5 days and that is a fine response imo

I did multiple tickets in those years, I always got different answers so I don't think it is a bot message. Also I always checked the reported guy and even messaged some of them, they answered days later. You can also track how many battles they played in every single day in some sites (not in wot-life). I think they actually take the ticket seriously, because if someone is reporting me for no reason and they send a ticket of me I would get banned for no reason if the things are like you are saying. I don't think a multimillionaire company like WG cannot afford a team of 20 people who are responsable for banning people, I just think they should make easier access to the ticket sistem and maybe sponsoring it so many people would get banned, the only thing wich isnt working is the in-game reporting sistem

You're not wrong. But its still good to make these videos because it raises awareness about this bullshit and also it might get the players actually suspended/banned.

Well to be honest we have to admit if the idiots wouldnt exist no content creator would make the assholes type of video.

Not so sure back in the day it was possible to react but this probably led to more victims being banned than trolls. Also remember all the arties that got killed by friendly fire in the first 30 seconds? It was almost impossible to do arty missions. And whoever shot wouldn't get banned since one shot was enough to kill and the system only picked up after several shots(only time I ever got banned, 24hrs, was playing as a pzIc and I machine gunned a team mate trying to push me off a cliff)

Yep. People pushing you around the corner can't be punished. Also it was such a pussy move from WG to remove all chat. It was fun to sometimes just to speak in all chat

If you get to a spot before someone else, they shoot you;you haven't pushed enuff, they shoot you;they think you are the reason they got spotted for firing inside a bush, they shoot you; capping enemy base, they shoot you. He'll team mates would often shoot tomato's at game start in the cap circle no less.

Don't attack friendly players or push them. They will send in replay and get you banned instead. WG is funny like that.

Respectfully disagree. Team damage has just turned to ”bitchy report camper bot” chat for the most part. I don’t see griefing much at all.

That's it, if you use the in-game reporting system to report the players for "Inaction/Bot" or "Unsportsmanlike conduct", Wargaming doesn't take action. Why? Wargaming staffs ain't gonna start digging out countless of videos to review a 5 to 15 mins footage.

You have to send a replay with timestamp and then most likely he will get a 3day ban, which you'll get notified about

The only time I play this game is with the aim of making it unplayable for others. I actively sabotage WOT. WG doesn’t want to listen. I sincerely believe that actively sabotaging the game is the only way to make WG start paying attention to the grievances.

you joking? did he get shooted because of skill or? when i played lt's people stand behind me spotted and i get destoyed. People like this should get banned way longer that 1 day or 1 week. We don't need them in game and for sure we don't want them in game.

But most of the time that is not the case, it is just a matter of players all trying to do the best they can, and competing for good spots to attack from . Makes for a shitty situation when it happens to you, but that is the nature of such a closed map. Honestly they should be looking to expand the maps, then a lot of this would disappear.

Is it even possible to have a WR below 30% legitimately? I'm terrible at the game and still sit at a 48, and I've had plenty of matches where I died early/did very little and we still won

But what if the majority of players are in the wrong side. What if half the team is in on harassing one user and they all just decide to shoot the 1 player. Then they'll lie and say and 1 player was ruining he match and harassing them instead.

@@smajin28 Who knows, there will be a new system coming out in a few days anyway. It'll be interesting to see how it works. Things are nowhere near as bad as they were years ago when chat was global and you could shoot friendlies. Now it's just annoying to have some jerk following you around and bumping your tank for a few minutes. Or pinging the map over and over and making obscene comments in chat. It's pretty easy to figure out who is doing that.

Well it’s a minority of toxic players but they are the ones who ruin any game . Some might think it’s funny to troll others but they should still get banned when their enjoyment comes at the expense of others. If it’s members of a specific clan , you can try and do what I did once. 2 players kept trolling me and I died. Very next battle I saw the same 2 players on enemy team trolling someone else on their own team. I reported it to their clan commander who got back to me and said he looked into it and banned them from his clan . Maybe they started to behave better with their next clan. Who knows? However they did get punished and it was some small satisfaction. I felt it was just for the 2 games I witnessed..maybe they had been doing that for 100’s and it was not harsh enough. Don’t give up on the game due to a few bad people.

