My family calls anything cooked in foil a hobo pouch...one of the best ways to cook while camping. The meals my mom made we wonderful. Brings back good memories of that old army tent we started out with before they got a camper.

Lost my Dad 19 june 18, he was 86. Had his share of health struggles just like your Dad. Ain't it amazing how tough they are at there age. Learned nearly everything i know from " The Old Man". Taught me to hunt and fish, and how to work with my hand's. If you can do any of those thing's even half way good. "Then there ain't no hill for a high stepper" great vid, keep em coming:)

this presentation made for enjoyable viewing . we like your cabin it is very mise en place .

You can make your own spray cleaner by filling an empty spray bottle with water and adding a couple of drops of dish soap and a ounce or so of vinegar ( optional ). It's a " foodsafe " cleaner. I learned to how make it several years ago while working in a restaurant kitchen. We would clean the counters with it in between making different sandwiches and such.

I just love when you go to the cabin these videos are priceless. I feel like im there relaxing with you guys. Thanks for giving us the best relaxing wonderful adventures.🤗🤗

Thank you Joe, great video once again. I must say it was really needed as I lost my mom this last week, she was 82 and really enjoyed watching them as well. I can't wait till deer season and hopefully all the family joining you up at the tent, but with all the new additions to the family maybe not lol. I noticed when your Dad was running the splitter, his left hand was close to the wedge. I have a friend that used to build these machines. We were out delivering a splitter to a customer and during demonstration I picked up a log by the ends. I was told by the customer to always handle a log by the sides when placing it on the machine. I will always enjoy your videos. you might tell your dad to put his hand on TOP of the log to steady it.

Have any of you other fans tried to analyze why we like to watch Joe stack wood, complain about his clocks, show us his propane tanks, cook and eat enough foods for 3 people, and worry about his bottled water supply? I find these type of video just as satisfying as when they are hunting but I'm just not sure why🤷‍♀️ Keep it up Joe!!!!!!!!!!
