Prince Derek and Princess Odette have just been crowned as king and queen, while an artist named Magnus shows Derek's mother, Uberta, a portrait of her late husband, King Maximilian.
Derek remembers only a few memories of his father, but knows that he loved him.
The saddest thing is Derek knows nothing about how his father died, but he's sure to find out in the next film, which will be the last.
P.S. Excuse the sniffling in the background, I was crying as I filmed the final moments, and seeing Derek cry got me all teary-eyed as well.
