The Tesla CyberRoadster gets an exotic hood 

I have mixed feelings about that hood. First thought, it doesn't match, it might be because of the soft bends while the rest of the car is sharp edges. 🤷‍♂️

OG hood had those beautiful smooth lines going across the front, I gotta agree with everyone, it looked way cleaner

Im not a fan of the hood feel like its moving away from being a awesome looking telsa to something random. Hopefully the final version and colour matching will change that.

Body lines and proportions make a car look amazing, not a hood scoop. At this point, your focus should be on picking the right paint.

I see where your going with the scoop but simplicity def will keep it clean. Seeing that you have the scoop only thing is the rounded edge of the hood that connects to the fender I think having a straight line that goes across will keep the aggressive look

Too much, original hood was cleaner and gave it that Tesla look

Personally I feel the rounded edges don't work given the entire car is so sharp. If you modify the hood to fill the gaps and match with the pointed bits on the sides it'll line up nicer.

hood scoop on an eletric car is kinda weird. Also there is the sharp x smooth lines everyone is talking about, i don't think is bad but it might not be the best option

The new hood is cool no thought about that. I think you should give the new hood the same finishing at the front of the hood so you can still have the cyber roster look.

Everyone is complaining about the sharp edges while I know you are gonna do something about it, but in all honesty, it looks like it belongs there. Amazing work.

If you want a hood scoop, you should have made one that has straight lines and crisp edges like the rest of the car. The curves don't match the car in any way

The back of the car looks good, and the front and hood scope look good. However, something needs to be fixed with the side; it doesn't tie together nicely. Maybe you could model the back side panel after the Lamborghini Aventador 2011-2017 by adding a similar vent, and the front side behind the front tire after the Lamborghini Centenario by adding another popout vent minus all the angle it has on that car. I believe this would tie it all together.

The front bumper is what’s causing the non-exotic look, it would be amazing to have something similar to the back bumper !

I agree with others. Its a good starting point but needs to cut up and changed to have sharp lines instead of the compound curves.

Great hood, but the edges on the front of the hood needs to be straight, like all the lines of the car

I’m not so keen on the hood, but it’s not my car. I think you need to have something with strong edges to compliment the rest of the car. The hood is too soft in my view. If you want the exotic look, then you need a more dramatic front end and lip spoiler to increase downforce which then feeds the diffuser

Curved front edge of the hood definitely doesn’t look right where it meets the bumper. Also not a fan of the round curves. Needs a cyber hood.
