I highly recommend it, I’m going to be working on a full length review of the rifle when I can! I have put many rounds through it, and it never fails, not even when I dropped it in the swamp and mud was caked up inside of the receiver!
Yes, I was practice instinctive/point shooting:) When C clamping the type81 the thumb definitely blocks your irons, this was just some cqb point shooting drills. I have been trying to work on the more instinctive side too
Thank you! And I wouldn't say really easily, but when comparing it to the quality of wood found on a Henry, I would say its defiantly less durable. I have beat this rifle up pretty well, using it as a camp rifle. I would say the biggest damage to the wood in my case is on the handgaurd from doing reloads, where the mag hits the handgaurd if you are being rough and fast haha
@@SmoothCriminalAaron I would say check it first thing you get it, to make sure it’s not one of the bent ones. For some reason there was a shipment a while ago that has a lot of reports of the lower receiver being bent (typically the folding stock version). I’d also say run her wetter than you think you should, these rifles like a lot of lubricant. And I would also just check to see if you have stock wobble (if you get the fixed stock version) because any play or wobble can result in the stock cracking easier at the base (so I have heard). Mine had a tiny bit of wobble, so I just put a tiny bit of wood glue in the seem where the stock goes in the receiver, and she has been fine since! Other than that, I think you’ll love it!
Absolutely, I’ve been in the process of switching a bunch of stuff over, but I have a new camera on the way, and hope to bring better quality content as soon as possible. Without trying to put out lack lister videos before I feel they are ready. So I want to redo a bunch of shots, all sorts of that stuff. But the Type81 content is certainly coming. Thank you for asking, it’s nice to know people are waiting for it! My apologies for the time between videos, I just want to put my full effort into nothing, opposed to push out content that doesn’t feel right to me
