Yes Amen we are to pray for all men especially those that persecute us, but people are not our enemy. The enemy we need to pray about to be destroyed are the enemies within us that keep us separated from God. 🙏🙏🙏

This has been a long standing question I had a hard time reconciling but your point is very enlightening. There are still some headscratchers like Psalm 41:10 where David says "But you, O LORD, be gracious to me, and raise me up, that I may repay them!" But it does make sense that our Father would intervene when the enemy tries to destroy us or our purpose for Him.

Psa 18:42 (18:43) Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind; I did cast them out as the mire of the streets. Psa_139:21 Do not I hate them, O YHWH, that hate Thee? And do not I strive with those that rise up against Thee? Psa_139:22 I hate them with utmost hatred; I count them mine enemies. Psa_26:5 I hate the gathering of evil doers, and will not sit with the wicked. Psa_31:6 (31:7) I hate them that regard lying vanities; but I trust in YHWH. Psa_119:113 SAMECH. I hate them that are of a double mind; but Thy law do I love. Pro_8:13 The fear of YHWH is to hate evil; pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