One solution can be: after 4/5 report during the battle by team mates the guy can recive damage from alley (and he can't damage them obviusly)

This can never work.... You accidentaly shoot your teammate then he turns on you and kills you...

@@francescosilvi3425 I agree. A system that tracks reports vs battles entered would easily identify 'problem players'. Once they pass the normal threshold, friendly fire (FF) is enabled and teammates can send them back to the garage - Only via shell damage, and those shells fired and hitting the troll should be free. Until the report frequency goes back to a normal rate they should stay in FF mode. I'm on the fence about them turning blue for that time though. On one hand they could be dispatched before causing problems, but on the other that won't give them the benefit of the doubt to try and play properly before being focused. Banning accounts, for days or even permanently, won't change anything.

That system was removed. Killing blue players was okay until a few years ago.

@@KOS762 Very true but we do what we can, even if they're merely inconvenienced, and there's always the chance with a report that we destroyed their primary account with all their expensive premium tanks, bond equipment, etc.

I am Nnot Sure if it actually is possible. If the player in question has an active premium account or prem tank he has a service contract with WG and a claim on the to deliver. WG propably would have to refund him. Which they will not even concider.

We have the technical means to see if reported griefers actually lose their account; I might start taking the trouble to see if this actually happens, or if Wargaming is not punishing them (and at the same time wasting the time of the players doing the reporting).

@@gangfire5932 Do you have the technical means to see if the acount was an active premium one at the time of it being closed. The thing is if WG would ban accounts with payed premium time on them, an you can buy years of it in advance, and with premium tanks bought with real money it would immediatly become a huge problem. There certainly would be legal problems but far, far worse there would be PR fallout. Nobody would invest a Cent into something virtual if he can lose it on a whim. The entire business model of WG would colapse. IMHO the report system is not only useless its actually detrimental to the game experience and the community. Its a big part of the problem. It creates a snitch mentality. At the same time without adressing the real issue. From my observation the report system is abused 99 of 100 times. So of course the reports can't be taken seriously. If I got 10 cents for every time someone in the game said he would report me I would be a very rich man. And I am 100 % not a griefer. I do not push people or block them. Most of the time people say or better threaten to report me because they want me to do something that benefits them... and them alone. Regardless if its sensible for me or the team. This is not even close to being the intended use of the system. Other games also do not use such systems and they work fine. Players show a minimum of cooperation and decency towards their team mates. To me it seems the roots of the problem are somewhere else. The bad behaviour is just a reaction or a symthome. For example take the first guy in the video. The one with the T49. Why did he even get to T9. Apparently he is not properly playing in most games. His skills also seem to be bellow average judging from the stats. How did he advance behond T2 or T3? This is one of the main problems. If people do not play properly they should not get rewards. No credits no XP. Regardless if you are on the winning team or not. No participation, no performance, no points. Like in most other games. The fact that you can bot and loose your way trough the Tiers is a fundamental flaw. This needs to be adressed. I also think we need team damage back. Like it was in the beta. Not with the auto kick or people turing blue BS. Team damage on (for ramming friendlies as well!) and that is it. Like it is in most games. It worked for WoT pretty well during the Beta. Things really started to deteriorate once they changed that. Because people felt helpless once TD was gone they had to implement the stupid snitch system. Which further deteriorated the situation. To the point where we are now: WoT is not 15 vs 15 but usually 1 vs 29.

@@thakori if you're talking about arty players shooting in a game that is based in shooting other players... Then they're doing what the game was developed. There is only two objectives in the game: kill all the enemies or capture the enemy base. There are five vehicle classes, each one with specific characteristics. Choose one, click the "battle" button and go for it. Teamwork is appreciated. Anti-teamwork (as showed on the video) isn't Every player should try its best for his team. This means arty players, too.

How did you know he got banned? In my experience, WG doesn't say shit about what, if anything, they did. I'm sure we are all familiar with the phrase, "With the information you have provided us, we took appropriate measures according to our Game Rules and punishment instructions. Unfortunately, we cannot disclose the exact measures we took due to the protection of data privacy."

I dont agree. It is a business if you are a paying customer. If you buy a branded pair of trainers for 200 bucks and they will last 5 days if you use them properly what would you say if you went to make a complaint and they would tell you it is just a pair of trainers you can buy another one?
