Thank you very much Joe for the B-day wishes that made me 😃 The only good thing about being home cause to many teachers have covid is I can watch the deer hunting movie while doing school on-line!
Joe: "I really don't expect any deer in their right mind to be walking around in this today". My favorite Joe quote, second only to "Sarah, it's 4:30, time to wake up". Thanks Joe for bringing this displaced lifelong Minnesotan a taste of home with all of your videos. So very much appreciated!
when he was in the tunnel I thought he was in Tokyo, but then he pulled out into an American parking lot.. Must've no-clipped through a portal like Sonic
Yesss!!! Going to make our beef roast for Sunday dinner and sit and watch this! Like Christmas I wait all year for this! Thank you Joe as always for sharing it with us and your hard work editing and recording! So appreciate it! Love from Darrel and Doris in Ontario, Canada!
Reminds me of my hunting since I retired like to go out Saturday hunt the evening but before will get stuff ready then cook for 3 or 4 days the rest of the time I can hunt and relax
Love the annual Deer Camp Movie. One of My favorite things is when Joe says "Sara, it's 5:30 time to wake up" and then Sara it 5:45 time to wake up....Love it!!!! The thing I look forward to the most every time you arrive at the tent is when you open the door and slowly scan the interior for the items moved by your friendly visiting squirrel. Thanks
Thank You Joe for these videos for the last many years, while the Fam watches holiday cooking shows, that raise your blood sugars, just from watching, I retreat to my media room and relax, into the tent. Brings such a sense of peace, in this hectic time of year. Thank you for taking the time and efforts to share these videos
Boy O Boy I'm glad to see this movie, I'm in the stand hunting with you Mr. Joe. I want to Thank you also for showing your Dad more you have to watch how long the video gets. I love hearing him talk and for the first time in two years I remembered what my Dad sound like just listening to your Dad. I am no sissy but it brought tears to my eyes. It felt like GOD did that just for me so I would remember and used your video to help. I hope everyone in your family fills their deer tag this year. Good luck and stay safe. !!!!! GOD Bless !!!!! James and Judy Hopper Romans 6:23, Jer. 15:24 ......
Love to watch deer hunting and duck hunting my favorites for sure. Glad to see the steps put in for your Dad.Such a kind considerate family you have Joe.
I found the love of pork steaks. I’ve seen you eat them for three years now. I’ve never seen them in Rhinebeck NY. Then low and behold they had them. I cooked them on the grill and oh my god they were tasty. I’ve had them three times since. Thank you for the introduction!
Greetings from Ohio. Finally Joe, I received this on a day where I have nothing to do but rest. I’ve had a very busy four days. I am going to enjoy this. Thank you. When you call Sarah’s name to wake up, she has got to giggle inside knowing that all subscribers want a shirt that says, “Sarah it’s 430 time to wake up.” Lol
Joe, I’d give almost anything to talk to my dad like you were on the early visit when he came over. I know you know what I mean. He sure seems healthy, thank God. Thanks for the video. Oh, and Zach is a fine man. Must make you so proud. Now, about: “Sarah, it’s time to get up. It’s 4:30”
Can't wait to watch this! My wife and two girls are booked to watch the new Spider Man movie Christmas Eve! I will be watching this! ❤️❤️ Merry Christmas from Coventry England!! ❤️🍻🙏🍿
Your dad the little he was in the video looked like he was getting around pretty well for 9 weeks of a hip surgery good to see him up for hunting season
Have been watching your channel for a long long time and I'm really impressed with your statement on the environment and wanting to use less water bottles. I have a lot of respect for you and today even a little more.
Thanks, Joe for letting us tag along the weather seemed to wait for you to leave before cooperating as far as this part of deer season. It's still nice your kids come up along with your dad which by the way has the best setup thanks to Zach and his deer stand skills. Hoping you'll get a deer on the next round.
I my miss videos but never miss deer camp the movie and duck hunting the movie. Love how listening to Joe talk it's so peaceful and it always feels like he is in the room talking to you and not a camera 📸.
Joe, let me first thank you very much for allowing us to join you and your family inside to 2021 Deer season from the tent. I look forward to whatever is coming next from the farmhouse and tent. Thank you again!!
I enjoyed this video, seeing your Father, Zachary, Sarah, the Squirrel eating a nut, the morning waking up, the sunlight burning off the frost, cooking on the grill, watching the weather station, learning more about the pump* you use to shower, & best of all, seeing you hug Zachary. You are a wonderful Father! Thank you for this wonderful video. 🎀Happy Birthday 🎂 Bailey!🎀
Very similar to our deer camp experience. We watch Stargate and a few other DVDs over and over. Me and dad have some of our best talks and getting a deer, well, that's just something that might happen.
You are a caring carpenter Joe....well done. A blessing I have prayed on your household today. On the bottled water...totally concur Joe...its a waste....a gimmick. Every year like clockwork....Sarah...Sarah...time to wake up...like three and four times....so funny. Also, that was neat incorporating Melissa's Go Pro footage of the wood pile into the video.
I heat with 100% wood. I found your channel a few years ago while researching heating with wood. I get good memories every time I see you start that stove lol
Zach looking fit! Sarah, someone had to call me to get up multiple times as well…. Just means we sleep deeply! A blessing! Joe-loved the zoom in on the squirrel!
