This is an awesome crossbow. Light, narrow, fast and a really nice trigger. It was faster than I thought it would be. I’ll be doing more videos with this crossbow. This is the second time I’ve used this crossbow. I’m a male. I don’t read instructions. So there are a few fidgets here and there, but I’ve got it all figured out now. The AccuSlide drawing mechanism is new to me, and that shows in the video. I look forward to seeing y’all in the comments section!

I really think the true survival crossbow would be an Excalibur, no wheels or string assembly. But thanx for the video. I like all crossbows.

Thanks for watching! I’ve had Excaliburs. Great bows, for sure. I took this one in on a trade. No way I would have spent the amount of cash that this one cost. Honestly, like you, I like all crossbows. In fact, all archery. At the end of the day, a $400 Barnett from WalMart will kill a deer just as dead as this Viper, at a quarter of the cost.

Holding low on a deer usually is only necessary when the deer is alert. A calm feeding deer might flinch at the shot but will not usually drop down like an alert deer would.