Just came across your videos and can't stop watching, its awesome, laugh every time it's time to wake up Sarah in the mornings, great job on the videos
Joe, I've come to look forward to deer camp, duck hunting and opening fishing so much. I really appreciate all the worky ou put into shooting and editing them! You've brought me many years of joy and I wanted to thank you.
Tell Zack too give his sister a huge when she walks in the door. The same with you dad, you both need too show her some live. Let your fans see some love , thank you ...you have a sweet daughter there , The world doesn't see families like yours anymore. That's all your lacking. God Bless you all..
Deers must be an endangered species up there. Here in the south, I can walk in my backyard and see 3-4 on an almost daily basis. I’ve been watching joes stuff for years now and have never seen them bag one. Still a great experience for joe and his family members. Love “the tent” videos
Sarah, it’s 5:30, time to wake up, Sarah, it’s 5:45, time to wake up didn’t disappoint! 🦌 Purple plums are such a Sarah tradition, nice she’s on film alot, great chats and laughs! Wondering how many deer are road killed during hunting season, would be ironic! 🦌
Hey Joe. If it's bugging you, @1:52:56, that mat by the door, that corner is popping up. That's easy to fix. Just put a damp towel on that corner, and then put a hot iron on it. Let the iron heat up till it steams, then unplug it and leave it there till it cools. When you pick up the iron, the corner will be flat again. You could probably use a hot brick, or even a flat stone. Best of luck and thanks for the content.
Gotta say that is one super fantastic deer camp setup. In the woods with space to keep warm, sleep warm and cook some great meals. A fella can forget " civilization?" even exists somewhere out there. I'm just a little, no a lot, jealous!!!
Thanks for giving us this video of you & your family. I completely enjoy seeing the relationships you have with each member. It is great to see respect & caring. When Sara took time to see the blind that Zachary built, she spoke highly of it. That was good to hear. No smart remarks like “that thing will fall down in a wind storm” or other nasty things. I love the lake scenes & trees. Hope you were able to relax a few days before going back to cut wood.
My new favorite channels Joe!! I watch your videos all the time my buddy John got me hooked on these! Thanks a ton for allowing us to go to the Tent with you and your family 🤙
Nice video. Was relaxing to watch almost like being there and getting the whole camp experience. I miss our camp that someone burned on us.... Enough said...
Had to get another mug of coffee. Enjoying being in the woods alone. So peaceful and quiet, like you seem to enjoy. I am one that also enjoys it. I’m sure there are many that feel the same.👋JME
Happy Birthday Bailey! Hope you a great Birthday! Joe Thank you for another awesome video. I rather watch You Tube than TV. Your's is on my list! Have a great week!
Joe, Anti Skid the steps with the nail down tread, they are def getting green and slick over the years. Also, 5 Gallon reuseable jugs, and a hand pump or battery pump from Wally world is what we have used for years at our dry cabin! Works fantastic, and no more weight then your 5 gallon Jerry Cans, Jugs are reusable, exchangable and recyclable
Was just now able to start watching the video. I appreciate when you hugged Zach goodby and told him you loved him. I'll be 75 in a few days. I still hug my adult son and daughter goodby and tell them I love them. I don't think it's one bit "unmanly" to do so!
Joe we really loved the movie! My husband and I made a movie night of it ! Very entertaining! You need to have a t-shirt made that says “Sarah it’s time to get up”! We look forward to the next video. Praying you get a deer this next time.
Thanks Joe. This video was really enjoyable. I am somewhat envious of your involvement with your kids lives, and your father's involvement with your life. My dad is no longer with us, and one of my kids is in Graduate school in Ft Lauderdale FL, so we dont get to see him much for now. The scenery of that area in Minnesota is so picturesque, especially the view from the lake side of the tent, and the sunrises and sunsets from the various deer stands. I would love to visit that area, we have visited the upper midwest and spent some time around Lake Superior and went as far as Duluth. You live in a beautiful area.
Always love your videos joe…thanks so much…you and your videos helped us get through that damn pandemic…really appreciate all you do for,us viewers….favourite words. Hello everyone and welcome back…
Waking Sara makes me chuckle. My Dad used to phone me 2 or 3 times in the am when I was on days at Potlatch. I remember him telling me now someone else can wake me up when I got married, lol
Hi Joe I hope you have good time and I can see how you going to get Deer I am excited very much. one thing i see your tent look some how defrent , your Dad look well , he didn't stay much long Zach come now .
Enjoyed every minute of this one, Joe. Always a pleasure to see the family together. Better luck next time, but Im sure you had a blast anyway,, Take care and thanks for sharing. PS. Awesome merch. I plan on ordering one or two things soon. Seeing the Max one really tugs on the heartstrings.
Just started watching... amazing how those birds were so happy to see you... and that rumble of that fire stove... omg... sleeping bag right there and crash...lol
I hulk smashed that like button. Joe this realy was a movie and i loved it buddy. Made me think of my hunts at my cabin in Luddington Michigan 👍🏻💛🙏🏼🙏🏼🇺🇸
Thanks for your great videos Joe. You do a great job each season documenting your hunts and I enjoy them very much. The 8 point I posted below is a mature deer with a younger 1.5-year-old 6 point in the front. Let those 6 points grow a few years and they grow into the bigger deer as you see behind him.
